“Supberb Flavor overload Korshery red sauce like no other eaten. Rich red broth loaded with Sauteed Onions think French Onion Soup but way better OMG. WOWED Koshari (also spelled Koshary or Kushari) is the national dish of Egypt. It’s served in virtually every Egyptian restaurant, in every Egyptian home, and on every Egyptian street corner. Street vendors serve the dish from carts to people eagerly waiting in line to eat this beloved and highly popular dish. An unusual combination, Koshari mixes lentils, macaroni noodles and rice into a single dish and it’s then topped with a spicy tomato sauce that uses a special Middle Eastern spice blend, garbanzo beans, and fried onions. Open a dozen year's found on a rare visit to the East Side of Detroit. Easy to find border of Grosse Point n Detroit corner Moross n Mack. Also very unique Egyptian Falafel so moist and tender unlike the Lebanese version and a white Tahini Sauce for dipping. Two dishes I highly recommend plenty for a couple a order of Korshery and Falafel. She had a great combo of Chicken Tawook, Kafta n Shish Kebab along with Fatoush Salad n Lentils Soup. Shout out to Matthew our super waiter, he made us Hot Puffy Bread once we entered. A bowl of Toum n Egyptian Salsa placed on table before you order. A truly great restaurant with Egyptian owner and booze. #cleopatramediterraneangrill @cleopatramediterraneangrill #egyptianfood #koshari #egyptianfalafel #lentilssoup #fatoush #toum #motorcitymunchers“
“Amazing food! We stopped in just based off of the photos of the food and my goodness it was worth the stop. We both ordered the Chicken Shwarma wraps and they were amazing. We are at home in New Hampshire eating the other half and savoring the last few bites. Service was also fast and the waitress was polite and very helpful.“
“Walking in, beautiful clean decor - I just wanted something to go, and the girl tending to me was very welcoming and kind- i waited no more than 5-7mins for my food, and off I went. It was delicious and good value for the money. Garlic sauce was one of the strongest best garlic sauces I have had in a while, had a kick!!!! Thank you!!!“
“Highly recommend this restaurant.Beautiful and clean restaurant. Service excellent.Food is all prepared fresh and delicious. Grill Sea Bass was amazing. Ordered a pound of Fried Shrimp ... wow ... it was fresh, big and juicy, prepared in the restaurant not pre-made from a box. Fried Haddock was crispy and lightly batter ... juicy inside ... not greasy.“
“It's been a very, very long time since I've had a restaurant exceed my expectations but I was blown away by how delicious the food was. I had a mixed grill platter, fattoush salad, lentil soup. All were amazing, this is the best restaurant I've discovered in Windsor today would highly recommend to anyone. I hate all salad dressing I never have salad dressing on my salad yet the salad dressing they make here is phenomenal.“
“My wife and I live in the area and we went here for the first time today. We weren't sure what to expect but it was a great experience. The food was delicious, we both got a burger, and they are huge burgers! I got the deluxe burger and my wife got the Swiss burger. The staff was also very friendly, we will definitely be back again! I would rate it 10/10!“
“The absolute best shawarma we have ever had. I had the chicken and my son the beef shawarma fries. It was amazing and so fresh. Service was great. We had take out. Staff was super friendly. Restaurant is very clean and beautiful. We will definitely be back again! I even bought a bottle of their house fattoush dressing. I have no doubt that will be excellent flavor as well.“
“Eddy's was amazing! Great, quiet atmosphere. Delicious food and quick service. We had the BBQ platter and it was excellent. Three of us shared and went home with a little bit of leftovers. Delicious re-heated the next day too. I'll definitely be back.“
“One of my favorite places to go. The staff is always super friendly and the food is absolutely delicious. I crave their spicy potatoes they are so flavorful and all the food is so fresh. If you haven't tried you are definitely missing out.“
“We wanted to check out a place without looking at reviews or doing any research and we chose Alex's. Even with two toddlers, everyone was very accommodating and polite, always making sure plates were set where little hands can't throw them, taking away things as we needed, and giving us extra garlic and pita multiple times without even needing to be asked. The service was above top notch and the food was amazing. Definitely will be returning!Parking: Roughly 15 spots plus other parking lots near by.Kid-friendliness: Staff was very accommodating towards the littles we brought.“
“The only place I will eat hummus at, the food, the customer service, the atmosphere (from staff and other customers) I felt like I was eating at home, I tried so many different dishes I will be back and the lemonade was made to perfection for me❣️“
“This is BY FAR one of the best restaurants in Windsor. Absolutely blown away when we recently got take out from here, just outstanding. Everything is homemade , very large portions. Had the spinach pie ( probably the best I have had in my lifetime) and the Shawarma beef and chicken plate . Just so flavourful and unique! Their pita bread is all homemade as well and it’s unbelievable. I literally called them after our meal to rave ! Will eat here again many times to come.“
“Customer service was great! The cheese and zaatar manakeesh weee very big and decent! The fool was very flavorful and feta as well. I wish they made tea fresh instead of the tea bags, but otherwise great food and great customer service! The environment was very spacious as well.“
“The best middle eastern food anywhere in southeastern Michigan. It's even better than my family's authentic cooking (but don't tell them). Right when you walk in you're treated like family. All of their food is amazing. I especially love their eggplant boats, grape leaves, stuffed squash, mujadara, and platters. They have the best garlic sauce and amazing shawarma. Also Wednesday nights they have dinner specials that you can preorder that are a must try! I usually order one and have enough food for my 5 year old daughter and I to have dinner and leftovers. They offer lots of gluten free foods including preordered meat and spinach pies and are very knowledgeable about gluten free since their son is gluten free. I highly recommend checking them out! You'll thank me later!“
“Cedarland has been our family’s go-to restaurant for Middle Eastern comfort food for nearly 30 years. From amazing lentil soups to fattoush, Kafta, and an impossible-to-beat core menu of shawarma, grape leaves, hummous and tabbouli, Cedarland will make your taste buds happy, fill your appetite and not break your wallet.“
“I've been coming to Anita's for a few years, and I've noticed that I come here most often to get takeout after a vacation when I want something quick and a little healthier. I've also dined in quite a few times! Their atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the service is always quick. My usual go-to is the falafel sandwich with a side of pickled veggies for a filling and flavorful meal. I've also recently had the mixed mezza for two, which was great! It had so many different items in it, and was only $40 for two people, which I thought was a great deal. The hummus and garlic dip are also amazing. Regardless of what I get or when I visit, I've never had a bad meal here. My only complaint is that they're not open on Sundays, which is a little inconvenient, but I totally understand that family time is important as well. I'll for sure keep coming back!“
“My friends and I had a relaxing dining experience at Leila. We were not rushed and allowed to savor the flavors of each course. We started with a selection of appetizers before moving to our main course of chicken and lamb (so good I forgot to take photos). We capped off our meal with an ice cream treat topped with Lebanese cotton candy - so sweet and so good! I definitely recommend visiting Leila for a delicious dinner in a relaxed setting. You won't regret it!“
