If you want to watch sports in Detroit (especially Liverpool, Lions, Tigers, Red Wings, or F1) you won't find a better combination of atmosphere, craft and import beer, quality cocktails, rare whiskey, and top-notch service than at Thomas Magee's.And if you're fortunate to catch an event when Meny is serving food, his unassuming setup puts out the best tacos I've had in several years.
I was traveling for work and stopped by for a Liverpool match. Great atmosphere and was immediately welcomed to the group. Good variety of drinks, great bartenders, and the owner was awesome. Returned every chance I got and hope to return soon.

Very cool environment to grab a beer and watch a soccer game in the eastern market area of Detroit. The service is always very attentive and friendly. A very unexpected must try for this sports bar is their Irish coffee. This traditionally made drink is on point very comparable to The Buena Vista in San fransisco.
