“I really like the lighting. As you can see from the photos the actual bar is illuminated, which gives the restaurant a mellow amber glow. Very clean and the staff wanted to ensure my order was perfect, correct and tasty. I ordered to-go and had an amaretto sour while I waited. I decided to eat there because the bartender was generous ?, I call it a cruise ship cocktail when they are well spiked, domo arigato. Very nice selection of $5 cocktails. The reason for the 4-stars for food is my food was a bit overly greasy and my wings a tad tough. The teriyaki sauce was yummy and not too salty, and yes I like salty. I didn't have sushi this visit but when I have in the past it was fresh and delicious.Again a reminder to the readers please support of our small businesses ?“
“I have been going to Extreme Teriyaki since they opened. They are consistent with their service and their food. Staff is friendly and they always make sure that your order is correct. The food is not only good, but always hot because it is cooked while you wait for it, and you can watch the cooks cooking it. I usually take mine home and by the time I get home it is still piping hot. The restaurant is clean. It has plenty of seating, but hardly anyone sits in there since Covid.“
“I came in 25 minutes before closing, yet I was greeted with open arms, smiles, and was told to take my time. The food and service is absolutely amazing here. Fresh food is always the best and they delivered on that too. Cleanliness is top notch as well! Javier and Jose are great representatives of this company. I came all the way down from near Baltimore to shore some homes, as I’m a real estate agent; I would definitely make the trip again just to come back here. You’ve earned a loyal customer. Keep up the great work!“
“The restaurant has a bit of a bland appearance, but it really big on the inside. We didn't sit at one of the hibachi tables so we were seated straight away. The menu for the entrees and teriyaki were very expensive, no less than $20 for anything. So, I got miso soup ginger salad and sushi rolls. My family thought that it was one of the best miso soups they'd ever had, and we've been to a lot of Asian restaurants. For sushi I got fried salmon skin and tempura shrimp, and they were both delicious. My dad got the chicken teriyaki and the serving was huge. I forgot my bag in the restaurant, and when I came back in our waitress handed it right to me, which was really kind of her. An overall good and delicious experience!“
“4.5 stars (for the area) It's a shame that there are such terrible reviews for this spot. I don't know why people are expecting top notch sushi in Waldorf. You have to manage your expectations to the area it is located in. Their prices aren't as high as DC or northern VA sushi spots that specialize in sushi. Think of this as a place for no frills good sushi but not a fancy sushi specific restaurant. If you go with this reasonable expectation, you will not be disappointed. Also, there are so many other options other than sushi. They changed management in the last few months, so keep that in mind. They updated the interior, and it is much nicer. It's also a quaint spot that people mainly order takeout for from what I've seen in the many times we have been. The new service staff are friendly, but the miscommunication issue that some other reviews mentioned may be due to the language barrier. It seems that English is not the first language of the service staff, so that is probably the cause. If you want home-cooked Korean food vibes, this is the place. When I miss my mom's home cooking I go here! I believe this is a small, local owned business, so let's try to be kind and respectful in our reviews. We are all trying to make a living out here in this ridiculous economy.“
