I’ve been going to the original Congress Street location since it opened many many years ago. I don’t go there out of habit. I go there because the coffee is great, the staff is always friendly and helpful, and it’s turned into a neighborhood favorite. Sure I’ll go to another coffee shop now and then but I always go back to Coffee By Design.

I ordered the iced tuxedo latte. It was so good! At first, there was only one barista who was doing it all but thankfully a second person came out to help.
Coffee By Design is a neighborhood favorite, known for its great coffee and friendly staff. With a wheelchair accessible entrance, it's a welcoming spot for all. The coffee is excellent, and the dairy options include almond, oat, and soy. The mocha latte is a standout, and the restaurant also offers plenty of vegan options for those with dietary restrictions.
