“Tucked into downtown Lewiston, Labadie's Bakery looks like many other small businesses. It is the state of Maine's best bakery for whoopie pies according to my friend. I wouldn't be one to discern a good from a bad pie never having had one before but I did enjoy my first experience with the states official desert and the charm of the baker.“
“These guys make phenomenal pastries and bread items! My favorite, when they make them, are the s’more Whoopie pies. I could list off dozens of other items, but you should just go in and try things out for yourself! It will not make you sad.?“

“We stopped in to the Cupcakery after hiking for several hours in the nearby Thorncrag Bird Sanctuary, where we definitely worked up an appetite trudging up and down hills in the sloppy snow. We had coffee and something sweet on our minds, and ended up with a variety of seasonal lattes, quiche and cupcakes all around. The interior space was clean and festive, all decked out for Valentines day. The two young people working the counter and kitchen were friendly and efficient, and we were really happy with the variety of options available. We enjoyed our coffees and were happy to see options for non-dairy milk alternatives too. I took off a star only because I found everything we bought to eat way too sweet for my taste buds, but that won't keep me away. I'll just try different things next time. Definitely recommend this cute little spot for a coffee date, or a spot to relax on your own with a treat and coffee or cocoa.“
“Stopped in today for early lunch. This was the perfect spot. I’m gluten free so they were able to make me a sandwich with GF bread. I got a hot tea based off the cashiers recommendation & both were delicious. If I’m in Lewiston again I won’t hesitate to pop in again.“
“This is the place you’ve been looking for! When it comes to old-school bakeries, Italian Bakery is the one! Their pastries are phenomenal to say the least, and everyone’s favorite seems to be the Lobster Tail. I haven’t heard a single negative comment about it. In addition, you should definitely try their cannoli, lemon square, cookies, doughnuts, or anything else that catches your eye! However, keep in mind that the demand is high, and products sell out fast. So, do yourself a favor and order ahead if you want to ensure you can sample everything your heart desires. Also, their sandwiches are not to be missed! Italina Bakery is definitely worth the trip!“
