“First timers, delicious burgers and fries, fast service (in January), very nice ladies, would definitely recommend and will go again when visiting sister who lives in the area!!Parking: Very few parking spots at establishment but good side street parking spots and not an issue because of how fast the service was!!!“
“Well, while riding through town Biddeford looking for a quick bite, I saw the window that said Cafe!! The space is open, clean, and welcoming. You place your order, find a seat, and wait for your name to be called. Open concept, and you can see the cooks working diligently, or you can sit at a window bar and watch the traffic, and people go by outside. The food was on point!! You have to go on Saturday or Sunday for brunch and share the Mainer, a popover that was filled with a delicious maple cream and blueberries!!! It is like dessert for breakfast! The Can Melt is a good size sandwich and is filling. I p paid the popover with a blood orange Mimosa and Life Is Good!! Just stop in, well worth a try. The staff was amazing and friendly, makes it that much better!“
“Killer BBQ in the heart of downtown Biddeford. Everything was great. It’s a small joint so make reservations if you can. The brisket was delicious and very tender. Service was spot on and friendly. The bearded guy working the door and floor was super accommodating. We have so much to try when we’re back. (As good as their Kittery location)“
“Had a great night out to eat with family on the day before valentines day! And it was our waitress birthday. Definitely one of the best service experiences! I hope her birthday went well and that our present to her of a sizeable tip amount helped her in one way or another! Will definitely be back again!“
“Very cool spot. What stands out the most is the ambiance (cozy but also very clean!) and the service. The folks were so warm and welcoming! The food was also delish. I loved the veggie Benedict. Their English muffins are homemade and SOOOO much better than anything you can get at a store. Stop in!“
“Would never expect to see prices this cheap in 2024! Food is on par with average pub food - still very good but obviously not a fine dining restaurant. Waitress was awesome and the atmosphere was very new england. Great place would eat again! YOU CANNOT BEAT MULLIGANS PRICES!!!!!“
“My friend and I had a great dinner at this restaurant. After we were seated in the booth, a server came to offer menus and take drink orders. I had a Pink Paloma and my friend had a hot tea, they were out of creamer but had some regular milk which came in handy. The popcorn for appetizer was new to me but definitely a great surprise. We both love popcorn so we enjoyed it. We both ordered the Royal Steak ? but there’s nothing royal about it. It was a thin piece of meat, next time we’ll try the top tier steak. We atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed which we enjoyed after a long day. We enjoyed this restaurant, we will be back.“
“Our server Olivia was great. She was very knowledgeable about the menu. She gave great recommendations. She was great on checking on us if we needed anything. Restaurant was very clean and organized. Bathroom was very clean and well stocked. Floors were very clean throughout the restaurant. The parking lot was very clean as well.Parking: Very well lit area at night. Very clean.Kid-friendliness: Great menu options for kidsWheelchair accessibility: By federal law every public restaurant has to be wheelchair accessible“
“My best friend and I went to Earth for dinner last Saturday. I hadn’t been there for over a year. It was such a surprise, incredible, unexpected experience, way above our expectations. From a culinary perspective, the menu is super well balanced with dishes that are comforting and innovating. The kitchen executes it to perfection, using outstanding produce and cooking it all in a way that showcases each element on your plate, yet never managing to hide one from the other. One thing I loved was the fact that all protein was well seasoned and perfectly cooked, never needing any sauces to mask its own flavour. We had duck, fish, venison, roasts carrots, ravioli, the tuna sashimi, the scallops and the soup of the day.Portions are perfectly sized. In my opinion, outstanding value for money. The wine list is excellent. Diverse, affordable and complementary to the menu.Deserts were nice as well, especially the Opera Cake and the Pavlova (I could have had a pint of the home made raspberry sorbet that comes as a side to it!).Service was also a star milestone. We had Charlie as a waiter. It makes a huge difference when you have someone that is passionate about what he’s presenting to you, knows the dishes and can honestly tell you about what they are and make genuine recommendations, on top of being good at reading the table, being present without being fake about it, and overall just another highlight of the evening, without being intrusive or over the top (which I find can be the case in some similar restaurants that are training their staff to over sell or use key moments of the evening to interject and justify a tip, or make up for not so perfect aspects of the service).Earth’s environment keeps you relaxed in a very beautiful and elegant room that transports you to a little fairy land of an elegant lodge lost in a wintery forest in Maine. It’s very chic, yet not stuffy. It’s cozy. It has a great vibe for adults, no matter the occasion. But let the Earth’s environment set the mood, I think you should focus on the food, if you’re into it… you can have fun putting together your prix fix menu and have a jolly dinner with someone you like…The only aspect of the night that I think deserves attention from management is that we had a table next to us with a small child, 5 or 6, that was watching Nickelodeon on mum’s phone, without an earphone. My friend could hear Dora the Explora’s every move in her quest to find her backpack… but it was an early winter Saturday evening and the girl was a saint. I would however, empower staff to monitor and curb anyone using their phones on speakers, or FaceTime, while at their table. It was a GREAT dinner! Coming back soon!“
“The overall experience was exceptional. Great food, great service, every detail was thought of. From the time we drove up to the entrance to the time we received our coast when leaving we were treated like royalty. Highly recommend for special occasions you will not be disappointed.“
“Really enjoyed my experience at Bandaloop. The food was fantastic I had the carrot soup and wilted spinach salad as well as the Kailua fudge brownie for dessert. They were somewhat busy when I arrived and seemed to be serving a lot of tables, even midweek. So I would say to expect that and possibly make a reservation. Overall a good experience and nice atmosphere.“
“We had a reservation at 2:30 during the first weekend of the prelude 2023. We got seated right away. We ordered drinks, truffle fingerlings, crispy brussel spouts, chicken meatballs, and a caesar salad. It was split between 3 of us. The food was delicious. Everything was seasoned perfectly. Our waiter was great and knowledgeable. I can't wait to go back.“
“The Village Tavern is one of the best restaurants in the Kennebunk area. The food is delicious. The lamb dish is extraordinary. The wait staff is friendly and professional. It has plentiful seating both inside and out and a bar area as well. Whenever we want a cozy, intimate dinner, we always head to the Village Tavern.. You can always look forward to a great meal and a friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend going to the Village Tavern. You will not be displeased. Ken Kennebunk, ME“
“Wow. We came about 6 months after Wandby Landing opened and the food and service was very good but can say a little over a year later, bam, they have upped their game with new menu items, the flavors on all of the dishes we tried were truly fantastic! This is an A+ in our book for southern/central coast Maine The wine selection was also pretty good, we got a nice bottle from one of our favorites in Williamette Valley and the mark-up was reasonable for the quality of the product. Overall, if you are anywhere need Kennebunkport, you NEED to make this a stop!!“
“We always make it to Joseph's by the Sea without fail yearly during our OOB vacation. Bonus that's it close to the house we rent. Great atmosphere inside and outside, delicious food and drinks, great service, and the best live music. Always a fun time!“
“Kris had an enormous caesar salad w/ chicken salad. it was awesomeI had mussels & firecracker shrimp appetizers for my meal- very good & filling.I believe our waitress was Alicia talking about her awesome kitty. She’s a top notch 10* “
“It is our go-to local restaurant. A varied menu with some particular outstanding items...best fish & chips, poutine. When our vegetarian friends and family visit we always visit. Great assortment of their own beers. The large outdoor deck overlooking the Saco River is wonderful. Staff and management are the best!“
“Quaint little breakfast place, food was great, service was great. It was packed full but still plenty of walking room around tables. Their hash was different. We couldn't tell exactly what was different but different than any other hash I've had (and I order it every where).“
“Pine Point Grill was a unique experience. The service alone made it worth the trip. Our server, Johny, was a delight and the highlight of the evening. He was bubbly, energetic and clearly loves working with people. During our time dining we witnessed a number of patrons talking to him and he knew them by name. Another table mentioned that they were dining there specially on the recommendation to go there because of him and I can honestly see why.The atmosphere was nice and there was a nice patio but it didn't have much to look at in terms of scenery. PPG seems to be in the middle of nowhere even though it's just a couple miles off route 1 in Scarborough, Maine. As for the food, I don't want to be overly critical as we visited during restaurant week and tried the fixed menu. It wasn't bad (and the desserts were wonderful) but overall nothing special for the price point. The risotto was bland without the gravy from the pork tenderloin but the portions were ample. Overall though it was a dining experience to remember due to Johnny and his amazing service.“
“Went in with a friend for a couple of drinks. Very good by the way. The great bartender offered us a couple tastes of different liquors each. When we got the bill we were charged for 2 shots. I'm pretty sure the owner told her to. Not cool.If the bartender offers there should be no charge...“
“To start with the food is always good. Fresh and good quantity. However, if you look at the menu picture on their site it's just a picture only showing breakfast. If you go over to the All Menus site, that pricing is just about 1/2 what it actually is. We ordered sandwiches which listed for $7.99 on All Menus but actually were $14.99 when we picked up. It would be very helpful to have an up to date menu online.“
“We ate there on St. Patrick’s day . We were seated upstairs and it was really nice and cozy . Service was great . We started with the onion ring appetizer. Delicious. We both had the corned beef dinner . It was a huge portion and really good . Fork tender ! Best I have ever had . The chef sent up 2 servings of mashed potatoes to us . The waitress said he felt the potatoes with the meal weren’t enough . They were but it was a really nice of him . Also delicious. Stout chocolate cake and an ice cream sandwich for dessert. Fabulous. Thanks for making our St. Patrick’s day so great . The food here is really outstanding.“
“I had the fried clam dinner. It was loaded with so many clams, I couldn't eat them all. I couldn't decide between the puffy batter or the crumb batter, so they did it 1/2 and 1/2. I was grateful now I know I prefer their crumb battered clams. The woman taking my order was helpful and friendly. I'll definitely recommend them and will be going back.“
“My friend and I stopped here for an early dinner before we headed over to see Jerry Seinfeld that night. I have never been here before. My friend has been here before and said that he always had a good meal. Well, good is an understatement. I had the chicken tenders. I never had such juicy and tasty ones! Everything was delicious. I will definitely go back. Our waitress was the best!“
“Pretty good food, reasonably priced. It's ALWAYS BUSY, which shows the overall quality, but also affects service times. Coffee was good. No kids menu and no real "daily specials", which I feel is pretty much standard for diners. Solid choice (if you can find a parking spot).“
“George was the only server/bartender there on a summer night. He was amazing, great and attentive service. Food was terrific and the drinks he recommended were perfect- not too sweet as requested.Kid-friendliness: There were table games and kid friendly food.“
“Every time I come up to Old Orchard Beach, my family and I stop here! It's no frills, but a solid, straightforward meal. Everything is reasonably priced with portions that will leave you full. Once you walk in, you feel like you've been transported back in time. Old school decor, your classic American restaurant. On the menu, they have an option for a 3-course meal. They have various options to choose from for a fixed price! It's great . My only complaint about it is that they used to have steamers as an option for an appetizer in the fixed 3 course meal, and it is no longer included. I decided on clam chowder, Caesar salad, and stuffed shrimp. I enjoyed the salad, and the stuffing for the shrimp was buttery and rich, but the clam chowder was terrible. No flavor at all and extremely watery broth. Would never get that again. Overall, enjoyable sit down, family restaurant, and will be back next year!“
“This is a hard one. A mixed bag. I ordered a special. Bad news: it was truly awful. Good news: waitress quickly replaced it with another dish. So it worked out fine. My companion was happy with his burger and beer. Wait staff there are most typically delightful.“
“I was out esk8ing (electric skateboard) one cold morning and stopped in to get breakfast, warm up and charge my board which they were very accommodating and gave me a booth right next to some outlets. My waitress was awesome and so was my huge breakfast. Highly recommend!“
“Very nice little restaurant. Waitress was amazing, she had a very upbeat bubbly personality. Haddock plate was cooked to perfection. Lobster mac and cheese was a bit of a disappointment for the price. There was only three or four bites of lobster. Meatloaf dinner was delicious. Definitely will stop in there again.“
“First time visiting Duffy's after passing it many times over the years. Being a Sunday afternoon in the middle of January it was a little quiet inside with few at the bar and a couple of tables seated. We sat at the bar and promptly greeted by the bartender. A glass of wine and a blueberry lemon drop hit the spot for us with a nice pour for the wine and a tasty mix of blueberry infused vodka and limoncello for the cocktail. The bar is a nicely remodeled mill building that was very clean and presentable inside. We will visit again to try some food.“
“This restaurant was suggested to me via my hotel lobby clerk as I understand that it is a favorite of the locals.I sat at the bar as they were very busy and had good conversation with the friendly bar tender even though he was swamped he made sure to interact with me.Started with the crab cake and initially was disappointed at the size of it, but after the 1st bite changed my mind as it was almost all crab maybe a small amount of breading to hold the shape. So a pleasant surpriseI had their fish and chips (pictured) but doesn't do it justice. The fillet was very sizable flaky tender and cooked perfectly. The breading was just enough and great. The only real negative is that they are obviously well liked by the locals and very busy which due to the size of their place made it quite loud.Otherwise a great meal in a wonderful local atmosphere with great food“
“I love this restaurant! If you want delicious, comfort food, this is the place to go! The food is wonderful, the service is quick and efficient, and the gift shop is incredible!Dietary restrictions: I noticed that they are gluten-free options on the menu which I feel is important.“
“Katie C was my server and went above and beyond! I am truly so impressed with the food and atmosphere of this place! If you are in the area, this place has the best fish and chips, live music and an awesome vibe! Thanks again Katie, you made our night!“
“Good service and good food. I've been here a few times and it's certainly a little different every time. We went on Monday so they had trivia starting at 6. Because of this it was a little rowdy, but a nice time overall.Parking: There are parking spaces right in front of the resteraunt, but it is also in a shopping center so you can always park near the grocery store and walk over if you really needed to.“
“Shared a exciting and elated night out here on old orchard beach Maine. I’ve visited OOB many times but yet had crossed this one off the list. Definitely a great time and live music was sensational. If your in the old orchard beach area get down here!“
“We love this place! The interior area can get a bit percussive when it's full. So it makes it very difficult to hold conversation at times. Also low top seating is limited to the inside only. Over all clean environment, great food and friendly service. We will continue to enjoy it time and again!“
“Last night I asked a few friends from our TA class of 75 to come have a happy hour drink with a classmate who was battling cancer. I expected maybe 5 or so but word spread and we had about 34 in total. The staff and management accommodated us as we grew, moved us into a more private room, and the service was impeccable. The waitstaff was so attentive to multiple requests from all and never batted an eye. I can not say enough about this place and how well we were treated. Had some equally delicious food too!!“
“After getting subpar and expensive drinks at the Pier we Googled “Dive Bars” and this place popped up! Great atmosphere, friendly bartenders and amazing prices. Take the walk off the beaten path of the downtown craziness- you will have a great time!“
“Went here for breakfast and great food! The cook brought out my food and realized I had not gotten toast - she offered me the BEST GLUTEN FREE toast! I was so impressed with this observation and the asking about how to toast it for me based on allergies. The eggs were so light and fluffy and the home fries with a good crisp. Would definitely recommend for a breakfast!Dietary restrictions: Gluten and Dairy free“
“Lovely place we had our wedding venue and daughters birthday party upstairs. Very nice and a good price for everything. Communication with owner could be a little better but she always responded back when texting. Very nice lady and enjoyed ourselves ?“
“The ultimate locale to snag an ice cream, lemonade, or a hot dog while indulging in some prime people-watching. As someone who's defenseless against the charms of peppermint stick ice cream, I must admit this one truly tickled my taste buds.“
“I’m so glad my husband and I stopped in on a stroll through downtown recently. I don’t know why it took us so long to get back but it certainly won’t again. I love the warm atmosphere. I was worried I would feel underdressed in my jeans and walking shoes but worried for nothing. It feels fancy but everyone was so relaxed and casual. It would be fun to dress up in date night though. I may never be “ just a wine” drinker again. The cocktail was incredible and made me realize I need to expand my horizons. What a perfect location. I can’t wait to sit outside with the flaming patio heaters especially with more green space out front at the intersection. Will be returning soon!“
