“What a lovely dining experience! The food was fresh, and so generously portioned! Delicious flavors. We enjoyed our kabobs and the saffron rice; one of our party got the chicken sandwich wrap which was out-of-this-world delicious! The lentil tomato soup was also lovely— warm flavors and a big bowl to enjoy. The bread and the dipping sauce (cucumber??) before the meal was also wonderful— we devoured every last bit. Yum!!! My favorite personally was the baklava, which was delicate, flaky, packed with filling and perfectly balanced. No gooey, syrupy baklava here— just perfection. I cant wait to order a chicken sandwich and piece of baklava again soon! (Ooh, and we had PLENTY to take home— bring your appetite). Gorgeous atmosphere and a really kind, hospitable staff — from the owner to our server, everyone made us feel right at home. “As someone with celiac, this place is a beacon of hope. It's so nice to never have to worry about being contaminated. Even if you aren't a mutant like me and can eat gluten, the food here is delicious despite being gluten free. It's not just "oh that's good for being gluten free", it's just good. Period. “Within Grand Rapids, The Cheese Lady is the closest to gourmet vegan cheese to be found. They usually have multiple options of vegan cheeses with varying style, flavors, and textures. It is not the widest selection of vegan cheeses I have seen at a fromagerie, but I am very thankful for the vegan options they have. Depending on availability, they usually have 3 to 5 cheese options. Speaking with the cashier, she shared that the vegan cheeses are regionally crafted within Michigan, but not in-house. Regardless, the vegan options are rotating and fresh because of them being locally sourced. It is nice to see new options when I visit, and it is nice that they allow sampling of all the flavors. “Found the cooking class from a local magazine suggestion. Went online to the website and reviewed all the classes we chose pasta 101 . Called, paid up front and classes were booked out 3 weeks. We chose a Sunday afternoon. The town is very eclectic where this restaurant storefront is located at. Parking is available but it's very compact. We had a large truck so finding parking was a bit challenging. This is a store location but also a cooking location. So when you walk in, you are able to purchase pastas, cheeses, wines, olive oil, many options are available if you did not book a class. Hopefully we did. When we were greeted we were provided with a wine liquor menu to start. This is also an option even if you are just shopping. The location is clean, well decorated, bright, smelled wonderful and overall very aesthetically pleasing to the eye. WOW! What a great interactive experience. We bought the class for two and when we arrived we had the class and the instructor all to ourselves. So it definitely made for a personal experience. Extremely pleased with the environment, all the attention to detail and friendly personalities. Bianca was knowledgeable, fun to learn from, helpful, and thorough on how to make the most out of pasta. Everything we made we were able eat or take it home if we couldn't finish. We were taught how to make a caprese salad. Then we were given space and time to eat. Then we were brought back and taught how to make ravioli stuff with cheese. Then we're giving the time and space to eat it. It was an overall wonderful dining experience. Great for many varieties of date night ideas, anniversary, bachelorette parties or even team building experience. The cost might seem expensive but for The quality of care, ingredients and time I highly recommend.“

“We had to make a trip to GR for an overnight stay and looked around for a good pizza place for a delivery dinner. We came across Gino's and saw the reviews and had to try it. When I called, the owner himself answered the phone. He was very caring and you could just tell that he loves his business and his customers. We ordered two pizzas and a cheesy breadstick to be delivered. They have very reasonable prices and the food was absolutely awesome! I highly recommend Gino's if you are looking for good food and good people. Have a blessed day!“

We estimated for 2 bundtinis per person and it was the perfect amount! Their cakes are always so delicious and our guests loved having the choice of different flavors. Our cutting cake was an 8" bundt cake with the drizzle frosting...so beautiful with some flowers in the center! Can't say enough good things about this experience with them for our wedding!“
“Casual, chatty vibes with good music playing. Service was good (nothing exceptional). It gets busy during brunch time (but if there is a wait, you can comfortably be indoors while you do). The kitchen line is visible from dining area and you will smell like it if you sit near it.Overall the food was enjoyable. Party tried the empanadas, traditional breakfast, and an omelette with chicken sausage. The breakfast potatoes were old (they must cook in batches and not refresh before serving) but everything else was tasty. The homemade jam is really yummy. They have a lot of options for coffee, mimosas, and Bloody Marys. (They do charge a 3% “fee” added to every bill.) There is a parking lot behind the restaurant but it can fill up quick.“

“The quality of the food is always top of the line. The beef melted in your mouth. The shrimp bisque, delicious. The kitchen forgot to put the blue cheese on my salad & there was little if any dressing on it... it was beautifully arranged though (a work of art!) Oh! the fresh mozzarella appetizer left us wanting more! & the smoked risotto was delicious & a cool experience (how did they do that!) The homemade bread, crusty outside & soft inside; perfect. And as always the flavored butters are a treat. This was the first day for these students, so they were a bit nervous. & we waited a bit for our left overs to come out. But all in all, we love coming here, for the food & the students!“

“Beautiful spot near the river. The food is incredible. Some of the best wings I've had recently. Dry rubbed and seasoned after smoking then dropping in a fryer. It's my favorite way for wings. The shrimp Po'Boy was good, but nothing that made it stand out against others I have. Needed more spice or a hot sauce maybe. But the season fries were the real center piece. I'm not normally a fry guy by nature, but I've never had seasoned fries this good. Not even close.The beers were delicious. It's hard to find such great Fruited sours lightly tart and so sweet. Exceptional. Sampled a couple of others, lots of flavor in the beers we got.Only real critique is the bar/ordering set up. If we are to go to the bar and order our own food and drink, it shouldn't be at the end of the bar far from the taps. While also being near the door. I watched confused faces all day, and it really gummed up traffic at times. Curious to why this set up wasn't run at the middle of the bar like what I've seen at other breweries. “I called Sara’s Sweets on a Thursday afternoon and they told me they could have a cake ready by Saturday morning at 10 am. It was simple, a white cake with white buttercream frosting and shredded coconut on the outside and a little “Happy Birthday” on the board in purple. They created the perfect cake for my mom’s birthday. We were in from out of town and it was the icing on the cake (literally) to her birthday. The cake designer went above and beyond to make not only the cake perfect but also our experience. He was friendly, and clearly has a passion for what he does. Thank you for such a great experience.“

I showed her the main picture of the cafe on Google maps to lure her with me. We were quite disappointed when we got to the place. The picture was nowhere close to what they offered now. It would not have mattered if they had those desserts anyways. There was no seating available inside since most tables were 4-person tables occupied by one person each. It looks as if they don't seem to want more customers. They can accommodate more people by converting some of their large tables to one or two-person tables.“

It is a weird texture because it seems to be a fake egg which is not what is advertised. It threw off the texture and taste of the rest of the sandwich which is disappointing because everything else was very good including the coffee. Would visit again but not for breakfast food.“
“BEST gluten free cookies I've EVER had. No joke. They are so dense and soft and chewy with amazing flavor without being super sweet, like most gluten free cookies out there. I tried them from a box at work and had to order my own box for Easter! The Lemon one is my favorite and I'm excited to try the other flavors! Very impressed with the fast shipping as well.
