“Spicy braised pork with cheese corn is S tier! Makgeolli is well priced, comes in a big bottle, and is super tasty. Bonus points for the loud ambiance. You can bring your crying baby, and nobody will notice! Must try for anyone in the area.Vegetarian options: The cheese corn and complimentary Tteok-bokki mean you can share a night out pounding drinks and filling up on greasy food with your meat-eating friends!Parking: Clawson has free parking lots at every corner of the 14-mile/main intersection, as well as free street parking.Kid-friendliness: Restaurant has loud music and lights, which will either entertain or upset your child. If they are upset, the music will cover up their cries, and clawson is a family town, so nobody will care anyway.Wheelchair accessibility: Two tables are up a small set of chairs, all tables are at wheelchair height.“
“I went to The Eagle for lunch and it exceeded my expectations! The food was truly delicious. The chicken just about fell of the bone of my drumstick and the mac and cheese was the perfect creamy, yummy side. It was also a cool vibe! As a Detroit resident I love that there's a new place to watch a game that's not just a "sports bar." The service was great, bathrooms clean, and just a 10/10 spot!“
“Tried this specific branch couple of times and food was amazing, tasty, crunchy, yummy. Their online order is easy and good overall, however, there ain't a lot of options to customize your online order, especially when it come to big party orders.Vegetarian options: They have cauli burger.“
“Overall a really good experience. I've been looking for some Nashville Hot Chicken in SE Michigan that isn't Dave's Hot Chicken and popped in here. I ordered the "Hot Chicke" chicken sandwich. The chicken itself was well cooked and moist, and much higher in quality than the chicken at Dave's. There was a good ratio of coleslaw and pickles; the coleslaw tasted great, I'd love to grab it as a side next time. The sweet pickles added some sweetness for balance.I ordered the "Hot" spice level which had some kick but wasn't near "Nashville hot" as the menu describes it, in my opinion. It felt more like Nashville mild. If you love spicy food or you want a more authentically hot style chicken, I'd go for something more than "Hot."I didn't try the sides as I was in a hurry but I'll check them out next time. I do think for charging $2, they could offer a larger fountain drink size. It didn't matter much with my meal as it was only a sandwich, but I imagine if you get a side or two or you order a multi-piece chicken order, you'll want more drink. Especially since most people will be ordering something spicy!Service was friendly and my food came out pretty quickly, although I only had a sandwich so it wasn't much.I don't normally go in this area but I will keep it in my radar for when I'm out this way.“
“Tried Dave’s Hot Chicken few times in Toronto, nothing like this one. “SPOILER ALERT: THIS ONE IS WAAAAY BETTER”.I love the color and the crispness of the tenders, went with HOT. It was EXTREMELY HOT FOR ME NGL.next time i’d go with MEDIUM.They also offer honey and it goes so well with the spicy chicken.Decoration is awesome “shout out to the graphite guy”Prices are good compared to the one in Canada i guess.Parking: New plaza and good parking lot“
“This place does not disappoint The chicken breasts and wings are good size and not skimpy pieces. Broasted potatoes are not flat cut but have ridges or waves. Coleslaw is very good too. Definitely repeat takeout customers. Keep up the great job.“
“The chicken shawarma sandwich was good. The chicken was extremely juicy which is rare for a shawarma place. They only serve chicken! I was not aware of that before heading there for a beer shawarma lol. The man behind the counter told me I could just wait in my car and he would bring the food out to me which is why I gave service 5/5. Food 4/5 and atmosphere 3/5.“
“Best ribs that I've ever ate, and the chicken is absolutely delicious too..Most of the time I get a carryout, but once in a while we'll eat there, and that interior decor has needed a makeover for 15 years of better..With the amount of money that they bring in, Im a firm believer that they can afford a 5-10K for a new facelift on their restaurant ??Parking: Put some of that money yall are bringing in towards a makeover of the interior..That 1980's tile job and faded out wallpaper has gots to go ??✌️✌️“
“For years I ordered party trays for my office Christmas parties. About 20 years ago the chicken parts became too small, and we needed to calculate 3 pieces per person. Unfortunately I started ordering from another vendorThe food has always been exceptional at Chicken Shack but, prices are a bit high now. The battered cod is wonderful, but now you get fish sticks as apposed to filets.“
“Gus's has the best chicken in Detroit and it's not particularly close. I feel like it has almost become underrated with time, but it still holds up.Gus's is one of the only places where I enjoy White meat. The chicken is that juicy. The collard greens are also awesome. This chicken isn't at all like the standard fare around town. It's got a unique batter and taste that I've yet to find anywhere else. The staff is incredibly nice and your food comes out promptly with any sort of modifications you want.Again, there have been a lot of new options for food that have popped up around Midtown. Gus's is still one of the best around and needs to be checked out. Best chicken in Detroit“
“This is my first time having their food I actually stopped in for gas and it was a spur of the moment thing. They have amazingly tender juicy chicken wings & fresh crunchy fries tasty fries i got a 4 PC meal I dont know what that white seasoning was that they sprinkle on it but it definitely was not salt it was tangy and tasty I seriously could not stop licking my fingers. Thanks for the great experience. I will be returning.“
“Ordered the huge New York Style Supreme and it pretty much was the best pizza I’ve eaten.Just enough sauce which most other pizza joints lack although, I expected more toppings quantity especially the pepperoni. All in all, the pizza had great taste!Wish they made the NY one in a smaller size. It only comes in 20”.The box is huge so good luck fitting into your refrigerator if leftovers exist. We’ll have to try the traditional smaller size next time. The New York Style Supreme came to $36 total but keep in mind, the 8 slices are huge and the single pizza is comparable to two large pizzas.Reheat test:In reheating the NY style, it came out perfect at 375 for 5-6 minutes on a preheated ceramic stone. The bottom crust has a very slight crunch with everything else heated enough to melt the cheese while not drying out the remaining toppings. One of my favorite places for pizza now!!“
“Unique! I highly recommend for carryout (via easy ordering by phone or a variety of online services)Service is fantastic. Staff are friendly and beyond helpful. Food is prepared fresh and quickly. I LOVE their style of boneless wings — many places do them like mini chicken fingers (heavily breaded) but this place prepares them like bone-in wings — minimal, if any, breading. And they're BIG. At so many wing places I feel like I'm getting ripped off paying a dollar or more for a single bite... not here.Their menu overstates the spiciness of their sauces - do not be alarmed by the number of peppers shown beside their sauces. Their "hot" is a medium at most, even by Midwestern standards. I don't normally care for Old Bay, but I really enjoyed their Hot Old Bay.The only downsides are their fries and their dining area. The fries might just not travel well — they're crinkle cut, seemed to be cooked through as usual, but were a bit soggy (can easily be blamed on travel) and a little flavorless. Their dining area... is sparse. And smelled heavily of some sort of cleaning solution. On one hand, that's probably good, I suspect the tables were clean. On the other hand, it overpowered the great smells their kitchen should have been giving off.“
