Allagash Brewing Company is a renowned Belgian-style beer brewery that has been masterfully crafting its products for decades. Visitors can enjoy the fine-tuned craftsmanship not only at the brewery but also through their food truck, which offers a tasty and reasonably priced lobster roll. The brewery features a great outdoor space, a rotating draft list of classic and specialty beers, and an excellent cellar tour that provides a blend of the brewery's history, beer, and special samples.

Tour guides encourage questions and participation, sharing stories about the brewery's history and beer-making process. The covered patio is a nice spot with fans for the summertime, and there are games available under the patio and more games for kids on the lawn.
The brewery is known for its iconic Allagash White, and the tour includes 4-5 tastings along the way. Visitors can see the massive 2000lb bags of grain, the 24-hour brewing cycle, and the impressive keg robot and bottling/canning lines. The barrel house in the original brew building also showcases the brewery's focus on lambic-style and "coolship" beers. The staff is knowledgeable, welcoming, and friendly, and the Taste of Maine food vendor offers delicious options.
