“Walked up and got our name on the list for brunch. They took our number and said they'd text when the table was ready. Estimated 30-minute wait, actual 40. We took the opportunity to look up the menu and reviews while waiting. Once seated, we were able to order immediately. The coffee was brought out in an insulated carafe for wxtra pours, with a side of cream. The gal who helped us also brought 2 forks out so we could share the roll. It had a fabulous crunchy outer, yet tender inside and smothered in a tangy-sweet cream cheese frosting. Next came the mains. Mine could have used some kick, but there was hot sauce available &, I suppose, it's easier to add more heat than it is to take it away. The eggs were perfectly poached & I loved the naked option. Bonus for letting me swap out potatoes for the fruit. After reading how great they were, I did expect some sort of twist, but there isn't one. Yes, they were good, just normal. I stole a few bites of bacon & it was fabulous. I'd guess they bake it to render it and get it crispy without burning it. The hubs said the chorizo hash was great. I wouldn't know cuz he didn't share! All in all, I feel like it was a great value.“

“My wife and i went in today and had lunch. We have been there many times and can’t get enough. As a chef and foodie myself i am always impressed with their offerings. We actually drove 7 hours (from Des Moines Iowa) to eat here. I don’t see what these 1 and 2 star people are talking about. Definitely a must try, support local and Eat local.Vegetarian options: Mushroom tacos, curry vegetables tacos and seasonal vegan burrito is my wife’s favorite and they have falafel tacos ???“

“Decent food, fun atmosphere, good prices. Very generous portions. Pancakes were huge! Waffles looked delicious. Service was great, and very friendly despite being busy.Parking: Not bad for the Muskegon area. There's street parking around the block and an actual parking lot area in the middle of the block.Kid-friendliness: Fun diner atmosphere and all decor seemed tasteful. No inappropriate humor or signage.“

“Great food and service. Real Italian!!! But they ran out of several items including their daily special. Cosey small but loud. Food and service outweigh physical plant. I was there to eat and talk with friends. I'll go again for sure.“

“Mr. B's Pancake House is great! Great customer service, food is greatly portioned, and tastes great! I choose this rating because if I needed a place that I can trust that will get the job done and the food right, that's where I'll go.“

“Classic Grand Haven Spot with good food and speedy service! We started with the Rangoon Appetizer which I'd definitely get again! These are not your typical mass produced Rangoons. They are special. For our dinners we got an Olive Burger and and a Perch Basket like any good West Michiganders. My wife is something of an Olive Burger expert and said it's a perfectly respectable effort and it gets the job done. She loved their ranch dressing. My perch basket was crispy and tasty with a nice light coating on the fish.Solid selection of drinks, nice atmosphere and downtown without being too downtown. This is a good spot for anybody passing through town to get dinner and drinks in a comfortable setting.“

“I love the kitsch of this place. I walked in and there was this ceramic toaster that was the cutest thing, I swear to God, my heart absolutely melted. It's like you're in between a café and a farm kitchen, and I adore that. The colors are warm and friendly and the staff is inviting. It feels magical in its own way. I can see why they moved locations into the bigger building. That whole area has got some interesting business development recently, and this is one of the "newer" businesses over here. The food isn't 100 percent, but they definitely cater to vegetarian lifestyle easily. My mom is celiac and likes their gluten free bread a lot.I think it's possible to do vegan, but there's nothing specifically vegan on the menu, which always kinds of bums me out cause you either have to compromise or make some kind of weird concoction from the menu. It's like that, you know? They do have oatmeal, which, ok, I guess you could do that vegan, I suppose. I'm not a big oatmeal person though. Maybe I'm just lacking imagination and complaining too much. They seemed pretty catering from what it seemed.I chose the French toast and hash browns the last time I was there, and it was extremely filling. They give you a lot of food.Would definitely eat there again though if for nothing else than the coffee (good solid coffee which the waitress keeps filled), the atmosphere, and the ability to ease into your morning with a full belly.Vegetarian options: They do have vegetarian options, but they're not labeled as such.“
“Stopped in here for an early dinner. Loved the selection that they had to offer! A fun set up with live music in the back and a traditional set up in the front. The staff was super helpful. One note, it was really crowded and tables are a first come first serve basis so if you have a big party, I would recommend coming at off peak hours.“

The seasoning is awesome and their ranch is craveable! I would buy it by the bottle if I could,Also they do free delivery over $18 and have the friendliest drivers!“

“I ordered online and pickup was easy and fast.I ordered Pork and Beef PT Tacos, Street Corn Nachos and Chicharonnes. The Tacos were a bit lacking but still really good. The Chicharonnes were an amazing sharable food, the flavor wasn't too over the top but still really good and pleasant. But God Damn, the Street Corn Nachos were to die for!!!! It was loaded with amazing ingredients from top to bottom! Each ingredient plays off the other. If you get one thing get the Street Corn Nachos, you will not regret it ❤️“

“Great variety of food offerings, including gluten friendly options. I enjoyed the GF fish tacos, served with refried beans and rice. I'm definitely going back!Dietary restrictions: Plenty of GF options. But the buns were dryParking: It's located in an out lot of a shopping plaza.“
“Stopped in with my wife for some beers after a walk to the beach…best part of my whole day. John the bartender was an amazing guy and the beer… called Firefly…is without a doubt the best suds I’ve ever consumed. Highly recommend this establishment for a refreshing and friendly diversion from this stress-filled world.“

“Went there for a business lunch with an associate from Grand Rapids, He usually orders light or some type of salad. He tried the meat plater and couldn't stop talking about how good it was. I have never seen this side of him. He said he would definitely be back. He called it a destination spot for dinner. Needless to say it was great.“

“I hadn't been to Odd Side Ales in years, so Nate and I stopped in and had a drink while visiting the area recently. The space is large and great for groups, with plenty of communal seating and a huge bar. They have some games available an we saw people playing cards. They have 50+ taps with all types of beer. They also serve hard slushees, wine, cider, and seltzers. We sat at the bar and had great service. Nate got a flight and I got a mimosa beer that was refreshing and delicious. The flight is always our go-to when visiting a new brewery or one we haven't been to in awhile. Nate liked all the tastes he got and I really enjoyed some of the darker specialty stouts. They don't serve food at Odd Side Ales, but you're welcome to bring food in or you can order directly from several of their local restaurant partners nearby, then they'll deliver right to your table. Odd Side Ales also houses the Side Bar coffee counter that serves lattes, hot chocolate, coffee, and smoothies and shakes. This is a family-friendly spot that seems to have something for everyone! I look forward to visiting whenever I'm in the area.“

“Years ago my family ate here the first week they opened and did not have a great experience, we all assumed it was just a growing pain but I never felt compelled to return. I'm happy to say that I tried this place again tonight and it was nothing like I remembered. The food was incredible and they had a massive selection to pick from. Plenty of no meat options as well which I didn't expect. I'm used to only having 1-2 options to choose from at places like this and was surprised to have so many choices. The wait was long as they were absolutely slammed but I felt like the staff handled it really well and kept everything running smoothly, I was impressed! (TIP: Put your name down online before you head over!) It's a little on the pricey side but if you're going to eat in Grand Haven that's the norm so I can't knock them too much for it. It's not too often I try a restaurant and it goes from a poor experience to an amazing one, so I think they've earned the 5 stars! They'll definitely be on my radar when we're thinking of places to eat going forward.“

“The food was awesome! Our server was very nice; however, we did end up waiting quite a while to pay the tab. In her defense, though, she seemed to be the only one working in that section. And she did have a big group as well. (Won't deter us from going back, though!)“
“Hundreds of Hops Stop #16 on our 2024 US hop passport self-guided tour, a weekend in Michigan. I went in expecting the Seinfeld Soup experience, brewery-style based on some reviews. WoW, I couldn't have been more wrong. We were greeted by a gal updating signs, food to the right & beer to the left. She was laughing with us, not at us, which is a great start. We ordered tacos cuz they're tacos & one should have them at every opportunity. Both were solid options with fun twists, a nice addition to our drinks. Once the food order was in, we headed to the drink counter & the gent working was quick to ask our drink preferences/dislikes & make suggestions. I didn't find staff to be off-putting at all & actually found them all to be friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the beer and the environment. We'd both come here again.“

“I had the country fried steak, American fries, wheat bread, and eggs over easy and she has the strawberry waffle. The dishes were excellent. And the service was on top of everything. We were seated quickly and the coffee never stopped getting topped off. Would recommend.“
“This place looked a bit different than your stereotypical "vineyard" but my friends and I had an awesome experience. The service was great especially for being short staffed (the woman who served my group was sharing that) and she was so kind and hospitable. The ambiance was really warm and welcoming and my group of 5 enjoyed our tastings. $12 for a tasting AND you get to keep your glass! So inexpensive and fun!“
“Nice atmosphere, many beers to try and a somewhat limited food menu. Service was friendly but slow. Our group sampled nearly all the house beer varieties in flights and ordered more of our favorites. We ordered grilled cheese sandwiches for several of us, and one person ordered a Cubano. The sandwiches were good but the only side options were potato chips or potato salad, with a $2 upcharge for potato salad. One person in our group had a Greek salad, and she said it was very good, although the dressing was very vinegary. A nice visit.“

“I'm a fan of less fancy and more wholesome, tasty lunches, and this fit the bill really well. I recommend eating here if you have a little bit of time, though it wasn't a long wait either. The inside was clean and I was greeted right away. The grinders are what made me stop in, and I was very impressed with my Chicago style grinder. It was super tasty, not too greasy, and a 9" was plenty to fill me up at lunchtime.Service was about 11 minutes and i would recommend it to anyone who likes grinders! I hear the burgers are good, and I'll try one of those next time.“

“We absolutely love coming here! Their Mexican food is the best - please try their homemade corn tortilla tacos and refried beans. Truly authentic. Everything we’ve tried is quality and their service is always top notch. Marty, the Head Chef even came out to introduce himself to us. The servers create the warm and welcoming experience and the culinary geniuses work behind the scenes to keep us coming back. And telling others!“

“What an unassuming place. From the outside, you would think it might be sketchy or scary inside. Like run down. Instead, you go inside and there is well lit and modern looking bar to an old-timey place. There's a wrap around bar. There's table seating. I've seen regulars and families in there. A juke box. Atm. Pool table. Video game machine. And fun signs on the walls. They have pub fare, good food. The wait staff has been great every time I've gone in. I really enjoyed meeting Amber on my last visit. I think it's a fun, affordable and inviting place to have meal and drinks. Totally casual. No dress code, other than wear clothes and footwear...lol It's almost five stars. But I give it four plus stars. Come check this place out! Cheers, Xiang“

“Had a bacon burger last week at my local Applebee's in Muskegon, MII had a young gentleman named Camaron who said he was new. “Great selection of their own handcrafted beers, plus seltzers and liquor, are now available. Food selections are delicious. Also, they have something happening most nights - including karaoke, trivia, bands, chess, etc.I'd also like to note that UBC is a strong supporter of local bicycling efforts. The Muskegon County Bicycling Coalition (MCBC) meets at Unruly for our weekly Tues night ride, and the MCBC also enjoys good and drink after both the Monday night Farmer's Market ride and the Tues night ride. They even give us $1 of our first drink on both nights. Additionally, they allow the MCBC to store and repair bicycles in the Unruly warehouse for the local bike libraries.“

“The service and food quality are hard to beat. I have had multiple things off the menu and never been disappointed. My personal favorite is the steak grinder. And guess what you can order a gluten free bun with any of the grinders so if you have a sensitivity that’s an option my husband takes every time and raves how amazing his is as well.“

“Small Cafe with Home-style charm. The waitresses are attentive. Food is delicious and comes out fast. The biscuits and gravy just knock it out of the park. “As someone who gets pita place through the drive-thru often, I was even more impressed by the service and food inside. It had been a while since our family dined inside. We decided to go for lunch today and there was hardly an empty table in the restaurant. Our server, Tanisha, did an exceptional job handling all of it by herself. She apologized at the end of our meal and said she was usually a much better server. As someone who has been in the food and beverage industry for nearly two decades, there was no need for an apology. If I were a restaurant owner, I would have offered her a job on the spot. Not to mention the food of being phenomenal as always, but somehow managed to be even better than it always is. Thank you Peter place for giving my famliy a great atmosphere, amazing food and spectacular service during a peak lunch on a Thursday.“

“The establishment was clean, well lit and smelled good. The seating was Intimate and wrapped around the room. Service was friendly and fast. Took 5 minutes to whip up my order. The food was hot. “This place checks all of the right boxes. Great food, big portions, eclectic setting, great staff. It isn’t a sterile cookie cutter chain, it’s built inside an older house. They don’t make places like this anymore. It’s got the history and vibe that can only come from effort & love. It’s a beautiful time machine that makes one wish their parents were still around because they would cherish it, and makes them take their kids to because it’s what dining out used to be.“

“I go too your restaurant at least once a week. And bring people with me. I sent my daughter to get me and my friend lunch there. I don't know what was put on my buger, but it wasn't good. I usually get a bacon burger with just bacon cheese and lettuce, tomato. Well I didn't received what I ordered! Next time if I to stay home I will choose another place. “Had to change my review after tonight's mess. I had made a reservation but on arrival the kid at the host station said they got busy so they gave our table away. Our server was terrible, forgot to put in my order so I sat while the rest of our table ate.She said she'd comp my meal, then replied that a reservation is just that and not a guarantee you'll have a table. Strange concept, why bother to make one then. Or let your patrons make one. Another server apologized for everything, but the damages were already done. Sad, used to be a place we enjoyed to dine at. One of the rare few available that were good on the Lakeshore. Not sure we'll be coming back if this is what can be expected.“
