If you're looking for a place to impress both of the tongue and the atmosphere, this is it. Highly recommend it. Staff extremely friendlyDietary restrictions: The staff was very clear as to inquire about any issues with dietary or allergies, which I thought was really cool“

“Great vegan food-Went for the ‘World’s Greatest Wrap’ and the food did not disappoint. Portion sizes are large, food’s very tasty, and the ambiance is just great. Prices are pretty decent for the location and quality. It’s extra nice in the summer when they open up the windows for patio dining. Would highly recommend.“

“This is a 5 star restaurant serving 2 star martinis. The glasses are not chilled nor do they have a stem to keep your warm hand off the bowl of the drink. A better glass would enhance the experience for us martini lovers and complement the food!“

“The food was fantastic with lots of vegan options. The interior dining area is limited and not appropriate for large groups. There appears to be a lot of take out orders happening and some coolers to pick up premade items to finish at home. I'll be back for the nachos.“

“Was there on a Tuesday6:30 Sept 6. FIRST TIME. Best falafel ever had. Ordered no hummus Vegetables instead. Nice amount of tomato onion and lettus. Went again 6:30 tuesday on sept.13. Like a bad dream ordered 2 falafel Got 80% lettus and cucumber. One veggie fried ball broken into 3 pieces. Pocket bread was cold. Was charged $20 for the 2. Like bad joke. They closed at 7pm. So there I was eating them in the parking lot. I'd come from Jackson just for that meal....! LIKE A BAD DREAM !“

“Located in a a small industrial sub in southern Ann Arbor, Zingerman's has 3 separate adjacent premises housing a bake shop & retail, soft cheese manufacturing & retail, and a candy shop (which I did not visit). Appealing to our emotions is amongst Z's specialties. The bake shop is beautifully presented selling 20 (approx) different kinds of bread made from starter yeast (more time consuming, old fashioned, high quality), bags of cookies, croissants, muffins and other treats. There are other high quality bakeries in other towns manufacturing high quality breads, however, Zingerman's has a splendid selection. The cheese shop visit was interesting, yet it is there is where the trance of the magic Z-spell was broken. After buying the most highly recommended cheese we learned that it's imported, not made by Zingerman's (they only make soft spreadable cheeses). This could and should have been disclosed, far more apparently (if there is fine print somewhere). Some other high quality retailers sell even deeper selections of quality cheese. All representatives were polite and courteous. Some other reviewers have debated if Z's higher pricing and quality are commensurate. This first visit and purchases was not conclusive in discerning the overall value proposition for me.“

“I can’t thank you, Tasty Bakery, enough for coming to the rescue! I called yesterday in search of a dairy free/gluten free birthday cake for myself for today. I knew the chances were slim given how short notice it was but Tasty so graciously said they could make one for me! So so very kind of them and WOW the cake tastes so incredible! I can’t thank Tasty enough for making my birthday.“

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Vinology and had an incredible experience. Chef Nick's educational session on knife skills and knife sharpening was both informative and engaging. Not only did I leave with improved culinary knowledge, but I also gained insight into the restaurant's commitment to sustainability, with a focus on sourcing proteins responsibly and operating on a no-waste platform. The food was outstanding, reflecting their dedication to quality and ethical practices. Vinology and Chef Nick have truly set a high standard for culinary excellence and environmental consciousness. Highly recommended for both food enthusiasts, wine-lovers, and eco-conscious diners alike! I cannot wait to see what else Chef Nick has in store for Vinology!-I apologize! I think that was an error. I have changed it :)“

“My sister and her boyfriend introduced me to this. I’ve lived in neighboring cities and had frequently visited Ann Arbor and had never been here. Great size for cost and THE best Bop I’ve ever had. I’ve been to authentic Korean restaurants and hands down I wish I would of bought more to have the next day. Highly recommend to anyone and everyone.“

“Everything I've ever eaten here was delicious. I especially love that their paellas are certified authentic - served with the crispy rice on the bottom and the best quality ingredients!I like to dine-in here on special occasions with my family - we get one giant paella and a few small tapas plates to share. Always a treat!“

“We visited Ann Arbor for the weekend, and were lucky to find this shop. The owner, John is passionate about his coffee, and it shows. I got a plain cold brew and my friend got a latte and muffin and they were both delicious. Highly recommend for the unique decor and great staff!“

“Lots of character and flavor! So glad I stumbled upon this spot while running an errand nearby. Small interior, but warm, eclectic, and colorful, with just a couple tables for dining in. I'm assuming most of their business is pickup/takeout. As it was my first visit, I was recommended the Perfect Pair special, which allowed me to try a bit of a lot of things. One tamale of choice, one pupusa of choice, salsa, casamiento (a Salvadoran beans and rice side dish), fried plantain, curtido (Salvadoran cabbage slaw), AND a choice of drink. Phew! All of this for $18, and it was more than enough for leftovers (though I can see why a lot of people would clean their plates with this dish - everything is delicious). I got the Chicken and Cheese Tamale, Pork Pupusa, and Horchata for my choices. (They had great sounding vegetarian options as well.) Everything was served together, very hot and fresh. Everything tasted amazing and the flavors and textures really complimented each other. The tamale and pupusa were the stars of the meal, but I also really loved the vinegary curtido, and sweet plantain. The horchata was fantastic also, with a generous dusting of cinnamon on top. Even my to go box for leftovers was cute, with a little hand drawn heart on it. Believe the owner was working, and she was really sweet. There are fun wares and knickknacks around the interior on display and for sale, as well as a donation station for Pilar's Foundation, supporting local and international organizations.“

“I have been to the Roadhouse several times. The food is great, has that classic homemade feel and taste to it. But the real reason to go is their world class customer service. A few times I had special requests, and Zingermans helped accommodate every time with smiles and enthusiasm. They treat you like family there, and as long as you are honest and straight forward with them in person, they will make sure you leave happy and respected. I would recommend this to any person wanting fabulous customer service. The food is stellar, dont get me wrong. I cannot stress how amazing the customer service is! Fantastic! If there are any negative reviews, its because those people were duplicitous and lied to the servers and staff in person and decided to try and ruin this locations reputation to satisfy their selfishness and egos.“

“Our first time having legit Detroit-style pizza and it didn’t disappoint (coming from an admitted pizza snob). We were in town for the Thunder Over Michigan air show. Being exhausted from the workdays event, we were searching for comfort in a delicious, warm pizza on a rainy night. Wanting to dine-in, we passed on a few other closer pizzerias to our hotel. Service was excellent & friendly (our server chatted with us about the airplanes and that her son was planning on education in the aviation field). Pizza was tasty and quick to the table. It was late evening; but, this did not affect the quality of service or the food. Well lit, clean interior and a cool place to visit. If we are ever back this way, we will definitely visit again. Thank you all for the excellent food and welcoming atmosphere.“

“The food and restaurant are great, but the service can be poor. I've asked for an irish whiskey twice and not gotten it either time, and I've also spotted the waitress using her phone when I've been done and waiting for the check for at least 15min“

“I love how quiet this place is during the afternoon - you can actually have conversations with your family unlike so many other restaurants.Bulgogi is outstanding, and the fresh veggies are delicious. Sometime soon, do yourself a favor and try their Bulgogi Burger. You don’t have to have it with Swiss cheese like the menu says. I get it with no cheese or else with cheddar, and it never disappoints.Love this place. Let’s keep it going!“

“Great food and great service!!!!From what I know it's a family run deal but even if I'm wrong about that I can tell you it feels family owned! For real I don't know how they recreated that magic of feeling at home but I feel at home when I eat here and I'm not of Latin origin in any way at all. But I still feel at home there. Well where to continue, the food is obviously amazing or I wouldn't have rated it five stars! The food also had a very authentic feel but I'm of Irish descent originally from East Tennessee so what do I know about authenticity. But what I can tell you is I'd go back daily if I had the money! Not that they are expensive they are actually very fair in price. But to eat out every single day is for rich folk I can't afford to do that.Parking: Plenty of room it has it's own parking lotWheelchair accessibility: There's handicap parking spots.“

“This is a comfortable casual craft bar with a tasty menu. Most portions were quite generous and we were able to share everything we ordered. The food was tasty and creative. There were many crafted drinks, including several non-alcoholic. There was a nice selection of beers and wines. We went for a casual dinner and were not disappointed by anything.“
“Right next door to the bakehouse, this is a stop that you shouldn't miss. I absolutely love their gelato. They have rotating seasonal flavors as well as standard favorites. In the fall, I get their seasonal paw paw flavor. If you don't know what that is, it's a native Michigan fruit that has a sweet, tropical flavor that's kind of like a mix of banana, mango, and melon. Their gelato captures the flavors of the fruit perfectly-it's like you're eating the fruit exactly minus the seeds! Since the fruit goes bad so quickly, this is the only place I've found that sells anything made with it. Of course, the service is impeccable-everyone is so helpful and if you're nervous, don't be! The cheesemonger will ask some questions and direct you to the cheese you want.“
