“There's something nostalgic about visiting any Cracker Barrel Store and this one does not disappoint!I had not visited a CB in some time, and it was great to see the menu still has the old standards of Chicken and Dumplins', buttermilk biscuits and, of course, their meatloaf, as well as their Chicken Pot Pie.I WAS surprised, however, to see beer and wine being offered. Our server said it's been there for as long as he's been serving, so maybe I've been away longer than I thought. “My family and I love this place so much! We LOVE the bone-in wings with the Sweet Glaze the most and the hot bag of donuts. I love the specialty drinks they bring in for all the seasons. Every time we go there we get the best service with the best servers! It is definitely our go to place for eating out.“

“Always the best wait staff and the food is wonderful. Brunch every Sunday with chicken and waffles, French toast among other dishes. I go often for their appetizers especially potato skins and bread sticks. Hamburgers and fried fish are great. It’s like going back in time to your favorite local bar!“

“OMG...This place brings you back to when the world used to be normal, people were happy, families connected over going out to eat, and things were affordable. An old old-school pull-up, order, car-hop type place. Comparable to Olympic Broil, but a little better. If Nip 'n Sip was smart they would play up on their uniqueness, rather than changing to become more like the garbage of the 2020s. Granted, the prices are trending higher, but still a great deal. The food is beyond DELICIOUS, portions are great. I've tried the olive burger, chili burger, chili cheese-o fries, fried mushrooms, and the Hammy Sammy. All are perfect, good portions, delicious as hizhell, just AWESOME!!! Love this place, I would eat here every day if I could (it would be an olive burger and something else)!“

“Such an adorable and bright space! Highly recommend getting "in line" online to avoid lengthy wait times but they seem to turn over tables pretty quickly. We opted for this place due to their reputation of having gluten free options. We were not disappointed as the GF offerings were extensive! I selected the GF pancake combo (not pictured as I inhaled the food prior to remembering) and the pancakes were huge, fluffy yet dense, with the perfect crispy edges! The combo came with two eggs and two meats, then we added a side of American fries to split. The American fries could have used a bit more seasoning so I added hot sauce and they were fine. Will definitely be back to try more of their gf breakfast menu and am looking forward to it!“

“Good food at good prices. Both of us had the omelet ($2 off on Tuesdays) and it was very good. The omelets are fluffy, not just the equivalent of flat top eggs. The waitperson was friendly, engaging, knowledgeable, and efficient. Not fancy and not a fan of paying at the counter, but the payment part is their system. Overall a good place to eat.“

“Best Greek food I've ever had, and I've tried it at many Greek restaurants in many different States. They cook with Love, as do I and it warms my heart when I can actually go into a restaurant and leave, Happy and satisfied. This day and age, that doesn't happen very often. Prices are not that bad, considering how the economy is right now. So many other restaurants are not even trying anymore to give you quality food, this place is and it shows! “We've been to Zynda's several times, now, and the food is consistently delicious. The service and atmosphere are great. Photos are of the Salmon and Creole Pasta. The things medallions and devilled eggs are real treats (appetizers). It's a gem and you should give them a try and find your new favorite spot.“

“First time going to Savvy Sliders. Went to the one in Okemos, Mi. We loved it. Best Chicken Fingers around. The employees are really nice. Even asked how our food was while we were still eating. “Bangos has been one of our favorite food trucks in the Lansing area for so long. We made sure to stop by The Brew Cafe every time they were there. When we heard they were looking to sell, we got really nervous that we might not be able to eat their food again, but are so happy that they are now inside Strange Matter Coffee! Now that the kitchen is open and running downtown, we had to run and grab some of those Nasty AF potatoes! Easily the best thing on the menu and maybe even our favorite food item of all time.“

Met the Manager who toldMe they close at 9:00 but they would stay open for us to order food. We were able to have a few drinks, appetizers and sandwich which everyone agreed were excellent. Anna I believe was her name was our waitress and she was excellent.“

“The pies are all amazing, it doesn't matter which one you get. But you don't want to order online because you'll miss the display case of daily specials. The quiche is always terrific, again it doesn't matter which one you get. My go to is the BLT but I switch it the mayo for mustard. Great place for lunch and a slice of pie!“

“After trying two other bars we dropped in here to see what the music and people were like. We found our place! Awesome band, little older crowd which is exactly what we wanted (no skanks half naked walking around) TONS of dancing and drinks were flowing. “As much as East Lansing has changed in the last 20 years, this place hasn’t and I love it. I almost got lost going because I didn’t recognize my old neighborhood but felt a return to home when I walked in. Buckets of beer, the MSU fight song sang after a Spartan win, and some after dinner karaoke to finish out a great reunion with some classmates. Get the tater tots!!“

“The dining room is near the bowling lanes. We were visiting my husband's blind sister. We requested a quiet table so she could hear us. She is in her 80's and a little hard of hearing. We were seated in a quiet area and the waitress was very attentive. She brought extra napkins, refilled waters and kept a watch on what we needed. The blue cheese burger was tasty. The fries were unusally good. Everyone left happy and full. We'll go back there again. As a note, there are 4 or 5 steps to go down into the dining room. There is also an area accessible without steps.“

“I love coming in to the Mason Big Boy for a quick meal. Staff is always welcoming and treats you better than family. The hostess is super kind and helpful. Their food is always what I expect. “Visited last nite for the first time. Met friends who came over from Laingsburg and we came from Lansing. My hubby loves gizzards. They were the first thing he saw on the menu. Thats all he needed to see. They were excellent. I had the southwest eggrolls. Loved em. We will be a more regular customer. Its a short drive and worth every mile. “Tavern 109 is a cool restaurant in Williamston Michigan. The menu is varied with many items that sounded like they could be good. We tried the polenta bars which were ok but could of had a better sauce; the ginger carrot soup which was too sweet; the chili which has great flavor; the pear pizza which was good; and the Shrimp and gits which was just ok. In all I would like to try some other menu items, but did not love the items I did get.“

“Henry's was one of the first places we went to have a beer and some food upon moving to Okemos. It is a standard bar eatery. The service is personable, polite and always entertaining. Their menu holds up, with options for all eaters. They have very tasty food at a respectable price. Don't forget to have some oysters, as they are both tasty and great with a cold beer. The ambience is straight forward and wide open. It's not a quiet place, but it's a good place to meet people and have a transient conversation while enjoying good food and drink. They offer some screens with sports and great people watching. I recommend Henry's Place for a great experience in Bar Americana.“

“I literally loved everything about my experience this evening, but why did it take over an hour to be served our 5 Wraps or Hamburgers on a Monday evening? I feel communication is key in any business and nothing was said to us about how long the food was taking tonight. So, in my mind as a paying customer with high expectations, I assume this is how things are always run here. Of course, I’m hopeful this is not the case, but when nobody communicates, people will automatically assume this is the norm for this business.If our waiter would have just communicated and been up front about the situation, I would have given 5 Stars. Food was great and he was a really nice guy, but waiting almost an hour and a half on a Monday evening for some bar food seems so wrong without any explanation. Thanks for occupying us and our time with Bingo while we waited and for the Hometown feel of your bar!“

“Visited for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon. Nice, but small pub. There was only one server, so the service was a little slow. The food was great though. My grilled chicken sandwich was one of the best I've had at a restaurant. The kettle chips are awesome. The floors in the place could use some work, and the woman's bathroom had some issues. I still would return if in the area again.Parking: Parking on street in front or large parking lot in back. They have a back door so you don't have to walk around to the front door.“
