“Just doing u.s.c.g. vessel exams at the yacht club had a great lunch. Nice cold water 👍 and good hot coffee. If you have never been in the military you wouldn't understand about hot coffee or cold water. I been to El Mar,OPM, Seaway,GBY,Da Mark. My place at GLSBC, the team will be at Trout, Ford,Swan Creek and a couple of other. So if you want a vessel exam call the Trenton coast guard Auxiliary. Remember safe boatings is all the time“

“It got a better rating because of nostalgia. I loved coming here to meet friends because I lived here. If I could get the pizza everyday that would be nice. ? they can randomly be closed or not serving a dish u had the day before. But I still love coming here. It's a quiet place to hide in a loud world.“

“We had a wonderful meal before visiting the Boars Head festival thing. I had the broiled pork chops they were thick and juicy. One of the people in our part had whitefish and said it was excellent. “disappointing birthday celebration. our most recent trip was a disappointment. our service was slow which isn't usually a big deal for us, but we were there for 2 hours and left without our birthday dessert in order for us to get to our show afterward. 2 hours should have been plenty of time for meals plus birthday dessert, and it usually is, but this time they fell short of expectations. hopefully they do better next time.“

“Been here only one time as a roadie for my friends band for a local 3 band show and was very impressed by the great sounds provided by the sound guy, great equipment for making the bands sounding big, good beers, lots of cool people who support local music and looking forward to going there more often to play on my band as well as see other bands! “My bartender, think his name was Jack, absolutely a gem. My partner and I have OCD and we are super anxious about it. Jack was so patient with us and nice about everything. Atmosphere is so cute and nice with heated outdoor patio area. I'm a regular at the Corktown one. This one is super cute. Great date spot or for family gatherings, or just drinking by yourself and catching up on emails. Ask for Jack. He's a total sweetheart and stand-up dude.“

The waitress was a little grumpy, but everyone has a bad day. Service was still very good, but no service with a smile. It was very busy though so she did not have a lot of time to be friendly.Burgers were outstanding and Enchaladas were huge and delicious. Great fries too. Patrons were just normal people having a nice time. Good Folk.Parking: The tiny lot fills up fast, there is some street parking in the little neighborhood. There is a fitness center that is closed at night - not likely to get towed there.“

“Anybody reading this, my mamaw was the barmaid there beginning in the 60s. Annie Ruth Ladd. They also lived above the bar for some time. My mother told me that she vividly remembers looking out the window and seeing the National guard going down Jefferson into Detroit. At that time, she was 9 years old. My mother grew up to work in the bar. Her name is Roseann or Rosie. I spent lots of my youth there, playing quarter machines. Rosie Also worked Square Deal. The hamburgers are very good and the crack fries are delicious.Wheelchair accessibility: It's very easy to get in the door and maneuver around the tables and bar but the bathroom is definitely not accessible. There's barely enough room for a mobile person to get into the stall a walker won't fit and a wheelchair is a definite no-go.“

“The bartender slash waitress was very nice, the wife and I were in there before 4:00pm so it was quiet.I had the grizzly burger. It was well flavored and tasty.I didn’t care for the liquid cheese on the burger.My wife had a nicely done chicken sandwich and French fries as I did.I thought the fries were very good.Clean inside and out, small place not for big crowds my opinion.I recommend this establishment.“

“Cool little place. It has sort of an old saloon feel to it. There is not a lot of room, but there is a smoking area that's screened in. There are also pool tables in another area.I came in here for just the 2nd time the other day. I ordered a tequila mixed drink and then a beer. The price was pretty good. Keep in mind, that other than salty snacks, there is no food.Overall, this place is good for getting a shot and a beer. It's pretty reasonably priced and has kind of an old saloon vibe.“

“Welcoming neighborhood bar. It's got that old "dive bar" feel, which makes for a cool vibe. Their is a pool table to keep people entertained, along with some other games in the back.They do not serve food, aside from bagged chips and nuts. Their beer is cheap as well. To go along with that neighborhood bar feel, the bar is located on a residential side street, which I assume would make the bar Grandfathered in, due to zoning laws. But it's kind of nice having a neighborhood bar off of the the main drag.Overall, the place is worth the visit.“

“My fiancé and I came here with a friend when the lions played Monday night football. They had 1 single waitress and the place was packed. She was running around like a chicken with her head cut off, we felt awful for her. She didn’t even get a second to breathe. She was super nice and surprisingly attentive considering the amount of tables she had and how busy she was, but they really should at least have 2 people waiting on tables at night. The only issue I had was how hard this poor waitress was working“

“Stopped in for Taco Tuesday. Sat at the bar and was greeted by Nicole. She explained the taco specials ($1.99 tacos and $3.99 taco salad). I ordered 3 beef tacos and my wife ordered the taco salad.My tacos were so full and tasty that I was full after the 3 I ordered. My wires taco salad was also filling according to her. The clientele were very friendly.I would highly recommend this place. We will be returning next Tuesday for more great tacos!“

“Great place! The beer was very tasty and the service was wonderful, very friendly staff and super cool interior with garage doors. There is also a nice outdoor space with a BBQ food truck. Inside they have a popcorn machine that is self serve. The merch is also very cool! FYI there are no TVs in here so not somewhere to go if you're looking to watch the game.“
