“Came for an event and had an awesome time. The staff was very friendly and helpful and they had a great atmosphere. I'm excited to get a group of friends together and hang out here sometimes. Just a clean, fun, place to hang out and have some drinks. I would definitely recommend it!“

“One of the safest spaces in town, hands down!I feel safe and welcome here as a feminine queer person, which is not something I can say for any of the other queer bars in GR.All of the staff are wonderful, and very knowledgeable. If you’re unsure of what to order, they are always happy to custom make a drink for you. Drinks and food always come out quickly, even on the busy weekends.I also really appreciate that NA/mocktails are a big part of their offerings! They have many different NA spirits, as well as NA cans and bottles. I don’t always drink, so it’s nice to be able to come here and have something I can enjoy without alcohol in it.The food here is amazing! The bao bun trio is my favorite. Their fries are hand cut and sooooo good with the truffle aioli on top! Their churros and cheesecake wontons are fantastic too. It’s so clean inside, the bathrooms are always clean and stocked… which feels like a rarity for bars on bridge street. The bar itself is well decorated and has very cozy intimate vibes.I can’t wait for their patio seating! I plan to enjoy that all summer long :)Overall, this is a wonderful space and a lovely addition to this community.“

“Food - Our absolutely favorite spot in town! Hands down, top 3 burger contendor in GR. Amazing staff - kind and friendly, all good at mixing up a drink! You have to try a "Rob bomb". Atmosphere - This team really knocks it out of the park. Always an awesome vibe with lots of live entertainment! All in all, an amazing establishment. Definitely what Grand Rapids needs!“

“Recently moved to GR and trying to hit up as many cocktail joints as possible. We went here on Friday night and really had a great time. The atmosphere and the drinks were top notch. Bartender made my sister a dealers choice and she loved it! Can’t wait to check this place out again“

“This is the second time we’ve visited here! The first was last October when we were fueling up for the half marathon in Grand Rapids. On Saturday we visited and tried some new things that we haven’t had before. We ate about half the menu the first visit (all of which were amazing), and the second visit did not disappoint. The menu is fantastic and there’s something for everyone. The coffee menu is also good! The atmosphere is comfortable and unique. We live a couple hours away and would definitely make the trip again just to visit this place.“
“Simply outstanding cocktails at a very cool spot. Close to the arena. Can be tricky to find. It’s down the stairs to the north of Big O Pizza and Booze.Kid-friendliness: Not at all. None. You’d definitely get strange looks.Wheelchair accessibility: If you can manage stairs. I don’t see how you’d get there otherwise.“

“Awesome dive bar in GR. Matty was our server and he was seriously one of the best waiters my husband and I have ever had. Little dark inside, don’t remember seeing windows, but plenty of seating at the bar and tables. They had great drinks and drink prices. Pull tabs too! We will definitely “
“I cannot get enough of wiseman! Not only are the drinks delish (the seltzers and seasonal drinks especially) but the service is outstanding. Payton never fails to make sure I have an amazing time and is so knowledgeable. Always a top recommendation to anyone who asks:)“
“Got drinks with a friend on a Saturday night at like 9pm. I lovedddd the vibe of this place. Low lighting with ambient music. Definitely mood setter.Wasn’t crowded at all. Bartenders were super chill, and friendly. They have a few NA options…I had something in a bottle and enjoyed it.“

“We had a small dinner reception in the Elevated Room at Divani on our wedding day in September, and were absolutely blown away! The food, the service, the atmosphere - everything was 5 star. Every single person we encountered was so kind and accommodating. Wendy was also an absolute DREAM to work with. I went back and forth with Wendy for about a year while planning our wedding. Celebrating here was the perfect ending to a perfect day, and we cannot thank you all enough!“

“Beautiful ambiance, speedy service, delicious food, hospitable staff.Eastern Kille has knocked it out of the park.We have been accustomed to their delicious cocktails, but, we were skeptical of how they would execute food and a full scale restaurant scene. No disappointment here. 10 out of 10. From the beautifully designed dining area and patio to the attention of service staff executing quickly during a busy Friday night service, every part of our experience was top notch. The food rivaled Michelin Star restaurants, the chicken liver pate special was well balanced, the bread warm and crisp. The black garlic Caesar had the correct balance of flavors and substituted croutons with a delightfully crisp crumble which remained crisp the entire time we enjoyed it. The pizza crust is perfection and the cocktails, as always, were a chartreuse on top of a beautiful experience. So happy to see the growth and to see expansion done well, keep it up Eastern Kille!“

“We really enjoyed our time here. Cory was an EXCELLENT server. He offered good suggestions and everyone loved their meals. Curry was good, scampi was rated excellent and our friend loved the lemon, Al pastor was a highlight for sure. Really delicious. The highlight of the night was the bread pudding. Save room as it was everyone's favorite. Street corn app was great too. Will be back!!“

“Staying at the Amway Grand for an MBA graduation weekend. Had drinks/tapas one night and then Sunday Brunch the next morning. All of the food was fabulous. Service was top rate, gave great recommendations and answered all questions we had about food and drink. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend MDRD to all of my friends (in fact my partner and I have already recommended to some of them!) If you are looking for a special place with special service and special food, this should be high on the list when in Grand Rapids.“

“This place came highly recommended and we had to check it out. The manager Rachel immediately introduced herself to us and offered complimentary tastings of some of their amazing spirits including: rum, vodka, gin, bourbon, as well as coffee liqueur and ale brandy. We ordered a few cocktails (jungle bird, painkiller) and were highly impressed. The overall atmosphere is eccentric and chill paired with amazing drinks and service. Highly recommend checking this place out for a date night or a night out with friends.“

“Went for our anniversary last weekend. We didn't feel like dealing with the hustle and bustle of a Saturday night, so we booked for Sunday at 5pm. We absolutely did not need a reservation but it was really nice that we did because they were very ready for us. They had a lovely large booth set for us, including a personalized note congratulating us on our anniversary. I will start this by saying the server's name is escaping me, but he doubled as the bartender that evening. I want to say it was Jake? Either way, he was great! We got cocktails to start, whiskey julep and paper plane. My boyfriend didn't love the julep, he went out on a limb trying something new to him, but I really enjoyed the paper plane. Second, we ordered the bison meatballs and medjool dates as appetizers. The dates were fabulous, they reminded me of a super elevated PB&J. The meatballs weren't my favorite, as I found them a little dry, but my boyfriend loved them. I did notice that a TON of things on this menu feature nuts as garnish or contain a nut butter? This place would be pretty tough for someone with a peanut/tree nut allergy. Third, we actually both order the Delmonico steak - him the ribeye (medium) and myself the filet (med rare). Their special that night was Hamburger Helper and I was very, very close to getting it but the steak was calling me. All of our food came out very quickly - to be fair, I am almost positive that we were the only patrons at the time but that worked great for us! The steaks were both perfectly cooked to temperature. I had the Chalk Hill Pinot Noir (Sonoma Coast, CA) per the recommendation of our server, it paired super well! The delmonico potatoes were something I had to ask our server about because I had never heard of them. They were basically a block of cheesy potatoes and they were delicious! I couldn't finish my meal and our server boxed mine up for me... which I promptly forgot at the table as we left (sad). No dessert for us this time as we were stuffed but the Baked Alaska sounded awesome. We will be back!“

“We had a great experience. The food was great. My wife had the tacos and I had the ribs. I would highly recommend both. The atmosphere of this place was unbelievable. There is so much to look at. The server we had was helpful, knowledgeable, and very friendly. The drinks were the highlight of the evening. There is so much to choose from, and I would say each one was a vacation in a cup. All in all, it was a highly enjoyable time.“
“Another great GR restaurant. We've been in twice now. If you find seats at the bar while waiting for your table expect prompt friendly service. They are definitely on top of things. Table service has been a bit mixed. Sometimes it's great sometimes you wait 15 min for salt and pepper when it's not busy enough to warrant that. On our first visit we had a delightful server, Jordan. She was a great help to me communicating with the kitchen and exploring some dinner options that I could have with my allergies. We started with the Focaccia. For dinner I decided to go with the Rigatoni w/the sauce from the Ravioli as it was allergy friendly. The sauce was nice and not sweet thankfully. I've had this dish a few times and the only thing I can say is that the Pasta is a little too Al Dente even for this Italian girl. My husband went with the Rustica Pizza. He liked it but wasn't blown away. He also ordered the Bolognese on a different night. He thought it was more of a meat sauce than a traditional Bolognese which has less tomato to it. He did enjoy it though. Cocktails and Wine selection are good. Definitely going to keep this in our rotation“

“Met up with a friend here and it was super tasty. It was not very busy at all for a Friday night, so I appreciated that. Our server was very nice and accommodating. I love that you are able to turn any salad into a wrap, and their drink menu was good too! It was dimly lit inside and very loud, but I think that's what you'd expect when you hear the term "speakeasy". This is not a speakeasy in the sense that it has a funny looking door or anything, it is very easy to find.“
“Our group had a lot of fun! Service is good and the bowling is really fun. Pretty fast paced but it keeps you engaged. There isn't food to order but you can have food brought in. Full service bar with all your favorite alcohol and beer choices.“

“I was so excited to try this newish restaurant and I'd love to give this place a stellar review...but I just can't. I find that although the service was fine (4), the wine list extensive (5), and the ambiance lovely (4) ... the food was just ok (3). We shared the morel mushroom ravioli appetizer and the morels were so puréed and diluted that there was no mushroom flavor whatsoever...we also ordered two main entrees which we shared. The chicken was delicious but was just brown colored chicken served over a brown mushy bread with a brownish sauce... and nothing else on the plate. The chicken was cooked well and was somewhat flavorful but the appearance was such a monotone that is was really unappealing. The walleye was a fairly large portion ... but again came as a white color with a white sauce served on a white plate with not one single colorful garnish or vegetable/etc. .... And seemed to be prepared by boiling. My opinion is that for the price they could downsize their entree meat portion size and add a colorful side... maybe tonight asparagus would have been available and delightful. Also .... Having garlic listed as the main spice for every dish is a poorly planned menu. Please try harder... we would love to come back!“

“Grand Rapids Top Place for a perfect steak! They never fail to impress with their exceptional tastes. Listening to Frank Sinatra, enjoying a drink, eating my steak, dimmed lighting, is a definition of a perfect night... drinks took a little long, at first, but it's not a big deal when the food and ambience is top tier.“

“Went to HopCat on St. Patrick’s day weekend during Irish on Ionia. The place was crazy busy but our bartender, Kasey was efficient, patient and so kind. She never made us feel rushed even with how much she had going on. Great service! Thank you Kasey!! ?“

Service was exceptional- right pace of checking in without being a bother. Very knowledgeable about the menu and beverages. Tap beer options are not very many, but more choices in bottle and can then there's the amazing wine selection and wide range of Michigan spirits to choose from“

“What a pleasant spot! Great atmosphere for drinks and meeting with friends. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our visit. The brussels sprout appetizer was absolutely delicious. Definitely recommend. We sat at the wooden bench-style booth in the corner. My only complaint is that the bench wasn't very comfortable. It feels like you're sitting at a picnic table. There isn't a good way to sit without getting uncomfortable after a few minutes. I think a few pillows would make that front corner table even cozier! There are all different types of seating, not all seats are this wooden bench type.Overall, I would recommend giving Long Road Distillers a try!!“

“My boyfriend and I stopped here on our anniversary in December and really enjoyed our experience. They are very creative with their drinks and add very cute garnishes and things of the like that fit a theme. The lighting is stunning and really sets a great vibe for an evening with your partner. They allowed me to sample their old fashioned options, which was so kind of them. I loved their old fashioned drinks so much, I bought my dad their holiday pack of 3 flavors for Christmas! He LOVES them too. Can't wait to be back!“

“Such a very cool and exciting space right in Breton village. Many vegan and dairy free options available for my lactose intolerant stomach to digest, which makes me VERY happy. The walls and decor and overall vibe are so eccentric and inviting.the siracha honey glaze on the pretzel sticks are absolutely delicious as was the southwest chicken bowl and the vegan donut sundae. “I went here as I live close by. I went in and sat at the bar, was waited on immediately. I let the bartender make me a drink she designed. A spin on an old fashioned, with rum and pineapple whiskey, very tasty! I got a lime fizz and OMG, so flipping good! I let bartender decide on my third and she did me right with a delicious old fashioned that was smokey and just plain delicious. Not only were the drinks perfect, she used a straw to taste what she made before serving a mark of a true professional. Being into the culinary arts you MUST taste what you nake prior to serving and drinks are no different. Great job! Highly recommend this place for top notch drinks....and good "bar snacks" too.“

“Very impressed! Every part of Bier Distillery was fantastic. The drinks were delightful, the food was fantastic, and the service was stellar. There was something to drink for everyone. I tried a few different beers while my wife and a few different cocktails. Every one of them was delicious.I ate the Apple pie burger, I was skeptical but it was perfect. My wife had the Apple Gouda Toastie and loved that as well. On the side we tried the dill pickle soup and fries. I was also skeptical of the soup but that was one of the best soups I’ve ever had. The seasoned fries were wonderful fries as well. It’s difficult to have an amazing food menu, a perfectly crafted drink for any occasion and have terrific service. However, Bier Distillery pulled it all off.We will absolutely be back and I will be recommending Bier Distillery & Brewery to everyone.Kid-friendliness: There were kid friendly food and drink options on the menu.“
