“DISCLAIMER: I WILL L LEAVE OUT MY OPINION ABOUT THE FOOD BECAUSE WHEN I ATE THERE, I WAS COMING DOWN WITH A SINUS INFECTION. THAT CAN ALTER HOW THINGS TASTE.Coney with a small town diner feel. This is one of those places where you just know most of their daily business is from the community, and the staff probably knows most of the customers names.My waitress was named Julia and she was both witty and pleasant. The service was extremely quick and cashing out was a breeze.I must go back and visit again in a few weeks. I will update this soon.“

“We had a wonderful meal before visiting the Boars Head festival thing. I had the broiled pork chops they were thick and juicy. One of the people in our part had whitefish and said it was excellent. It's fancy place but you don't need a suit to feel comfortable with that crowd. I hope to dine there again!!!“

“Classic diner experience, good atmosphere. Waiters and waitresses are kind and attentive. Got a regular coney, made deluxe with the fries and coleslaw. Slaw was on point, good flavor and tasted fresh. Fries were fine, nothing to write home about but great portion size. Coney was great, the chili is flavorfu land the Frankfurt was good. It's messy, but delicious. Paid 5.29 before tax, great deal as it's a whole meal for that much. Will be coming back!“

“I had decided to stop here, at the last minute for a beverage and a snack on my way home, as I didn't have the best day. I was greeted with a smile and a hello. I sat at the bar, and Mindy, the bartender, took care of me. She was most pleasant and cheerful, and though she was busy, she made everyone including me feel like they were the only customer she had. I ended up staying longer than I had planned, this is by far the best experience I've had at Applebee's, thanks to Mindy who turned my less than stellar day 180° and ended it way better than it started. “God gave me food when I was hungry. I went to Harvey's on Dougal road, and asked if they still do a free pie for a Google review. They said yes. They asked " would you like to order anything?" I said "No, but I am hungry, that is why I am doing this review, to get the pie." Then she gave me a bag, and I sat down and looked inside, and there was 2 pies, and fries! She gave me extra food. “Great tavern/dive bar experience. Been a few times now and every time had a good experience.Drink prices are very fair and great selection of brews and cocktails. Standard ales and brews with some IPA's mixed in along with a variety of mixed cocktails including local specials.The food has always been on point. My absolute favorite so far has been a cup of clam chowder and plate of fresh fried fish and fries. Not fried in overused butter nasty oil. Light crispy white fish and hand cut seasoned fries were great with a Sam Adams.Also had good ol'e standard American cheeseburger and was very well made. Perfect grill patty with standard fixings was right on point. Wife has had salads along with a chicken wrap and I have to say all looked and according to her tasted as good as my meals.Always clean floors and atmosphere is welcoming. “At Gojo's Grub House, the zip burger is a real treat. Packed with swiss cheese, bacon, onion, garlic mayo, and their special zip sauce, it's bursting with flavor. The burgers are big and satisfying, and the fresh lettuce and onion add a nice crunch. And that zip sauce is amazing. If you're craving a tasty burger, Gojo's Grub House won't disappoint.“

“I placed a pickup order and was told 15 minutes. When I arrived, the restaurant was packed with people waiting to be seated. I thought I was going to have to wait a little longer for my food but..... Nope! Not only was my food ready when I was told, it was spot on as usual!! By far the best diner downriver!!“

I have had some minor customer service issues like needing to ask to have tables cleaned and forks not being stocked (you have to grab your own and when they are out you’re stuck with food getting cold) but they have always been resolved with a smile.“

“This Texas roadhouse is great! This one was packed but they got us in quick. There is a sign out front with a QR code to check in, use it! We checked in and sat in the car for the wait, then got a Tex that they were ready. This one does the line dancing. They have awesome stuff just such a good experience.“

“My bartender, think his name was Jack, absolutely a gem. My partner and I have OCD and we are super anxious about it. Jack was so patient with us and nice about everything. Atmosphere is so cute and nice with heated outdoor patio area. I'm a regular at the Corktown one. This one is super cute. Great date spot or for family gatherings, or just drinking by yourself and catching up on emails. Ask for Jack. He's a total sweetheart and stand-up dude.“

“My husband and I checked this out for lunch recently. The menu choices are well displayed for easy ordering. The server/order taker was knowledgeable about the menu and very helpful and friendly. We both got the #3 - 2 chicken fingers and choice of one slider. He got the angus beef slider. I got the big saavy signature slider with the 2 chicken fingers. Fries were crispy and hot. The big saavy slider was so filling, I’d recommend it for people with big appetites. It was almost a meal in itself for me. We didn’t get any shakes, but they all looked amazing. A steady stream of customers came in. A lot of the customers were carry outs. A few customers ate in (like we did). Dining room is super clean, well lit. We definitely recommend this place and look forward to going back.“

We arrived with an hour left before they closed, but we were never rushed through ordering, and they didn't make us feel like we couldn't order certain things. I ordered the chicken and waffles, and the seasoning on the chicken was so good, and it was perfectly crispy. The chicken strips were very big, too. My children ordered Mickey Mouse pancakes, and the very sweet waitress made a smiley face with whipped cream (after asking permission). For dessert, we ordered the almond joy cake and it was delicious! My daughter and I can't wait to go back and get more! While we were waiting for our did, the waitress recognized that my toddler was getting fussy, so she brought over soup crackers and coloring books and crayons. “I retired from BASF and had lunch here often and it was consistently very good. I went recently for dinner and the food and atmosphere was as remembered. I had to knock the service a little for being slow but in their defense I was in a group of 11.Parking: Parking on the street is best but very limited. There is a large lot in the back.“

We had 4 pot pies homemade the beef one is called a Shepard's pie and 3 chicken pies.They were alot better than anything you buy in the frozen isle that's for sure and you get a hefty amount for the price 4 pot pies fed 6 people. “My husband and I had our wedding ceremony and reception at the Lakes of Taylor Golf Club on June 24, 2023. We were thrilled with how friendly and accommodating all of the staff was during our wedding day. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how the food was delicious and how they loved talking to our bartenders. The venue also accommodated some of our guest's dietary restrictions and our bar menu. We planned our event with Debbie. She was helpful and organized. She couldn't make it on our special day, so Nancy filled in during our rehearsal and wedding day. Nancy was also very helpful, accommodating, and kind. The ceremony space was beautiful! It included an arch with white flowers and greenery draped over it. Our only complaint was how hot the reception hall was. Some of the guests said they were comfortable with the temperature. It was a very hot and humid day outside. The building is a little bit older so it was difficult to regulate the temperature. Overall, the Lakes of Taylor Golf Club was the perfect venue for our wedding. Our package included two entrees at the buffet, a wedding cake, table linens, and bar. The price was perfect for everything included in our package. The location is close to the airport and great for having a ceremony/reception at the same venue. We couldn't be happier with our choice!“

“We're semi-regulars here, as there's limited local options. We always have good service from wait staff. The food is usually 'good', not great. Excellent coffee-not motor-oil dark like most diners. I personally love the encrusted French toast. The cost of the food is high, but not outrageous. The restrooms need some attention. Lastly, like many local diners are starting to do--expect to get the gouge for using your credit card to pay. Which for @ 80% of Americans, that's how we conduct sales transactions anymore. Annoying beyond description, dare I state the obvious?: the credit card processing cost is ALREADY built into the pricing structure for the food here. Hence the prices. Gouging the customers who use a credit card to pay for their meal with an additional 3-4% is outlandish. Why doesn't the owner offer a 'cash discount' of 3-4%, and forego the credit card fee instead? Overall, I recommend going here. I like it, but I don't love it. The personal service of several of the long-term waitresses alone is worth the visit.“

“This place is a big surprise. Looks like a dumpy neighborhood bar from the outside. Stuck in a small factory village but the factory is long gone. Not much parking available so we expected it to be completely full.Inside: more room than expected. Nicer than expected. Awesome food (bar food - burgers and fish and enchaldas). This was the biggest surprise. Simply did not expect food this good here. Good beer choices too. A variety of local (Michigan) craft beers on tap. The waitress was a little grumpy, but everyone has a bad day. Service was still very good, but no service with a smile. It was very busy though so she did not have a lot of time to be friendly.Burgers were outstanding and Enchaladas were huge and delicious. Great fries too. Patrons were just normal people having a nice time. Good Folk.Parking: The tiny lot fills up fast, there is some street parking in the little neighborhood.
