Enjoyed a lovely birthday evening at the Blue Mermaid last Thursday. Beautiful and classy decor, enjoyed the soft background piano music. The food was delicious although the oysters Rockefeller were prepared differently than I have had in our hometown province of Nova Scotia. Recently got takeout from Blue Mermaid, and it was great! Thank you for the sauce recommendation - the ghost pepper flavor this month is wonderfully spicy yet balanced.Thank you for always being a good choice for us on the nights we don't want to cook.
