“Love this labor of love place. We’ve been going since they were just pop-ups and loved everything we’ve tried. The breakfast galette is particularly addicting. Die hard fans for keeps.Parking: The lot is small on a tough and busy corner. But typically there is a spot open!“
“The most delicious & authentic falafel I have ever tasted in my LIFE (and I have been trying to find falafel like this in Michigan for 11 years now)We ordered last minute catering for a 100+ person event and Haifa Falafel was able to fulfill the order on time (extremely impressive) and everyone at the event went back for thirds and took food home with them. It was my first time ordering from here and was hesitant at first to place such a big catering order, but was pleasantly surprised and will now be a regular customer along with all the other event attendees :) so so happy with my order, the quality of the food, and the service!“
“Gluten free options, delicious food, neat place worth seeing. Outdoor seating. Nice place.Vegetarian options: A whole row on menu of vegetarian options.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free sandwich bread and precautions taken for no cross contamination.“
“First Bite is a gem in downtown Ann Arbor. The food is not only delicious and made in house with high-quality ingredients, but the service is speculator. The staff are some of the nicest people you will ever come across in the restaurant space. I have celiac disease and am vegan and they take the time to customize dishes and safely prepare food for me each time. The menu itself offers a good variety of breakfast and lunch options that will please meat-eaters and plant-based eaters alike. They have both the best tomato basil soup and black bean burger I have ever had. There can be a wait at times, especially on the weekends, but the food is worth the wait. If you're looking for a true local taste of Ann Arbor, First Bite should be top of your list!Vegetarian options: A range of tasty and creative vegetarian and vegan options are available for both breakfast and lunch.Dietary restrictions: They offer a range of options to accommodate many dietary restrictions. Many of the dishes can be prepared without dairy or gluten. They also know about cross-contamination.“
“This place is one of the unsung heroes of Ann Arbor - delicious, nourishing food featuring local farms, and one of the friendliest staff teams around. Our whole family loves eating here. The outdoor seating with heaters is such a boon during chilly weather! We also appreciate that they are one of a few places that are accommodating/sensitive to food allergy needs. The seasonal desserts (peach/blueberry tarts, pumpkin muffins, etc) are our favorites!“
“If I could give more stars I would! Every time I visit I am amazed by the kind staff, delicious food, and clean dining space. I often tell my friends that the burrito bowl here is the one dish I could eat for the rest of my life and never tire of. Even my friends who wouldn’t normally touch vegan food leave with their perspectives completely changed! This is a must-visit restaurant, especially for the burrito bowl!“
“I can’t thank you, Tasty Bakery, enough for coming to the rescue! I called yesterday in search of a dairy free/gluten free birthday cake for myself for today. I knew the chances were slim given how short notice it was but Tasty so graciously said they could make one for me! So so very kind of them and WOW the cake tastes so incredible! I can’t thank Tasty enough for making my birthday.“
“I grew up in Ann Arbor during the '70s. And while this came along later, my mom was a big fan for years. She took me here to it the first time. It's an Arbor vibe. International. playing reggae music.Low key atmosphere casual affordable, serving Indian soul food. thank you earthen jar for putting out such nourishing tasty food for so long.Dietary restrictions: its Gluten free, as I understand it. except for if you order naan“
“I do lap swim in a pool across the street. When I do, I think about what I am going to eat after I am done. This place very often comes to my mind. Food is good but expensive. I guess because you are hit with triple whammies. Ann Arbor... expensive. Anything Zingerman...expensive. Anything eating out nowaways...expensive..While swimming, I realized that Webbers Inn brunch would be about the same as my favorite fish soup and sweet potato fries here. Maybe it is a silly comparison but long story short, good food but bit expensive..When you go, definitely try sweet potato fries..“
“I found tuptim by reading reviews on Google for Thai restaurants in the area. I must say That I truly enjoyed both times i been here. the Food is DELICIOUS and the service is great. i would definitely recommend this place to everyone. tonight we took my sister and brother in law to dinner. I was brave and ordered my food a little to spicy for me. our waitress noticed that i Couldn't take the heat. she brought me another one cooked perfect. i didn't ask her or complain. she did it on her own. that says alot. i was going to pack it up and take it home to try to eat later. she made my day. but even with the 1st one bring to spicy for me it still was delicious. i wasn't going to waste it lol“
“Food is fantastic. A modern menu with items from avocado toast to brioche French toast to biscuits and mushroom gravy. Everything was flavorful, filling, and well priced.A few varied flavored coffee drinks on the menu. The matcha latte was very matcha flavored. Brunch appropriate cocktails were available.Serving staff were happy to let us stay and chat after we'd finished our meal (but it wasn't the heart of the brunch rush.)Parking: Street and parking structures free on Sundays.“
“Great spot for a nice night out with friends, date night, girls night... The food is great, and the vibes are great.Favorite vegan and gluten free options include the sweet potato starter plate and the vegani pizza -- but there are many more options. Oh, and the sorbetto is so good.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free options with extra safety steps available upon request!Vegan swaps available for all pizzas.“
“Start to finish, this meal was awesome.First, we were very warmly welcomed, and seated right away. The service was fabulous, with great recommendations. The food was very flavorful and cooked perfectly. The bacon wrapped dates were a surprisingly delicious flavor combo. We got the lamb shank and the salmon for entrees, both awesome. Dessert (rice pudding) was amazing as well. Love that its family owned. This place has been hiding from me! We will be back in the very near future.“
“AUTHENTIC HIGH QUALITY HOME COOKING!! This place is so charming and honestly a hidden gem! My fiancé and I stopped in here while visiting Ann Arbor and he is from Turkey. He was missing his mothers cooking and this absolutely hit the spot. Their menu is always changing and includes Turkish comfort dishes. The woman they helped us was so sweet and explained everything on the menu in detail. Everything is amazing but get the tomato stewed green beans no matter what. They are life changing!“
“Thriving fresh produce market with plenty of vendors. The organic food selection is impressive. Totally recommend visiting if you enjoy plenty of fresh greens and fruits from local growers. There’s weekly artisan markets and farmers markets.“
“Good food and good people. Been there twice both times to eat at home. Second time I ate there, they forgot my order or prime sauce to go with my nuggets. Called and they promised me a free order of nuggets next time I come in. Great customer “
“Alex my server was simply amazing, quick service and told us about the resident ducks that require feeding for breakfast and lunch :)The food is always good here, I love all of their options of food. Gluten free to plant based. Omelet was awesome and alot of good food.Their decorations are great as well I love the retro look and feel to the whole place.“
“As Jolly Pumpkin is our MOST favorite beer and restaurant, we are sad that it seems the service continues to go downhill . Beautiful Sunday afternoon just before 4:00, not busy at all, we were greeted by hostess (only after the server waiting on the outdoor tables blasted in front of us while letting the door close on us only to chit chat with the hostess). We asked the hostess for one of the many empty tables in the front half of the restaurant since the great big windows were open. She said no, she can’t seat only two people at any of the tables. We said that we come often and are sat there quite frequently, without asking. She said she couldn’t seat us there “it’s policy”. Though not one of the tables was sat the entire time we were there. Our server took a bit to get to us but it appeared to be shift change over time. Thankfully, she was super sweet. We ordered two beers and an appetizer to start. 10 minutes AFTER we finished our appetizer, we still didn’t have our beers. Our server kept looking and waiting for them to no avail. One of our two beers was poured, only to sit there on the bar awaiting the other. 25 minutes after we sat down, we finally got our beers, one an inch lower than the rim since the head had disappeared long before. On the bright side, the appetizer, pizza, and beer were delicious and the server was great! And it’s still our favorite place in AA!“
“We enjoyed everything except the carne asada tacos, which were bland, and the meat was dry with little flavor. It felt like boiled meat and not juicy grilled steak. However, our other tacos, queso cheese, and salsa were fantastic. The price is pretty reasonable, too.“
“Love V Kitchen! Food is REALLY good and all their Vegan options (which there are quite a few of!) are clearly labeled! Ordered take out and it was hot, fresh, and ready at the time they estimated for me. It is definitely a favorite of mine.“
“We had a great experience at Palio during a weeknight dinner. The restaurant seems to cater to a lot of locals, with many families dining together. Ambiance was nice and traditional, with the decor inspired by the Palio di Siena, with many of the flags for the competing teams. The food was delicious and prices were fair. The garlic bread with cheese was substantial and the tiramisu for desert was huge (and very tasty). I had the pollo alla parmigiana and highly recommend the dish. They do not have the traditional primo and secondo piatto, but instead, you can pick the pasta and then add the protein you prefer. I would definitely come back again if I am in the area.“
“This is a place not to be missed! We started with cookies. Great! We tried some of their “confections.” Wow! Their baked goods. Top notch! The pasties are among the best that I’ve ever tasted. After the pąckis this week, I just had to post this review! I’ve always loved the raspberry ones. I love them even more now! You really need to to “discover” this place for yourself!“
“First time customer at any location of Cottage Inn Pizza. No dine-in at this location. Late Sat night and only one employee on duty. He was busy taking phone and in-person orders, making and packaging pizzas, and working the register. He was abrupt and borderline rude. No welcome greeting, no information offered to new customer, and never even smiled. No thank you for coming. He seemed stressed. However, the Smokehouse Pizza (pulled pork and bacon with Robinson's BBQ sauce) was very good. The crust was soft and chewy. I will try the brand again to try more of the selection of gourmet pizzas. I'll try a dine-in location.“
“So impressed! Their customer service while ordering via phone went absolutely above and beyond. Very nice young man, and kindness goes a long way. Very happy to see that in our fast-paced world, that people are kind, patient and detail oriented. Thank you so much!“
“Given some circumstances of my daughter having emergency surgery at the u of m! Door dash was an hr late! So I called the store and i can say i just had the best experience! The manager on duty was so nice and answered any and all questions I had! She was so patient and kind thank you for making my daughter's day! I truly appreciate you and wish I got ur name!❤️ I will definitely be back to order!“
“Really good, I got it delivered and the service/delivery man was very sweet! The food was nice and hot. I got the general Tso chicken, and it was crispy and flavorful. I got egg drop soup too and it was excellent, and I got a spring roll it was alright, very crispy though :). The crab cheese wonton though was really good and I enjoyed that so much! I would definitely go here again and try more dishes. Also I got a good amount, very generous!“
“Yelp is horrible at reviews. People only think to come here when they want to complain, and it creates a skewed perception of local businesses. This Cottage Inn location is the best in the entire franchise, and we go out of our way to order pickup from this location. Their employees are on the ball, their time estimates are usually very accurate, and the pizza tastes consistently amazing. We treated our out-of-town relatives to Cottage Inn last night, and my father-in-law couldn't stop exclaiming about how much he loved it. Keep up the great work!“
“Impressed with the experience I had here. Food came out fast and hot, the atmosphere was nice, our waitress Brooke was very personable. Great to see this location improving. Would definitely go back my experience was a 5/5 and I loved the employee and how they stay on top of refills for all their tables. I recommend this restaurant to friends and family because I loves the experience and environment in this location.“
“Amazing experience for my wife and I. Very generous and warming people with an eclectic and very beautifully tribal atmosphere. Yousef and his two parents were such a pleasure to meet. Very sweet people, and very tasty food. Will be back inshallah????“
