“This is another one of those establishments Yelp was designed for. DeWitt isn't that far of a drive from my home, but I happened to be nearby for work. Of course I'm gonna Yelp the area and see where my fellow Yelpers are gonna take me. I'm not a wine person, but I definitely am a burger and beer connoisseur. I needed a quiet place to do a little work on the laptop too so I headed to the Bridge Street Social. I got there shortly after it opened and was seated right away. The staff were super friendly, and it's pretty obvious they love working here. I order the wagyu double cheeseburger and a beer they had on tap. I have to say everything about this burger was on point. Well seasoned smash patties, fresh ingredients, and a perfect sauce. I'm not a huge fry guy either, but even those were tasty. The interior of the business was small. There's a couple walk throughs into additional dining space from a room next door, but I'd suggest sitting in the main bar area. It's not a big space but that's where all the action is. A cozy place with friendly staff and even friendlier customers. Parking can be a little a little bit of a walk on busier nights. There's a few spots available out front, and a few more down the side, but the rest are about a block or two away in nearby downtown lots. I ended up coming back a couple nights later because I wanted to bring my GF. We drove from home which was about a 30 minute drive. It was well worth it. We got the smoked meatloaf that is OFF THE CHARTS!! Meals can be a little pricey, but it's well worth the drive and the cost. If you want a cheap meal, order off a fast food dollar menu somewhere else. You want an all around fabulous meal, great atmosphere, and friendly conversation, I'll see you at the Social!!“

“This was the first time we had tried LGB and we we pleased. At first we were not sure they were open as the the doorway was dark and there was no outward sign from the parking area. We checked there website and once inside the door we saw an "open" sign. We were greated by our server, Scott, who was very friendly and helpful . The food consisted of primarily sandwiches and pizza-like flatbreads. The food was very good. Of course they served their own beer. And since I don't drink beer, I ordered their red wine. That was a mistake. I should have known better. Order their food, order there beer but take my word for it, don't order their red wine. And by the way, the homemade cheesecake was delicious. We'll go there again and maybe try out their Sunday brunch. Enjoy!“

“This is a lovely place! Unique menu items, great flavors, nice portions and great service. Went to another restaurant but they had water main issues so they recommended the soup spoon cafe. “This place was incredible! The classic cheeseburger and side of fries were absolutely perfect. The fries were crisp and tasted exactly like McDonald's, just better.The battered mushrooms blew my mind, I will definitely be coming back for those.My only complaint, the jalapeno mac and cheese could have used a little more seasoning. “I pointed Babes out to my boyfriend recently and mentioned we should try them out soon as the menu looked so tasty. He surprised me today with an order to try out a few of their sandwiches: the Betty, the Margaret, and the Fran. My first comment is on the size. He ordered halves, with the thought that they would be smaller sandwiches that would be just a couple bites for us to try. We didn’t realize that it was half a sub! But we powered through, because after one bite, there is no way we weren’t going to try all of them. Literally, some of the best sandwiches either of us have ever had in our lives. So much flavor, the perfect bun, and everything was obviously put together with so much thought. The Margaret in particular was my favorite; a little bit of heat and a tad sweet. So glad to finally tried Babes out, and so thankful to have a new Lansing favorite! Highly, highly recommend.“

Road noise from Grand River is pretty high but I didn't find it spoiled my experience.Parking: You want to go around and enter from the alley behind, the driveway from Grand River is pretty narrow and also the only way to walk from the parking lot to the front.“

“Great place. I had the fajitas which were made wonderfully as food cooked just right. I found it funny the flour tortillas came out hotter than the food. I also had the hibiscus drink called Jaimica which I had never had. I don't think everyone would like it but I did. My only critique for a 4 is two factors. First, because I'm a single male, the waitress seated me in the middle aisle without suggesting a booth. Second, I had to ask for my silverware. Overall, good food.“

“On a typical college town Saturday night at 1AM, the line was growing, and I also noticed the mobile order ticket queue growing as well. The team behind the counter was absolutely cool as cucumbers and extremely friendly. “We hosted a party of about 30 at HopCat last night for my son's MSUCOM graduation. First, I had a nice call ahead of time from Brett, the manager, to confirm the party and our arrival time. The timing was a bit tricky because of the graduation ceremony. Brett really tried to time everything for us so the room/food could be all ready to go right when we arrived. He even left his cell number for me-how many managers would do that?! So impressive!We had the top floor there which is an awesome space if you need a special event room. Everything was PERFECT! The food was amazing-all of it. We had the chicken taco bar, the burger bar, the boneless wings, and the Cosmic Fries. Our servers, Maria and Alyssa were warm, helpful, professional, and sooo efficient. They handled the crowd with ease and always made sure we had enough food, drinks, napkins, etc. They worked so hard to make our event a success for our guests. I cannot rave enough about the service we received at HopCat. They all went above and beyond. Brett, the manager, is on point with his management of this establishment!“
