“Pizza is ok, really enjoyed the French dip sandwich! Didn't really care for the stromboli, cheese lacking flavor. Service is very good, very outdated interior but has a lot of character due to how old it is, did notice it was clean inside, not one of those stale beer smelling bars.“

Served with a mini bottle of Heinz ketchup. 5/5 Pork tomahawk was cooked & seasoned perfectly, accompanied by smashed potatoes that were bland with a mustard based sauce that wasn't my favorite. String beans were over salted. 4/5 Diver scallops were perfectly cooked, but way over salted, served with crispy bacon that was even more salty, red pepper puree that was also over salted. We were most excited for this dish, but the most disappointed. 3/5. Service was courteous and efficient. 4.5/5 Ambiance was warm & it was well decorated. 4.5/5 Glad we tried it, but did not meet our expectations for a restaurant with nearly 5 stars on Yelp.“

“This is something special, I will remember this restaurant forever, from the moments they open me the doors to moment I left the place I feel so magical, very nice people was inside, and food, I really don’t have words! Taste was so good balanced, every sauce, even colors, fish was so good cooked, and decorated but my taste, nothing to much just like they need to be! Harmony! They are so unique and so original! “Excellent service. Burgers are very good. Burger patties are super thick. I had the blu cheese burger and the only complaint I have is the plate seemed crowded and the sweet potato tots were burnt. Not something I would tank a review for just tossing it out there. Also, i still ate everything lol. It was good. Nice lite atmosphere, typical trendy bar scene. Great food, party of three with drinks, 86 bucks. Not too bad. I'd come back“

“We ate at The Towne Plaza for the first time today. The ambiance has a cool, chill vibe. Definitely a place to go in the "off season." I imagine they are quite slammed during season. We had cocktails that were all on point. The bloody Maria's had wonderful garnishes. We had a lovely server who accommodated all of our wants and needs. If you have any food allergies they are very accommodating. Everything we ordered was extremely delicious. We had several Benedict's, pork belly, the omelette, smoked bacon and extraordinary scrambled eggs. All were on point. The service was fast and efficient. Can't wait to return!“

“Oaky’s is out of the way near Grawn, but it’s worth the drive. Old timers knew the place as Giovanni’s Roadhouse, then Maddy’s Tavern. Both had ok food in a rustic building. Oaky’s owners have greatly improved the place. It’s large and airy inside, with a long wraparound deck outside. The food is mighty fine: the kitchen did a first-class job with our Smoked Turkey Club and Steak ’n Mushroom soup. The servers know their stuff and are a pleasure to deal with. The prices are a reasonable - indeed, they’re a buck or two lower per item than what you’ll find at competitors. And the parking lot isn’t the potholed monster like it was back in the old days.“

“I've been here multiple times over the years but am finally reviewing this place. Their woodfired pizza is astounding. If you want to feed a lot of people (or even just a few people) this place will give you tasty, high quality pizza for a reasonable price. I've had many of their pizzas but this time around I got the Stoker, which has all their wood-roasted ingredients and a hint of spice (picture included). Another favorite ofine is the Burlington Northern which has pears and prosciutto among other items, and it may sound weird but it is so good! Today I enjoyed their Looper Amber Ale which is a very nice amber, biscuity and a touch of sweetness (and honestly I'm not a huge amber ale person) as well as their Watch Hill Hazy IPA, which had a nice typical hazy IPA fruity flavor. Definitely recommend coming for a nice lunch or dinner, their outside space is amazing even in winter!“

“I grew up in this town but left in 1985. I’ve lived in California since and have eaten at a lot of great restaurants including the Laundry, Chez Panisse, Slanted Door and Mr Chows to name a few. This without a doubt rank's right there. I honestly never thought I’d have a decent thing to eat in this town other than bar food but now I know exactly where it is. If you’re hungry for something exceptional look no further. I have never liked mushrooms, but the mushroom toast was my favorite dish. I can’t believe I’m saying it. “Holy cow! Where do I start ? The decor’, ambiance, service, craft cocktails and food…. OUTSTANDING ! We were in Traverse City for a long weekend. We saw The Tasting Room while we were walking around town. We loved the looks of the place and decided to give it a try for dinner. We told our server how impressed we were with the food, next thing we knew, Chef Steve and one of the owners, came to our table! The NY Strip was SO tender ! Like butter! The Grouper was magnificent. Served with risotto that was equally good! And the Chocolate Cheesecake was to die for! We loved the place so much , we went back the next night. Strongly recommend The Tasting Room !! They have many tapped beer along with full bar beverages. We have enjoyed many meals here and plan to visit each time we are in town. “The staff is friendly and inviting the minute you walk in. The brewpub is decorated nicely with low lighting with lot to look at.We sat at the bar and received service immediately. I ordered the banh mi chicken sandwich with fries ($15) with a side of ranch ($1.50) and my husband ordered the blackened mahi tacos that came with chips and salsa ($14).Both items were SO GOOD! The chicken sandwich comes on a ciabatta roll that was soft and warm. The cabbage, radishes and cilantro on it were all fresh and crispy. The tacos came with two tacos and did only have one piece or fish on each taco but the taste was on point. Even the chips and salsa were tasty. I sometimes find chips and salsa at a restaurant can feel like an afterthought and these did not!We also each ordered a beer and they were both amazing! Our bill total with two meals and a beer each was $45.Expect to pay for parking while eating here. We only had to pay a dollar at a parking meter for an hour.“

“Have been buying Asiago Roasted Garlic bread for years. Great Bread toasted loaded with real garlic cloves. However the last loaf lacked any Garlic at all. I was hoping in their southwest burrito, that the inner contents were more course, instead of almost like a baby food paste. But tasty nonetheless! And warning their regular coffee is literally the strength of a French press. Yeesh! My body is sensitive to caffeine.“
