“The food was really good! I had the Cowboy Burger. It was really good! It does have three buns so it's kinda tall. My wife had the grilled chicken BLT wrap. She especially liked the chicken in the wrap. The Long Island iced tea I order was great. It was heavy on the liquor, which I like, but still had a good taste. The waitress checked on us frequently and was very helpful and informative. The restaurant was a little loud, which isn't always a bad thing. There was a modern style juke box.“
“The food is absolutely delicious. We stumbled in one day looking for a good place to eat not far from home and also a place that was locally owned, not a chain. We were pleased to find that the owner is a chef who bought the pub so he could spend more time with family. He is there and does prep and cooking of many made in the kitchen items such as homemade ketchup,pickles,soups and one of the best pork tenderloin sandwiches I've ever had , bluegill fish. Well the list goes on. It kinda has that cheers ambiance. Staff is great and don't be surprised if you see the chef who is delightful. This is definitely a favorite. You should try it . It will be one of your favorites too.“

“We had the traditional bar food off the menu which was traditional bar food taste. I forgot to try the jalapeño ketchup. This is a really fun location as it has a lot of the fire dept history. The service was great, our waitress was super sweet.“

Forget the great prices and generous portions.. the quality is what will leave you craving more. Everytime I stop in Buchanan I'm usually seduced by the mouthwatering aroma coming from this place. If you're lucky to be in town when they are open you are in for a treat! From the great sirloin burgers they have starters like white cheddar cheese curds and so much more. Definitely a must stop!! I have to add.. from now on I'll not only be stopping in for a drink and a bit but I will be buying food to take home with me as well! Why does this place have less than 5's? Probably some douche yelper thinking they're food critics. They should get the South Park Golden Badge of being the "top yelper" so that they get the special treatment they deserve. I read a review from ones of these people and I do not believe they waited two hours for their food. I've been there on a Saturday when they were jam packed and they're was one bartender, one cook and one server and my food came out super quick, hot and fresh.. and I don't recall ever having to ask for a refill. They were hustling to get peoples orders out, that time and all other times I've been their the service has been excellent and the food is just great bar food.. a Half pound sirloin cheeseburger with fries is only $10.99 and all the started I saw were $7.99.“

“Hotel bar as you would expect. Not a lot of food except for breakfast is in the morning. The bartender staff was great and friendly. People that hang out here generally come back from games etc and kind of a good vibe. Not a destination spot for a bar as you would expect in a small hotel Holiday inn but nevertheless cold beer, good drinks good service.“

Loved them & super snackable—even when I was full, I wanted to continue to eating both style of wings ?My partner & I wanted a little more spice on the sweet n spicy bc it was mostly sweet. She is not a spicy fan either. If I was at my house I would have added maybe red pepper flakes or something as a hint of, “oh hey there, heat.”That said, these are the best wings I’ve had at any bar in the area. I know places got to cover their overhead and the atmosphere is always good ,good people good bartender but you know whatever. “Went in on lunch and the server did such a great job. The kitchen also nailed the food. The boneless wings were hot and fresh and the loaded fries ( with queso) are highly recommended as they put just the right amount of queso as to not make the fries soggy. Great Job today!“
