“The 'little holes in the wall' are sometimes the best and that's the case with Kountry Kafe. I tried their Turkey BLT last Friday and it was so good I went back this Friday and tried the Italian Cold Cut sub!! First, the make their sandwiches on their homemade bread buttered and toasted! They pack on the meats and serve it with crunch ripple chips! DELIGHTFUL!! The sub was good - packed with flavor but I'd recommend the homemade bread sandwiches over the subs. I tried the MD Crab soup which was a little spicy, which I like, but my lunch-mates swear the Cream of Crab is the best! I cannot do the dairy so if you can, give it a go! It doesn't look like your typical cream of crab because of the green seasonings but they assure me it is delish!! Unlimited soup and salad bar is a nice touch in a place like this. The decor makes it clear that they love God so I fully support what they stand for! The bathroom (single) is HUGE. And was clean. The only negative was the smell when you first walk in...I guess you're close to the kitchen and it's a large, varied menu so lots of competing smells...but it was definitely a turnoff. After a few minutes, it no longer bothered me.“
“Staff is friendly as always, and greets you as you walk in the door. You can smell the smoked meats before you walk into the restaurant. We are using them of a catering event, and the catering coordinator was very attentive and knowledgeable about the food and services. Will always return to this Mission BBQ.“
