I was on a trip from Shelby Twp library. I really liked the atmosphere, it was like stepping into a Polish restaurant that I remembered as a kid. Sorry about the food rating but you were up against my mother's cooking.
I tried to dine one day and they refused to let in and they said it’s only for polish people and I was shocked that they’re racism in 2024 if your not white I advise you not to go to this restaurant

We were a party of six and we wanted to try everything! We drank and ate plenty. The staff was friendly, the food was excellent and the entertainment was certainly entertaining. My sister got a surprise birthday song and cheesecake that was so good. The winners were the kielbasa soup, the schnitzel and smoked kielbasa .

Such a sweet place with delicious food, a cozy atmosphere and I had a peek in the kitchen, it was full of what I believe were some pleasantly chatty Polish women. Definitely worth checking out! Street parking was super easy to find, prices reasonable and a pleasant surprise to get a free bread basket at the beginning of the meal.Parking: Park on most places in the street or surrounding street.

It was cold in the restaurant, food was not like it used to be. I've been going there for 30 years and won't go back. Waitress never came back to refresh our drinks.

My favorite restaurant in Detroit! The food is fantastic and the service is wonderful. It reminds me of restaurants from my youth in all the best ways. We both got the Polish plates which I recommend. Complimentary bread sticks and butter is so old school, I love it. Great vibe too.
