“I hadn't been In the Crump Pump in 50 yrs. Some friends from the PHS class of "71" decided to have lunch there. The food was fantastic and the prices. I couldn't believe I got a burger and fries for $6..what a deal !! Highly recommended this place for the good food and service?“

“We get the pizza regularly to take home. It is a Detroit style crust as in leavened and cooked in a pan. Nearly always crispy to perfection with a satisfying crunch. My wife is a picky eater but goes nuts on this pizza. She is a small lady but will eat 3/4 of a large and make herself sick on it. It may contain crack cocaine. It isn't NY or Chicago style. It is it's own thing and that thing is delicious. Cash only joint.“

“We had never been to Village Inn before, but the definitely exceeded all expectations we had. Going for the 4pm all you can eat perch and cod buffet, perch on a buffet? What? and for $16.99? Yes please! It was delicious! Many other sides to choose from as well. The atmosphere was great, the staff was very helpful and friendly, and everything was clean and welcoming. It was super busy, but I understand why. We will definitely be back to order off the menu. Thank you Village Inn! Great job! P.S. the cheese curds we got as an appetizer were the best we have ever had!Parking: The lot can get full at busy times, but there are other parking options.“

“It is a great bar, lots of the people there are regulars. Owner and servers are very nice and on point with their serving skills. Love it on Thursday's 1.00 beer day. Spend a little and have a great time. Other day are great prices as well.“

“The bar is not only great drinks, great music,but also the owners and bartenders are like my family.This is a place to relax and not worry about ripping you off. “My husband and I stopped here because we were shopping at the Blue Knight Salvage store, we got seltzer water here. As we were walking out, a wonderful aroma floated across the parking lot and this little place was across the street. So we drove across and stepped inside..it is a wee bit dark in there but that's par for little bars in Michigan and probably other places. We sat down and everyone was friendly, on the TV was game shows, so we were happy about that because of how freaking horrible it is to go somewhere and everywhere you look is a sport of some kind...not everyone likes sports so this made us happy and then we all joined in, fun! I don't like bread of any kind so I asked for extra hamburger patties and the guy hooked me up, I got two burgers and it was topped with fresh red onion, lots of pickles and a nice slice of tomato. I stay away from dressings or condiments. My husband had the chicken sandwich and enjoyed that thoroughly!! Very cute, clean place...!!“

“Nice location downtown on the river,with lots of good parking .Never would have known it existed, if not for someone commenting on Facebook. Nice restaurant with indoor & outdoor seating with great views of the river and we had a good waitress.There were plenty of good sounding choices on a big menu. We had the Lobster rolls as an appetizer and they were very good. I had the Hawaian Coconut Cod and a side of Brussel sprouts, the cod was good but hardly had the slightest hint of Coconut, and the sprouts were good ,but a bit greasey. She had the grilled salmon with a side salad and a baked potato. Her salad was fine , the salmon was overcooked and dry, with a barely warm baked potato. A manager stopped by , but was to late to make adjustments ,to the orders. I rated it overall a 4 , she was closer to a unimpressed 3. I think there is real potential here , if you could get the kitchen to serve it up as good as it sounds on the menu.“

“Wanted to try somewhere new very disappointed in Perch dinner went at about 3pm before crowd fries were over done and greasy garlic tst was black on one side there were 4 pieces of fish so two fish total not worth $20 well continue going to Turkey “

“I was pleasantly surprised how clean the bar was! The two wonderful ladies working were on their game, same with the kitchen. I had the perch sandwich and it was perfect (minus it missing the top bun at first, but was quickly remidied) I was very happy. This place has really taken a change for the better! This is my hometown and it's great to find places doing well. My regards to the kitchen for their work as well. Cheers!“

“Drinks are cheap and staff is always so friendly. Thursday karaoke is always a great time too! They don’t usually have food, but do have pop ups or food trucks sometimes during events, which has always been amazing. 10/10 would recommend for a Bay City “Cheers” kind of vibe.“

“We've wanted to try this place for a while. Finally decided to stop in and it was great. I like the small town bar feel. I don't drink but i can see it being a good to place for drinkers. My wife and I both had burgers with waffle fries. Our server was great and very friendly. All the servers were friendly. The food was great. We will definitely stop back in.“
