“Solid neighborhood American-style Chinese food at a reasonable price. Food is always tasty and fresh. We're not a huge fan of the flavor-profile on the egg rolls, but that's more of a taste preference than a real complaint. The staff is very friendly and pick up time given is always accurate.“

“We had dinner at Kona last night in Tecumseh on the rooftop. We had a fantastic meal and the service was great, considering there was only one wait staff up there. He did a wonderful job. My only complaint would be the seating. They are funky looking chairs, but they’re SOOOO uncomfortable. I’m 5’6 and the seat was way too deep!! Forces you to sit perched forward, which is really uncomfortable. And the seats are so hard I actually had a very sore tailbone. Other than that it was GREAT!!!!“

“I really enjoyed my appetizers, the Spicy Tofu Bites and the Pork Gyoza. Each was full of distinct flavors, with great textures too. My college age freshman also enjoyed the giant bowl of Mushroom Miso Ramen. This experience for a quick lunch was exceptional. The accommodations were stylish and comfortable sans the cold air duct making me a bit cold over the table we sat at. The staff was kind and gave us time to look at the varying menu. An overall wonderful meal.“

“Quick sushi has quickly become my favorite sushi place in Windsor. Everything is fresh and delicious and the owners/ chef are so kind. My new favorite is their new roll " the white house " I also love the torch pressed sushi ( all of them ) , the spice of life and the crispy eel. But you really can't go wrong with any of them.“

Not only is the food delicious (kind of the most important part) but the service and employees are so nice and professional! We are from out of town but boy we wish we lived here .... “I really enjoyed my birthday dinner here. Our waitress checked on us often. We were greeted with a smile and heartfelt customer service. The ambiance is so unique, it’s incredible. You can tell they take pride in the small details. The only thing was that the food portions weren’t enough to get full off of. But that’s common for this type of cuisine“

“I was excited about a Japanese restaurant in the city of Detroit.The fried chicken and edamame were delicious, but the other robatayaki and seafood dishes had a smell, which I don't know if they were using old ingredients or transfer from the refrigerator smell, I was disappointed.They should store food properly...I was even more disappointed because their service and restaurant atmosphere was really great.“

“Food was delicious! Lives up to the “best Chinese in midtown” quo! Everything was satisfying and the service was amazing! Will definitely be coming back here upon revisiting the city! If you’re a veggie lover I recommend the lettuce wraps! Also the dim sum is awesome! So much fun and variety! Lots of yummy things to try!!! 10/10Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options to choose from! You also have the option to make the curry dishes vegetarian as well. There were also some vegetarian options on the dim sum menu! As well as vegetarian sushi options!!“

“First time here and it was good. The only issue we had was the tempura on our sushi wasn’t cooked enough and was doughy. The bulgogi was really good as was the fried noodles with chicken. I will say the portions were a bit small for the bulgogi and fried noodle dishes. Did not have leftovers like we do at other Thai or Chinese restaurants. We will still come back and try other dishes.“

“We ordered food for delivery on a Friday night from the Windsor location. The lemon chicken was pretty good, but the chicken fried rice was very plain with bean sprouts, a sprinkle of chopped green onion, egg and tiny bits of chicken in it. All 3 dishes were almost the same colour. The Shanghai noodles were very disappointing. The picture on their website shows this dish with red pepper and green vegetables in it…our dish had only cheap cabbage. I had eaten at their Niagara Falls location only 2 weeks ago and was so impressed with it that I ordered it here. I guess next time I will have to ask for this dish to be prepared the same way they do for their buffet. Food arrived hot and in less time than expected.“

“My husband and I have been here before but went for a quick snack before a show at the casino. We got the Lola roll and the Crab California. My husband got the Negroni. Drink was to be expected - good but nothing world changing. The sushi was surprisingly really good quality. Much better than Kona and Nico - which is where we go being from Tecumseh. The Lola had two fried items but lightly dusted and not seeping with oil. The crab meat was a higher quality and fish was fresh! Our only complaint - and this was probably just the day - we went on home opening day and it was full of belligerent drunk people - YELLING to the point the three tables around us quickly scarfed down our food because we couldn’t hear our dates and it was all a bit overwhelming. The place is small and narrow or this might not be an issue. AGAIN, in the past it’s super calm and actually a great date night so just choose your night to go wisely as it can get rowdy at 5:30 on a Friday night haha. Staff was friendly and place was dark - but clean! Check them out - their sliders are also great but we were in a rush and wanted something light before our show so we stuck to sushi. They’ve got a fun menu so check them out!“

“Maru is a trendy restaurant with a lot of space. It was dead on a Wednesday night. I was able to find paid street parking around the corner without too much hassle. I ordered the strawberry basil lemonade mocktail and found it to be too sweet. The hibachi chicken was good but the rice was a little too salty. I liked the yum yum sauce and the large veggie portion. The service was good.“
