“It's a typical subway in most ways. I have been lucky perhaps in that the few employees I have dealt with have been really nice and professional. They were particularly nice to my kids on separate occasions which I appreciate.Parking: It has a fairly limited amount of spaces but the parking lot is only for the subway and the chiropractor next door.“
“Was in the area and stopped at this Subway for lunch. The two girls at the counter were both friendly and handled our order promptly with courtesy. I ordered the Classic Italian, and my mom ordered a Philly Steak and Cheese. They both turned out great and were delicious.Good, quick service. Nothing insanely outstanding - it is a Subway after all, but also nothing terrible. 5*“
“We've ordered on the app here a few times now and it's always been ready and waiting for me at my chosen time and everything has always been as ordered. I've also stopped in here as well. I have to say that I'm saddened by how I've witnessed some customers being rude to the staff. The place does what it says, makes your sub fresh for you, so it takes extra time as they have to cut the meat and cheese and then assemble it. I've seen customers getting huffy/rude with the staff. They are there to do their job, not to deal with a tantrum that your having so RELAX. Try and enjoy life a bit and be kind! Anyway...The subs are good and thus we keep going back. The Italian with the cherry relish is great and so is the club! Soo good and always fresh!!“
“Great Subway! They are super fast on the app orders, always ready and waiting by the time I get there and always accurate and clearly labeled. I like the overhaul with the real meat slicers vs the factory produced meat. Also I like the new paper packaging verses the old plastic bags that got filled with condensation.“
“We had a graduation and order a week before. The staff was so friendly, I had no idea what I wanted to order, and they were patient and let me work through what I needed to order. When we picked up everything was correct, and we had no issues.Parking: Parking is in the back and was wide open, didnt have an issue with room.Wheelchair accessibility: Parking lot is a little bumpy but getttng in the store was good.Dietary restrictions: We had one person allergic to eggs they made sure everything was handle well.“
“I am vegetarian. The veggie is absolutely the best hot sub I have eaten. My husband and I share a medium sub which is just the right size. We always comment how good it tastes.Vegetarian options: Try the veggie. It’s delish!Parking: You can always find a parking space.Kid-friendliness: Casual restaurant great for loud kids.Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of space to move around including the restroom.“
“I have been a long-time fan of Tubby's Subs, since I first went to the old location in Ann Arbor at the northwest corner of S. State and E. William Streets, right across from the University of Michigan's main campus. Back in those days in the late 1980s, you could order a 16" jumbo-sized sub, a side order of fried breaded mushrooms, and large drink for around $7.00. Ironically, you couldn't move afterwards, but it was the next best thing to heaven on earth. My friend from England, first told me about Tubby's in 1988. So every time he comes to visit his family here in Michigan, we always set aside a day and visit a Tubby's Sub shop in the Metro Detroit area. Sadly, the location in nearby Ann Arbor has long since closed, but we decided this time to make the journey up to Brighton, just across the border in Livingston County. As always, we weren't disappointed. Tubby's, has always been above the competition, especially when it comes to the level of service, and quality that you won't find at Subway. Believe me when I tell you there is no comparison between the two; hence, Tubby's wins hands down. How is that possible? Easy! Tubby's has its own sauce that's out of this world. It's a thicker version of Italian salad dressing that's very zesty, and loaded with flavor. Likewise, the chef, or owner in this case, will cook your sub fresh for you on the spot. We both had the classic "Steak, Mushroom, and Cheese" jumbo subs (sans the mushrooms on my sub), and they were amazing. Great taste, fresh ingredients and very large. The next time I go back to this location, I want to try my old favorite the "Ham and Cheese" jumbo. The Brighton location is now under new management, and owner is very friendly and gives great customer service. Likewise, as an alumni of Brighton High School, he loves to talk about the history of Tubby's and Brighton Community as well. Service was very fast, and highly efficient. That being said, the interior of restaurant is rather small with two tables, and a few individual seating areas. It's really cozy, but very clean on the inside. So if you want a change of pace from burgers, or mediocre subs offered at other locations, then by all means stop in at this location and enjoy yourself.“
