“Jersey Junction is one of those special spots from my childhood, and I love that they have maintained their taste and quality over all these years. Jersey Junction has lots of flavors to choose from as well as other ice cream specials (and lots of candy to buy too, if ice cream isn't your thing). There is some seating inside and on the porch, but I mostly love picking up a cone and then walking through downtown EGR and along Reeds Lake. Bliss! “Me and the family wanted to munch down on some deep dish pizza. So, I flipped out the old Google and typed in "Best Deep Dish Pizza near me" and let me tell you what, they sure knew what I wanted. Big Bob's is by far the best deep dish I have ever had and I went to Chicago once in 1981 to watch A Richard Pryor and Robin Williams lookalike ladies wrestling competition. So I definitely know a thing or two about good pizza, the deep dish variety. The cheese, the sauce, the amount of toppings, and did I mention the cheese? Good. Cause there's a buttload of cheese. Also, they aren't a big place, so you feel super comfy eating like a deranged, feral beast in the corner because you will not be able to help yourself from wolfing this food down quicker than a pack of dogs on a 3 legged cat. So, all in all, make sure you get your next 14 pizzas from Big Bob's, because they know pizza. I only have one negative to say, and that's that there was a very loud, and sliiiightly annoying toddler in the place while we were eating and I wish they could've done something about it. The fact that it was my toddler is completely irrelevant I feel.“

“My wife and I stopped at Bosco's Pub to kill time while our kid was at soccer practice. It's not a very big place, but offered a comfortable atmosphere.From the menu I ordered the Steakhouse Burger. This was a Angus beef patty with Swiss cheese, caramelized onion, mushrooms, chipotle and A-1 sauce. I ordered mine with no mushrooms. The presentation was very nice. It came out on a tray lined with paper. It had a generous serving of crisp golden fries. The burger was served on a nice soft pretzel colored bun. The first bite was amazing! The flavor came in waves and were evenly balanced. You first tasted the char grill that wasn't over powering. Then the chipotle sauce and the A-1 alternated with each bite both complementing each other. The caramelized onions added a nice texture with each bite.I had never heard of this place until last night and I have been telling my friends and colleagues about it ever since.“

“There were 10 of us dining at Olive's tonight. Wonderful service from Alec; the place was hopping but he was cool, calm, and patient. The food and drinks were wonderful and I felt the bill was very reasonable. We love having this great neighborhood spot.“

I can't vouch for authenticity but I can vouch for taste!However, the dining area and especially the bathrooms were quite dirty. The mens bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks, which was unsettling. Maybe the womens bathroom was spotless!There are two TVs in the restaurant, which are playing sometimes risque music videos with music that was a little loud for my tastes.The front of house seemed very understaffed, the waitress doubling as hostess and tripling as doordash gopher.Overall i would go again and recommend, but wish they would address some of the issues that distract from the delicious experience.“

“I took my 3 year old daughter out for ice cream here, and she ordered a strawberry sundae. She didn’t like it, and I offered to trade her my ice cream for hers. The employee overheard our conversation and asked my daughter what she would like instead of the strawberry sundae. The employee refunded me one hundred percent of the cost for the strawberry sundae and made my daughter the treat of her choice at no cost, and was very friendly about it. What the employee didn’t know, was my daughter just got out of the children’s hospital after a long 3 week stay. What my daughter doesn’t remember, is having a central line in her chest… what my daughter does remember… is the evening I took her to Country Sundae for ice cream. Thank you Country Sundae!!!“

“We got the chicken chili mono, goat vinadaloo, garlic naan, and chicken tikka. All were good, but the momo was outstanding. The vindaloo was good, but had several pieces of bone in it, so just be aware of that. The chicken tikka had excellent flavor; you got a nice smoky flavor, but it was really quite dry which I didn't mind, but also be aware of that. The naan was very good but you didn't get much of it.“
