King of the Roll is an old-school Portland sushi spot with a really casual feel and plenty of rolls to choose from. It’s not trying to be a fancy omakase experience, which is part of the appeal. There’s a lot of variety, the location is convenient, and it’s a solid option when you want to grab some sushi without overthinking where to go.
Just finished a very good lunch at a great price. The king roll with soft shell crab was terrific!
Splendid neighborhood sushi spot! Chirashi was a fresh, seafood adventure. Patio bonus points awarded.
