The atmosphere is perfect for a fancy date. Very romantic setting to impress. I don't drink alcohol and they had an alcohol free 0% Giasen Merlot which was exquisite. I started with French Onion Soup and Cheese Popover Muffins. For an entree, I had Australian Rib Lamb Chops with a Mint Demi Glase. For a side, I enjoyed Brussels Sprouts with Honey Dijon Mustard Sause. Everything exceeded my expectations and the Merlot paired nicely with the Lamb Chops. I highly recommend the Chop House as a must visit dining destination in the heart of Grand Rapids.”

We didn't realize that our favorite thing there wasn't popular enough to retain as a menu item when Leo's changed hands. “Frequently meet friends and have some of the best brunch in the city. Always busy but for a reason, and the service and hospitality which are already top notch, do not suffer. An example of this is when they bring you your food they remember who ordered which plate. This is one of those underrated hospitality things they do that other establishments don’t reach. “I had such a great experience at Crumbl cookies today.
It was my cheat day for the month and I had been CRAVING. A soft cookie. I decided on Crumbl since it had been a while.
I went in and the store was clean, everyone seemed to be in a good mood, and the employee that helped me was really nice. I didn’t know what flavor to get and I didn’t want to get something and be disappointed, and jokingly told the employee that it would literally ruin my whole day if I took a risk and ended up not liking it. 💀🤣 which I mean is kind of true. So I asked which one was his favorite which was the Oreo one. I got it, waited maybe two minutes. And then a different employee handed me my cookie with a big smile on her face! I told her necklace was so pretty! Because it reminded me of lord of the rings.
Anyway, When I got to the car I opened the box, snapped a pic for the gram, then took a bite. It was SO good!!!! 😊😭🩷
10/10 will return for my next cheat day.

The ordering was easy and they were super friendly to work with. I ordered 15 dozen in addition to donut holes. They were delicious and beautiful. They gave us a large variety and it was all ready on time. I am so happy we ordered from here. Couldn’t be happier with the process. We definitely found our new donut place.”

The bread was the best ever (toasted perfectly) and crunchy, and it wasn't to cheesy (some places put too much cheese which makes it messy) with just enough pepper jelly to create an original experience; and one of my favorite sandwiches of my life. The salad was the low point of the meal as it was merely perfect. We also got a chocolate croissant which was great and a pot de creme which was decadent and..can I say perfect again. They don't take reservations, so it was going to be a challenge finding a table for our group of 6. The owner heard the staff struggling to find us an available table. He jumped in and found a solution. He personally asked a couple that was seated at a large table if they would be willing to move. They graciously accepted to make room for us. This level of customer service has obviously been trained into the entire staff because our waiter was the most helpful and hospitable server I've ever encountered. Firstly, he was extremely knowledgeable of food and drink menu, helping us to navigate it superbly. He also got the entire restaurant to sing "Happy Birthday" with us when it was time for dessert. The food and drinks were top notch, but the customer service was out of this world. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to the Brass Ring. You will not be disappointed!”

“After traveling to Japan and living in California for a number of years, I’ve had some of the best ramen and I would say Noodlepig is nailing it and quickly became one of the best IMO. Amazing experience and authentic ramen. I would expect to see this place to be in a big city. They have a noodle room where you can see the magic all happen. Also love that they feed hungry kids with every bowl sold. Recently tried the mazemen (soupless ramen) and karaage chicken, also amazing!”

They are so friendly and happy to see us each time we visit. They work so well as a team each helping each other out. The subs are extraordinary good, only one of the reasons we keep going back. “We had a group of 7 for bocce and dinner. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! Like no other restaurant in Grand Rapids. The bocce court was so well run and beautiful. The entire space is just phenomenal. The food was delicious. Jacobsons cheese soup made my heart happy. The entertainment while you eat was such an extra bonus and the artists are engaging and fun! I can not recommend this place enough. I travel a lot, especially around the Midwest and all over Michigan, and I’ve got to say this is hands-down the best Tropical Smoothie I’ve ever been to. It’s super clean, smells amazing (even the bathroom!), and the food always comes out fast and exactly right. The girls who work here are so friendly and upbeat—it really makes the place feel welcoming.

Even if it’s a few extra minutes out of my way, I’ll always choose this location. Seriously, bravo to this team!”

I’ve been here many times; I always end up learning something new with each visit. The service has generally been good; most of the staff don’t really interact much with customers. Still, there’s usually at least one person who greets you, which is nice.

Since this location is not corporate owned, you can’t use Starbucks promotional codes or participate in certain campaigns such as the free red cup event. Funny enough, I was able to use app codes here in the past both online and in person; it seems management has since changed the policy. Who knows. Either way, you can still use codes when ordering directly through the app.

This store is also cashless; they only accept card payments. They don’t take PayPal directly; if you load money onto a Starbucks card through the app, they’ll accept it. It’s just how their system works.

One time, I accidentally placed an order at the wrong location; they still went ahead and made my drink anyway, which I really appreciated. I also learned that any drinks not picked up within 15 minutes are thrown away.

The store itself is usually clean; the bathrooms are also clean. There’s a small bookshelf where you can take or leave a book for others, which is a thoughtful touch.

Parking can be a bit tricky. There are a few free spots directly in front of the store for 15 minutes; one spot is reserved for first responders. The rest of the parking is not free; the university parking staff do check often and issue tickets. There’s an app available for paid parking.

Overall, this location has its quirks; I hope this review covers everything you might want to know before visiting.”

“Shout out to Eric. He was the bartender (supervisor too?) here. Super personable guy. Made me feel extremely welcome and comfortable while waiting on my delayed flight. Great sense of humor. Really great having him.

The food was delicious. I had a chili-crisp hummus and a chicken bacon flatbread. The former was a combination that I didn't expect, but it was great. and a chicken bacon flatbread.

The drinks were good too. Nice and chill. The customer service by Eric was superb.”
