“Bought my first bottle of Madeline a couple weeks ago and just finished it, I've been sipping it so I don't chug the bottle. This is definitely the best mead I've ever had and I would go as far as to say the best alcoholic beverage I've ever had. It's like they took the tears of a God and bottled them for us mere mortals to drink.“
“I've hosted several events at Bar Pigalle, and the staff always goes above and beyond to ensure everything runs smoothly. Whether it's a birthday party or a corporate gathering, they're accommodating and easy to work with. I love the staffs being hospitable to everyone and treated them with respect.“
“Outstanding food, great service, extremely cozy (maybe 2 dozen seats?). Started with a variety of oysters (the housemade kimchi was excellent), followed by tinned tuna belly with their housemade briny jardiniere, ending with maybe the best lobster roll I've ever had (no mayo, some chili oil heat) and perfectly prepared broccolini. The broccolini was actually on the tasting menu but they were generous enough to make it as a standalone side for us because we wanted to experience enough other things. Can't say enough good things about our dinner. Cocktails and dessert were really good too, though the dinner was on a level above.“
“I can't remember my waiter but he was fantastic! I met Gordon (GM) who I told I had been there 3 times in the last handful of weeks and he showed us a lovely time. Eventually he introduced me to Jim Lutfy who let our party of 7 sample 4 desserts. Once again the pork chop and grits were amazing.“
“Popped into this cute little spot and was amazed. There is something for everyone on this menu from an extensive list of Belgian beers to an excellent list of classic and inventive cocktails and even an interesting wine list so grab your buds and come check it out. Also, I have to go back and check out their sourdough pizza which I have heard is fabulous. It doesn't happen until after six.“
“This was the best meal we had in Detroit! We were celebrating an anniversary and they really went out of their way to make it extra special. One - free bubbles, top notch appropriately attentive service (not too much not too little) and a banging wine list. We had white wine and nearly never do - both fantastic. If you are in Detroit and want to dine in a space that is truly magical while comfortable, delicious while not pretentious, and treated so well - here it is. Enjoy.“
“Love Seasons 52. Wine, apps, entrees, It’s so hard to go wrong at this restaurant. I love the crab cake appetizer, the mushroom soup is delicious and I rarely get a glass of wine I don’t like. My weakness is the dessert shots, I always need at least 2 for myself and I brung home 2-3 for my family as well!“
“OMG Dave and Amelia are the best mixologist duo. Hubby and I came across Two Birds on google and were impressed with the reviews and photos. Our first visit was nothing short of amazing filled with luxurious and herbaceous cocktails. The atmosphere and vibes in Two Birds was very refreshing. Mature crowd, great music, tasty drinks. We will definitely be coming back as regulars to this establishment. Cheers and Happy Holidays!Tasha & Chad“
“We love your restaurant and food, but we don’t like ordering online when we’re sitting in the restaurant. It’s like going through a drive through. We prefer speaking to a real person, one who is able to answer questions about the menu.“
“Enjoyed our visit here with our friends! We all had a good time, with good drinks! I enjoyed my drink with the name Belvedere in it, I can't remember the full name and my husband enjoyed the Old Fashion. They were delicious! Service was good, and our bartenders were very knowledgeable and helpful. The ambiance has a nice speakeasy lounge feel. Looking forward to going back to enjoy some wine!“
“Really cozy atmosphere, slightly rustic. Staff were great, their drinks were unique and high quality.Dietary restrictions: Plenty of mocktails for non-alcoholic drinks.Kid-friendliness: Not quite the best atmosphere for kids, it's very cozy and not a ton of options for them to enjoy“
“I have never had a bad meal at Capital Grille. Food, service and ambiance is always 5/5 here. Yes, it is expensive. Yes, they have a dress code but that is what makes it special. The care they go to to make sure you have an exceptional dining experience puts them above most other restaurants. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu and they usually have multiple daily specials. Aside from dinner we have been here for Easter and Mother's Day brunch as well. I highly recommend the lonster frittata if you come for brunch, it is excellent. You can't go wrong with their scallops or any cut of steak here. If you enjoy cocktails, they make the best espresso martini around.“
“Quaint and modern little spot. Can definitely see it livening up during the warmer months. I had a reservation for my husband’s birthday. Aperol for me and a wise and handsome for husband. Both good. We shared the steak tartare and braised beef apps. Both were delicious. Nice just and flavor with the tartare. The whipped feta with beets was smooth and delicious. I got the scallops and risotto. The risotto Nero was interesting. I don’t know if they added cheese but there was almost a smaller gelatin consistency. Scallops were nicely seared. Other main was the tagliatelle with lamb ragú. It had a nice hint of spice and the fresh pasta was evident. Dessert was a VERY rich chocolate ganache-like dessert with small malt balls on top. There was a hint of thyme which was a good contrasting flavor.“
“Exceptional Itilian dining. I am a fan of the Da Eduardo restraunts. Each one has some unique items you do not get at the others. Highly recommend.Parking: If lucky enough to get street parking, good for you. If not, private lot rates are between $10 and $100, depending on what is going on. If there is an event in the area, you will be gouged.“
“I'd give more stars if I could! The staff was amazing. We really enjoyed the food. Everything about our was visit was wonderful. I highly recommend going here!!!!Vegetarian options: Cheese and fish are on the menu as well as some appetizers that did not contain meat.“
“Really nice wine list, and couple that with the cheese plate and it's a wonderful start to a relaxing evening. Melanie was our server, and was attentive and fun. The lamb ragu, if you like pasta dishes, is a hit. The dessert choices are not extensive, but then again, the restaurant is not massive in size. I'd rather the volume of choices to be part of the entrees, and not at the finish, when I'm already full!“
“Rose latte and tomato basil soup are *cgef’s kiss* delicious. I recently visited three days in a row because of how yummy the food. It is a tiny restaurant and the prices are in the more expensive side (20% tip is factored in to the prices). There is a good amount of street “
“We had an absolutely fantastic experience here for a wine tasting. The cheese board was lovely and all of the wines we tasted were delicious. Our host was phenomenal and we truly enjoyed the entire experience. The space was cozy and inviting and well decorated.“
“At Smokys, you'll discover a haven where camaderie thrives, making it the perfect spot for both close friends and the opportunity to forge new connections. This unassuming local cigar lounge not only offers a great space to savor a meal and a smoke for aficionados but also boasts excellent ventilation, allowing even non-smokers to partake in the experience.Elliot and Lindsay see that every moment at Smokys is enjoyable, ensuring your needs are met and creating a truly comfortable retreat for all that visit.“
“Our server Brandon was amazing! He was attentive, friendly, and very professional! The food was excellent! The owner Mike came to our table and introduced himself, which was a very nice and personal touch added to the entire experience! Brandon and Andiamo made my birthday very special!“
“The Trolly Room has great food and even better service! My husband and I came to eat here after an event ended and didn’t realize the kitchen closed in 10 minutes. The wait staff was welcoming, helpful, and didn’t try to rush us. My husband and I both ordered the club sandwich with fries and it was delicious! We would definitely visit again!“
“Visiting from Pittsburgh, PA - I stopped here on Sunday for the first time. Luke was very pleasant and accommodating. The tastings were awesome. I didn't have a chance to sample any of their food but I definitely plan to come back again.“
“I'd first like to thank my Manager at my place of employment for recommending me to go. I went for the first time my husband and BFF and her husband, this past Saturday. This place was amazing good music, good wine, and the charcuterie board was good also.“
“Run here!! Their small plates are amazing, I had one of my favorite meals...ever... here! We got the calamar a la parilla, calamares fritos, gambas al aijillo, and steak con mojo. The calamar a la parilla is the best thing hands down. It was grilled to perfection, the texture was the right kind of bite, and the aioli paired with it perfectly, after trying we immediately ordered a second. The shrimp is also super good with a great spice balance, and a tasty sauce that is worth every dip into it. Their wine selection is also so vast it's great, the staff was super friendly, and the food came out very fast even though they were packed on a Friday night. I can't recommend this place enough!“
“My server informed me at the very end of my meal that the restaurant has lied to customers for over a year about having gluten free carrot cake and they have just been feeding people with intolerances gluten containing cake. So disrespectful. I got glutened after I spent $200 on my meal and was assured I had chosen gluten free dishes and precautions were being taken. Like look, I get it. Food allergies are a pain in the *ss but if you can't accommodate people with them don't lie to your customers. There are lots of other places in the metro area who do take allergies and medical conditions seriously. Way to ruin my birthday. Im going to be sick for a whole week because I have Celiac Disease. Thanks a ton.“
“Long time visitor of Pops and figured it was time to leave a review. Surprised their score isn't even higher as I've never heard anything but the best things! If you suggest to someone going to Pops for brunch, lunch, dinner, you're almost always going to get a "YES!" they specialize in pizza/pasta and easy-going Italian. It's appropriately priced compared to similar restaurants. The service is always solid. The space is big, so usually the wait isn't too bad even if it's busy. I have had some lag time during service, but not recently, so I think their staffing has likely improved. They're also great for groups and private events!Dietary restrictions: Lots of gluten-free choices/accommodations noted on the menu!“
