She was a fun waitress too, not one who just takes the plates and doesn't talk.We started with an appetizer, Okonomiyaki. Beautiful presentation, it reminded me of a beautiful crepe. It wasn't everyone's favorite, but I really liked it. Good texture and packed with flavor.My main course was the Kati Roll. The texture of the bread was lovely, it was crispy and soft at the same time. The lamb was delicious and perfectly seasoned, and had one thing on the roll that I didn't think would work with lamb, but it did: Avocado.My dessert was the mango sticky rice. “Jersey Junction is one of those special spots from my childhood, and I love that they have maintained their taste and quality over all these years. Jersey Junction has lots of flavors to choose from as well as other ice cream specials (and lots of candy to buy too, if ice cream isn't your thing). There is some seating inside and on the porch, but I mostly love picking up a cone and then walking through downtown EGR and along Reeds Lake. Bliss! “Me and the family wanted to munch down on some deep dish pizza. So, I flipped out the old Google and typed in "Best Deep Dish Pizza near me" and let me tell you what, they sure knew what I wanted. Big Bob's is by far the best deep dish I have ever had and I went to Chicago once in 1981 to watch A Richard Pryor and Robin Williams lookalike ladies wrestling competition. So I definitely know a thing or two about good pizza, the deep dish variety. The cheese, the sauce, the amount of toppings, and did I mention the cheese? Good. Cause there's a buttload of cheese. Also, they aren't a big place, so you feel super comfy eating like a deranged, feral beast in the corner because you will not be able to help yourself from wolfing this food down quicker than a pack of dogs on a 3 legged cat. So, all in all, make sure you get your next 14 pizzas from Big Bob's, because they know pizza. I only have one negative to say, and that's that there was a very loud, and sliiiightly annoying toddler in the place while we were eating and I wish they could've done something about it. The fact that it was my toddler is completely irrelevant I feel.“

Crispy edges, nice cheesy pull, great taste. Very glad we stopped. Great service and food!“

The scone was a little crumbly, but buttery and dense. The Vietnamese Au Lait was not overly sweet, but rather had the right amount of bite. What a beautiful dessert case. Definitely.Will make this a stop on future trips north.“

And let's talk about the portion size - it was massive for a small, not that I'm complaining - I loved it!My husband went for the banana split, and I have to admit, I was a bit envious when I saw it. We had oyster shooters and truffle fries to start. Both were excellent and came out quick. For dinner we had the short rib and lamb shank. Both were exceptional in presentation and taste. The lamb and short rib were both extremely tender and delicious. My gf is gluten free so it was a pleasant surprise to see gluten free carrot cake available. She said it was very delicious and moist. I had the chocolate mousse, and it was also delicious. If you are in Grand Rapids, FortyPearl is a must for dinner.“

Maybe the womens bathroom was spotless!There are two TVs in the restaurant, which are playing sometimes risque music videos with music that was a little loud for my tastes.The front of house seemed very understaffed, the waitress doubling as hostess and tripling as doordash gopher.Overall i would go again and recommend, but wish they would address some of the issues that distract from the delicious experience.“

The burger was really good :) we also tried fries and gumbo for sides, don’t recommend them, tasted like nothing and very overpriced. The vindaloo was good, but had several pieces of bone in it, so just be aware of that. The chicken tikka had excellent flavor; you got a nice smoky flavor, but it was really quite dry which I didn't mind, but also be aware of that. The naan was very good but you didn't get much of it.“

It was hard for them to keep up with the food.They didnt have chicken till we were about to leave,so didnt get the chance to try it.
