“Wow - these pierogi are killer. Got the polish plate: cheese sausage with kraut and 4 pierogi. Cheese and potato pierogi are a solid staple but was lucky enough to try the limited edition flavour that day, buffalo chicken - it was out of sight! Normally non traditional pierogi flavours miss in my opinion, but each one was a hit. Also tried the breakfast pierogi which were sensational. They have a table well stocked with a variety of local mustards and toppings which I also fell in love with, and made sure to visit the vendor who supplies the horseradish mustard for some of my own!“
“The Polish Yacht Club's Walleye and Perch are some of the best in all of Detroit (only Andrew's competes and it's a bit more expensive). It's a large portion that's cooked perfectly and tastes incredibly fresh (a rarity around here, but I won't name names). It's fried, but not greasy at all, and it's flaky because it's fresh (no squishy fish here, thank God) Every dinner is served with pickles, coleslaw, French fries and soup so the value is ridiculous. They also don't lack condiments (malt vinegar included) which I appreciate. The inside of the Yacht Club genuinely looks like the Cigar Lounge of a Country Club. I love it. Small, casual with old school elegance. And the service gives off that same vibe. It's like you're in a cigar lounge only with no smoking and excellent food. Personally, I loved the Ivanhoe Club and will be back!“
“Omg one of my fav places to eat! If you like polish food this place is a must! Very sweet ladies as well! I wish they were open Sunday & Monday as well, but I understand you guys need a rest too! Keep up the great job & ty! **A MUST TRY! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! **“
“Far and away the best Polish restaurant and is still in Hamtramck! Best selection of menu items and everything is done very well. Service is fast and often native Polish speaking. Kitchen staff look hard working. Decor was redone a couple of years ago, for an authentic feel. Should be on your list to make the effort to go there!!“
“My go-to place for pierogi's, and other Polish food that I don't want to make myself. If you're buying your pierogi's from big grocery stores, you're doing yourself a disservice by not getting them here. The quality and taste is night and day.“
“I love Kelbasa Joe's! Hot Hungarian??????only complaint is every no a then you can tell someone has been smoking in the building & makes the place wreak, that's when I'll walk out & they just lost a sale. Use a vape pen you fiends you'll lose less busines. Great products“
“Came here on a recommendation from a friend. He said this place was great, and he wasn't wrong. My favorite was the Jalapeño Popper Perogi, but I also enjoyed the potato-onion Perogi, too. It was something different for us, and I am glad we tried it. Delicious! If you're curious about seating, yes, there are 3 booths and a couple of small tables inside. Although carryout was extremely popular.“
“We were a party of six and we wanted to try everything! We drank and ate plenty. The staff was friendly, the food was excellent and the entertainment was certainly entertaining. My sister got a surprise birthday song and cheesecake that was so good. The winners were the kielbasa soup, the schnitzel and smoked kielbasa .“
“Im not from this area, was here for work and a work friend suggested it. It's a really small place. Very nice people. The pierogi were good. I felt the potato pancakes were not really for me, but they were ok. That's all I tried. My friend likes the burrito. It was pretty big.“
“Such a wonderful dinner experience. Get there by 6:00 or they may be out of some things (it’s that good). They sing in Polish to their birthday customers. The whole family is working to make this business run smoothly. The service was wonderful. The Polish music and family vibe is so welcoming. They have a full bar. If you like Polish food, you have to make the trip!“
“Dough structure for pazcki was ON POINT! Delicious enriched dough. The strawberry jalapeño filling could have used more jalapeños, I didn’t taste it at all. Still delicious strawberry none the less. Pierogi is always on point, delicious dough stuffed with delicious fillings. There are no better pierogi in the metro Detroit area, period!“
