“I’ve lived in the area for two years but never got around to trying Red Crown until last night. I really wish I hadn’t waited that long!! Food, drinks and service were all awesome. Even the free chips were outstanding. I got the mushroom, vegan chorizo and chicken tacos. Mushroom and chicken were amazing. Vegan chorizo needed a little bit of extra flavor but still very good. Horchata was delicious. Got a veggie quesadilla to go and it was so good heated up this morning. I can’t wait to go back!“

“We came here for our anniversary and had a good experience. I loved the staycation cocktail, the calamari and the the sea scallops were the best I’ve ever had. Sadly the lamb appetizer was over cooked and the prime rib was chewy. Not great. It was also served with burnt hummus. Our waitress was good to me but seemed irritated with us that the steak wasn’t great. We won’t be rushing back any time soon. But we love Detroit and trying new restaurants.“

“Oh MAN Rocco's is the place I have searched for in vain until last year when I tried them for the first time. Since that first meatball sub I have had almost every sandwich on the menu and so far not one has disappointed! Today I had the Corner Deli and was transported to Italian paradiso! In case you non-Italians did not know, ciabatta is the Italian baguette and Rocco's bakes many fresh loaves several times per day! Usually it is still warm from the oven even if you get a cold sandwich! There is no better sandwich bread in my progenic-Italian opinion! They are in Midtown on Cass just East of Mack. Try them if you have yet to do so. You will thank the gods!“

“We were a party of six and we wanted to try everything! We drank and ate plenty. The staff was friendly, the food was excellent and the entertainment was certainly entertaining. My sister got a surprise birthday song and cheesecake that was so good. The winners were the kielbasa soup, the schnitzel and smoked kielbasa .“

“We had not been to the Caucus Club in 40 years. We will not wait that long to return. An exceptional dinner. The room is elegant and very comfortable. The tables are nicely spaced so you are never too close to your fellow diners. Antonio was our waiter and the service was excellent - half empty glasses immediately refilled and dirty dishes quickly removed. Antonio prepared a table side Caesar salad that was both light and delicious. I had scallops and my wife had chicken Scallopini. The scallops were perfectly cooked and my wife said it was the best chicken she remembers eating. For desert my wife had a chocolate torte that was otherworldly. Just a fantastic dinner. Unbeknownst to us, a jazz trio plays on Saturday evenings - a piano, stand up bass and drum. They were excellent and the music truly elevated the experience. We stayed an extra 20 minutes just listening to the trio. All the way home we talked about how wonderful our evening had been. Great food, fantastic service, elegant room, soulful jazz and a warm, comfortable ambience = exceptional evening. My new favorite restaurant.“

“First time in this cozy little place. Booth seating to one side and a bar on the other. It's got a cool eclectic vibe, very clean. We were promptly sat and a server was there with menus and water and took our drink order. The menu is small but covers all the bases nicely. The chips arrived hot and the salsa made in house while we waited for our food which wasn't long. Nothing pretentious going on here just solid well prepared and fresh. Portions were generous and the prices fair. We've found another little gem! I would have given 4.5 stars simply for the fact that the dusty musty 70s one hit wonder ambient music included the theme from Greatest American Hero. “I love the Green Room. Who doesn't love a salad bar? Lots of fresh toppings and I don't have to leave the Guardian Building on rainy days. So convenient! They have a ton of rotating soups and they're delicious. I had the artichoke lemon rice yesterday, which is vegan, and it was so so good. I could eat this soup every day. Light, lemony, savory and satisfying. The staff is friendly and helpful and if you go in before noon, you can get lunch in under 5 minutes.“

It's in a very old mostly abandoned industrial part of the city along the Detroit River, made better by nice new development nearby, adjoining a portion of the beautiful Detroit River Walk, and on a strip near the Atwater Grill with other businesses. “While in Detroit I found this excellent Mexican restaurant. The service, the decor, the music and the food were all top tier. The chilaquiles with a couple fried eggs and beans with a little cotija cheese were screaming! Very authentic like mom use to make lol. The chicharrones were absolutely fire. “The pizza was very well prepared, not over cooked at all, and they have a nicely varied menu. They also have a gluten free option, which we often take advantage of, and it doesn't taste any different than a regular crust. The staff are fast and friendly, and the pizzeria is very clean. The atmosphere is not too bright, the building takes advantage of their large windows, which provides the majority of the lighting. If I could have given the place more than five stars, I would have.“

“It was okay. It had been really hyped up so I was expecting more than what I got. What I had was very average. Average isn’t bad, it’s just not amazing. It’s definitely worth trying. “The best middle eastern food anywhere in southeastern Michigan. It's even better than my family's authentic cooking (but don't tell them). Right when you walk in you're treated like family. All of their food is amazing. I especially love their eggplant boats, grape leaves, stuffed squash, mujadara, and platters. They have the best garlic sauce and amazing shawarma. Also Wednesday nights they have dinner specials that you can preorder that are a must try! I usually order one and have enough food for my 5 year old daughter and I to have dinner and leftovers. They offer lots of gluten free foods including preordered meat and spinach pies and are very knowledgeable about gluten free since their son is gluten free. I highly recommend checking them out! “I ordered from the place for the first time. The food was really good and tasted the way those dishes were supposed to. I really liked the atmosphere as well. Nice place to sit down and eat. Good to see a fusion restaurant in warren.I see some people complaining that the chicken was dry but to tell you the truth that's an issue with a lot of Mediterranean restaurants I have been to, even the really fancy ones. Unless you tell them to cook the chicken medium rare or medium they tend to cook it well done.They can maybe add a little bit more salt to the chicken though.Their portions are not the largest but since the prices are relatively low you can always pay a little extra to have the portions increased.Let's also see if they add more items on their menu. I would love to see more fusion items. I know they are new so they probably don't want to clutter their menu with too many things right now.“

The picture on their website shows this dish with red pepper and green vegetables in it…our dish had only cheap cabbage. I had eaten at their Niagara Falls location only 2 weeks ago and was so impressed with it that I ordered it here. “I’ve been to this location twice now. I’m not sure what their name is, but they have blonde hair with a shaved side. They’ve taken my order both times quickly and kindly. They’re also always sure to ask what extras I’d like before handing me my meal. The environment is always clean/tidy and I love the sandwiches.
