“Michigan By The Bottle Tasting Room (Royal Oak) is a cool place to explore Michigan-made wine, learn about various types of wines, and explore all aspects of wine making and tasting without actually visiting a winery. My friend and I enjoyed a class recently and have each vowed to attend more classes and visit the other area locations. I'm also interested in checking out the wine club, live music events, and learning more about their winery partners. Trips to a few wineries is at the top of my to-do list. Other classes are offered making it a great place for exploring new hobbies and experiences. I am also interested in their script and charcuterie classes, and pub quiz nights. You can enjoy your wine with various noshes, such as warm pretzels, cheese plates, and sweet treats all locally made. The wine popsicles are dreamy. I definitely need to start making those at home! Classes are inexpensive, informative and fun. There's plenty of parking in the back lot.“
“I have been to a few wine tastings but I came here for the first time and it's worth saying I had a great time. The service was awesome. The young lady that served us was open, down to earth, and well informed on the wines she served us. All the staff were welcoming once we came through the door. One of the customers gave us a good recommendation on a spiced rum that was very delicious. You'll see it in my pictures. I picked several spirits that were flavored. My favorite was the spiced rum and blackberry vodka. I'm a whiskey and bourbon drinker but I stepped outside my normal and tried something different. I'd definitely suggest this place if you like wine, a good date idea (if she/he drinks), or a new experience. If you like this place as much as I do. Give a thumbs up.Also, I provided the menu with and without my selections.“
“Bought my first bottle of Madeline a couple weeks ago and just finished it, I've been sipping it so I don't chug the bottle. This is definitely the best mead I've ever had and I would go as far as to say the best alcoholic beverage I've ever had. It's like they took the tears of a God and bottled them for us mere mortals to drink.“
