“Best pizza in OOB hands down! Don’t call ahead, because then you won’t be able to experience tasting one of the local Maine beers at the tavern. We stopped in to pick up some pies and the time it took to get them was just enough for a couple of local ales. Super friendly staff and atmosphere.“

“Kerry was fantastic! We stopped in for a drink, completely new to the area and loved our time here. We got great drinks there and to take home to Michigan. Kerry was so great to tell us about where to get the best chowder in Portland and also for other places throughout our New England road trip. Felt right at home here!“

“Wandered into here on the 4th or 5th stop on my husband’s birthday crawl… we were prob a few years too old to be cool here… but everyone was super nice and they gave us bomb espresso martinis and played awesome chill music. Didn’t have any food but I’d definitely trust them for a snack. Definitely recommend you fit this into your Portland itinerary!“

“Stopped in here for a couple drinks and was served by Ian. He was awesome and alone makes coming back worth it. They didn’t have a huge whiskey/whisky selection but the sister company he explained did. He even went over to grab a menu for us to look at. Atmosphere was great, bathrooms were crazy clean. Must stop by, can’t talk about the food, but getting Ian to serve you makes it worth it!“

Rathskeller on Wharf American • $
51 Wharf St, Portland - 11.34 miles

“Initially, we thought this bar was worthy of five stars. They posted the drink specials outside of the bar and they were enticing enough to bring us in. The bar was nice and empty at the time, but very quickly we realized that it was no longer happy hour. The $4 wells drinks and $2.50 drafts are only available from 4-7pm. Things got out of hand quickly and we felt unsafe. The eight to ten cowboys from behind the bar approached our table asked us to leave. As any good, law abiding citizens would we stood our ground. Shots were fired. The sheer number of cowboys pushed us outside into the streets. The main offender devin was shot. We had to drag him out. They had cowboy boots and hats! We didn’t expect to find this in Portland maine. 4/5 stars.“
