“Had lunch there today for the first time. They were highly recommended by the Hilton Garden Inn I am staying at. It’s a small place but the food and service is first rate. Family owned for over a hundred years! I had the Chicken Parm sandwich and it was delicious. They have a variety of sandwiches and pizza. On top of that, they have fresh served ice cream. I didn’t get the ice cream this time but I did get two bottles of locally brewed blueberry soda which was amazing.Overall, this place gets five stars from me. They were also super friendly and recommended a dinner spot but that’s for another review.“
“One of the best brew pubs around, in my opinion. These folks seem to have the recipe for success going strong. They continue to open new sites and everyone we have tried has been wonderful. Their food is relatively simple, but it's always well prepared, nicely presented and served with a friendly smile. I don't drink much anymore but they do have good beer here, enough to tempt me occasionally. It's just a well-run business with a great concept and we're happy to support them.“
“Well me start out with this, I looked at the yelp reviews before going here and I was getting nervous they were like one like for the last three months. Upon trying this place with my wife my sister-in-law and brother-in-law, we were greeted nicely by the hostess and sat down. We had an energetic server, and she was the best suggestion things. I started out with a pork belly appetizer, it was fabulous. My wife got a salad she liked it very much and my sister-in-law and brother-in-law split a baked brie and they loved it. I got a smash burger with french fries it was very good my wife got the salmon and she loved it. My sister-in-law got the steak and my brother-in-law got the Haddock it was plenty of food and it was great. I don't know why they get a bad wrap sorry the buffet is no longer here nobody's doing buffets anymore it's a nice menu it's not overwhelming it's a one page menu with plenty of selections . The drinks were fine I got a bloody Mary which was great my wife got a glass of white wine she liked it my brother-in-law got a sour beer in my sister-in-law got like a Bud Light. I talked to them about their review and they said there was nothing wrong with their food there was nothing wrong with the restaurant it was kind of busy and I like that so the ambience is I don't know open kitchen so you can see everything Chef did a great job The ambience was great. I am very sorry they got a bad wrap on the last four yelp reviews I don't know if it's a disgruntled employee or somebody that's been going there for 38 years and can't deal with change but it was fine and I'd go there again thank you“
“The food was delicious. Our table ordered chicken tenders, a cheese pizza, an athenian pizza (pictured), and a meatball grinder. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. The french fries were perfect. I look forward to returning. The only small downfall was the service was a bit slow; but it won’t keep me from going back.Parking: Plenty of on-site parking on the side and around the back of the building.“
“The Freeport store has a friendly staff. I ordered takeout and it was ready in 20 min. There’s only 3 parking spots out front on the road. I had to park in the pay lot across the street. Since I was less then 5 min I did not pay anything.“
“I always have a great meal here. For desert, the flourless chocolate cake with the Quinto port is a perfect pairing.Parking: Parking in the rear. Steep hill or stairs to front door.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs at front entrance and very wide doors.“
