“I really love this local chain and can’t recommend it enough! They previously had a sister store in Redford that made banh mi’s, I’m really happy to see banh mi on the Detroit menu.Great food, awesome location and highly recommend trying the Autumn rolls and a grilled pork banh miVegetarian options: Veggie spring rolls and veggie phoDietary restrictions: Vegan and veggie options“
“This is easily my new favorite Banh Mi place. The buns were toasted to perfection, the fillings are flavorful. The pickles have a nice crisp for freshness. And overall, it is a very solid well put together sandwich. The price is also fantastic. Five stars all the way.“
“We had heard such good things about this place. Expectations were pretty high but they were met and even exceeded. The Com Tam was fantastic. As it says on the menu, it definitely serves two, probably three if you're sharing some small dishes as well. The oyster mushrooms were not at all what I was expecting and very delicious. There are a number of good Vietnamese places in Metro Detroit. I appreciate that this one has their own point of view. The staff was friendly and helpful.“
“Probably the best authentic Vietnamese restaurant in town! Pho topping was kinda cheap out but the flavour was amazing! Spring rolls were good! Chicken lemongrass stir fry was good too. Definitely go back! Might have to go early to get the seats tho since the restaurant is super small and there are only about 10 tables.“
“I was watching a travel show, and it featured Vietnamese cooking. I craved it so I did a little research, and Little Saigon popped up on my radar.Yum! The food is fresh and delicious. I truly recommend the summer roll and the (very delicious) grilled pork with vermicelli noodles!New to Vietnamese cooking, the waiter was a lot of help in ordering both times we’ve been there. They are very attentive.Three items to note:1. The bowl of fish sauce they bring is poured over the noodles and then you mix it all in. Be careful how much you add - I poured all of it in, which was too much.2. The dishes are very rea$onable for the amount of food you get.3. They don’t bring you a bill. You give them your table number when you checkout at the register. It felt a little odd at first, but we love not having to wait for the check!“
“Alright the pro here is that the portions are out of this world. The con… I’m not sure this place knows their Thai food all too well. The pad see ew was just pad Thai with different noodles and broccoli. Still a sweet peanutty flavor profile. Curry was average. It’s fine in a pinch, especially if you’re looking to get three meals out of one entree.“
“The Bahn Mi was really good and priced well. Especially for the size. The pho was also very flavorful, i definitely like mine on a spicier side(the red color is the chili I added). I only wish they gave more veggies for the pho. This whole area has so many places to choose from so I was meaning to get to this one. Very good, would definitely go back.“
“Food was really good! The Pho was flavorful and you can choose the size (S,M,L) to meet your appetite. Ordered the seafood bag combination… you get a corn, potatoes and egg too! Seafood were on point, cooked to perfection. The crawfish were fresh and large tail meat. The crab and shrimp fried rice was delicious. Enjoyed the appetizers, fried or fresh rolls. Plus take home boba smoothies for the sweet fix.“
“This used to be my favorite place for bun thit nuong because the meat was grilled to perfection and the whole bowl is just delicious, but it's gone a little bit downhill with the pork. It doesn't have the same Smokey charred flavor anymore, but still a pretty solid spot.“
“Finally! I have found the most delicious Vietnamese food in Michigan. I have had authentic Vietnamese food from family (I have Vietnamese family members) and in CA and this is excellent pho. The broth is savory and simply delicious. They are also all so kind there. I ordered food close to closing time and they did not rush me or anything. I will definitely be recommending this place to others and will be back again whenever I am in town. ✨“
“One of the most authentic Asian restaurants and everything we have ordered taste homemade. The pho broth is the best around hands down. The entree portions are even bigger than most Vietnamese restaurants and the appetizers are great, like the egg rolls, crab ragoons, and different salads taste original. The service is pretty quick even during busy hours and seems like they have a great and friendly staff. I would and do recommend Pho Tai for original Vietnamese and Thai food to everyone I meet and they have all said the same!“
“I ordered a salad that is evidently made with a sauce that uses seafood as part of the ingredient base. While the menu notes it is not vegan, the ordering platform the restaurant uses was not clear on that. However, when I arrived they asked if I was vegan (I order the vegan pho as well) and then told me about the sauce. Then, they offered to replace that salad with a different salad they could make vegan. Because I appreciated that effort, I felt motivated to write this review.“
