“Cheese steak and potato wedges... the ultimate combo and go to at Romeos (with a tall glass of your favorite beer on the side, of course). A top recommendation casual spot for family and friends visiting Maine. Definitely a must stop by spot for atmosphere, food and drink selection. Pizza is also a 10 out of 10 choice if you're for thick crust. Many thin crust spots in Maine, but if you're looking for a thicker crust pizza, this is your go to... TRUST ME.“
“My husband and I often drive to the Applebee's in South Portland and Windham. The best part of this chain is that the food menu remains the same as does the quality of food. I hate going to a regular place and find my favorite item is not served. I always order the Oriental Salad and my husband gets the Chicken and Shrimp. Only once over the years has my husband been served a lukewarm meal. At that time the manager came over and offered him a new meal. We have found neither location dirty, but sometimes service is a little slow at South Portland. The reason is probably lack of staff, which is not their fault. We have one adult daughter who always orders their Mexican meal and another who loves their pasta meals. They have something for everyone. We all love their boneless ribs! Maybe we'll see you there.“
“Went in last night with some family and we had our son in his stroller. The man seating us started to tell us we couldn’t bring the stroller on the floor but the second he saw my sons feeding pump and realized he was disabled he did his very best to find us the spot that would be most comfortable and accommodating for our “
“Champs has the best karaoke sound system hands down. Most of the rest of the places to go for karaoke, are "traveling" dj's so their song choices and versions are limited, the microphones are cheaper, and the speakers/cables are usually old and cause a lot of interference with the sound. (Just my observation). The other thing, is at Champs, there are always two people working the sound (the dj and Mark) so that people aren't too soft, so the music isn't too overbearing, or in my case, too loud. That is why I am a faithful at Champs. The staff, magnificent. They have brought me in like family! The food is amazing, you aren’t going to get fresher food, hand made for a better price!!“
