I was really hoping the food was going to be as delicious as their picture, but unfortunately I'm going to have to claim false advertising. Blackened chicken pasta was more like soup. I bet there's one slice of a tomato chopped up in there. Restaurant was dead to too so there no reason not to make it how it should be.
We only had the breakfast buffet 2 morning during our stay at the Double Tree. It's a lovely dining area. But the buffet itself is not worth $15. It's less breakfast than we had at the Hampton we stayed at the month before, and that was included with our room! The meat in the shaffer dishes was cold. They constantly ran out of eggs. We had a funeral today and used the hotel to host the repast. After the ceremony, we decided to have drinks and apps.First of all the hospitality was second to none. Pam made a killer Bloody Maria along with all the other specialized drink requests.We ordered wings, potato skins and flatbreads. Everything was served fresh and delicious.Definitely a great place to relax after a hard day.
