“5 stars all the way! I went in with my family one afternoon for lunch and a showing of “Shrek” and had an amazing experience. The food was fantastic, we got pizza, meatballs and spaghetti as well as some of their Italian sodas. All were delicious. The view from the table was great and our service was also wonderful! We will absolutely we going back.“

“Very good authentic thin crust pizza. We got small Kalama olive, roasted garlic, and spinach and a small sausage, Vidalia onion, and green pepper to go. We traveled 20 minutes home before we ate, so the crust was a little soggy. Next time we will eat at the restaurant.“

“Had lunch there today for the first time. They were highly recommended by the Hilton Garden Inn I am staying at. It’s a small place but the food and service is first rate. Family owned for over a hundred years! I had the Chicken Parm sandwich and it was delicious. They have a variety of sandwiches and pizza. On top of that, they have fresh served ice cream. I didn’t get the ice cream this time but I did get two bottles of locally brewed blueberry soda which was amazing.Overall, this place gets five stars from me. They were also super friendly and recommended a dinner spot but that’s for another review.“

“I mostly buy ham Italian subs here, but they got a bunch of other nice food here. I like the pizza a lot, and there’s good sandwiches too. Price is pretty ok. And if you’re a kid, you get lollipops when you buy some types of their food. I’ve gotten older, and I don’t get lollipops nearly as often. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯“

After my dad and I had a rough go at a local market and café in Boothbay Harbor I decided to have us go to Amato's because they never disappoint with stellar service. “One of the best brew pubs around, in my opinion. These folks seem to have the recipe for success going strong. They continue to open new sites and everyone we have tried has been wonderful. Their food is relatively simple, but it's always well prepared, nicely presented and served with a friendly smile. I don't drink much anymore but they do have good beer here, enough to tempt me occasionally. It's just a well-run business with a great concept and we're happy to support them.“

“The bartender working today (3/15/24 @ 2pm) did an excellent job managing the front of the house. He was kind, a man came in seemingly disoriented and only asked to pay for a cup of water and he gave it to him free of charge and conversed with him briefly. It’s refreshing to see someone take the time to make sure that another person feels acknowledged and safe where they are. The food was fantastic, the drink was super tasty. Always a good experience at this location. 10/10 will keep coming back.“

Just steps from the Rail Station Visitor Center, you'll find this very delightful cafe, with excellent service, toasty and tasty sandos, and a place to set yourself down outside. I chose outside, as I had 3 bags with me from the train, so it worked out wonderfully for me. I had the turkey with sprouts, (instead of spinach) sando...and some very refreshing lemon Ice Tea! But those snappy pickles and crispy chips...nice touch! I was waiting on the Bus connection at the Station, and I was hungry, plus my bags were heavy...so again, super convenient for you travelers getting off the train or bus. Delicious food. I highly recommend it!“

“When I entered today I noticed a unique and interesting menu. Much of it looked delicious and the pizza I ordered did not disappoint. What really stuck out to me though was the work ethic of our waitress. It was obvious that with the rush she had so much on her plate but she didn't let us feel rushed or ignored.
