“Such an unassuming, “hole in the wall” place, but y’all…wow. As a frequent traveler, I find myself all over the country and try to support local businesses every chance I get. Had to make a random trip to Bangor, ME and needed a quick lunch spot. Google reviews did not fail me! Wonderful service at the counter and the sandwiches were *AMAZING*. Don’t let the exterior and tiny interior fool you. Will 100% go back!“
“I'd moved away from the Bangor area over 18 years ago and found myself here on business and with a couple of hours to kill.I knew the Coffee Pot was no more but was pleasantly surprised to find The Legacy is offering the same Super Deluxe with salami on the same Brick Oven bread that was my standard choice for decades. My sandwich did not disappoint and was everything like I'd remembered it to be.The employees were friendly and provided prompt service.I will be making a special trip back and bringing a friend to try the Blue Ox (roast beef with your choice of horseradish or blue cheese).Thank you, The Legacy, for staying true to the old Coffee Pot sandwiches and adding lots more to the menu.“
“Our waitress was kind and helpful even though we came in a little later in the night. The food was alright. It wasn't great but nothing specifically terrible. We also had to wait an extra long time for dessert at the end, but the dessert itself was good!“
“I was visiting the area for a workshop. There was a huge ice snowstorm, and this lovely restaurant was one of the few open. The owner was extremely knowledgeable, gracious and accommodating to the three of us in the party. All of us had different food allergies. The food was amazing and you can see she puts her love and heart into everything she makes. Must visit restaurant if you’re in the area.Dietary restrictions: Her menu is mostly vegan and vegetarian. There are lots of gluten-free options. She makes all her own sauces and uses locally farmed vegetables.“
