“Nice place. They try hard to be hip. The food is decent, a bit high in price. I recommend reservations and getting there earlier if you can. They may run out of some dishes. I would have liked to try the bacon wrapped dates, but they were out. We did the crab rangoon instead. It was average. Everything we tried was pretty good- the best might actually have been the beef short rib cheese sandwich. That was solid. My pork chop was ok- decent size and flavorful, but a little more dry than I'd like for 30 bucks. Their hash was fantastic- well seasoned and crispy. The fish sandwich and fries were acceptable. “By far one of our favorite restaurants. One of the only reasons we go to Holland instead of GR is to eat at El Rancho. We have been coming here consistently since 2014 and have never had a bad experience. It’s always great food that arrives quickly, friendly and efficient staff, very very clean, good music, affordable authentic food. I literally have nothing negative to say!Parking: Easy to park unless at peak meal times on the weekends.Kid-friendliness: Crayons and colorable menu. “We grabbed some dinner with my brother and our wives. The food was pretty good, wait staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was pretty cool. They were extremely busy and the staff tried to keep up, they did a nice job. Everyone was friendly and the owner stopped by to say hi. We will go back and try some other foods.“
