“I really love this place, the food and the people who work there. But, for the love of God plssss stop letting random customers behind the counter! ?That is so unsanitary. Why have waitresses if your customers are going to just get up and grab whatever? I love you guys but this makes me not want to come back. I sat here a whole 15 min and watched this happen prob 4x. I stopped coming for a while bc of this and just started coming back. Again love the ppl and food...pls pls pls stop letting whomever behind the counter.“
“I may have a bit of a love affair with this place. It's truly one of those local, cozy establishments that we're all looking for: perfect lighting, not too big, lots of history, and a memorable experience. The food is excellent, with the burgers being the absolute star of the show. The staff there is super friendly and welcoming, and the whole place is impeccably clean and tidy. It's a regular favorite of mine now, and I can't wait to share it with others. Don't forget, this is a CASH ONLY establishment, but there is an ATM on site if you need it.“
“Went in on lunch and the server did such a great job. The kitchen also nailed the food. The boneless wings were hot and fresh and the loaded fries ( with queso) are highly recommended as they put just the right amount of queso as to not make the fries soggy. Great Job today!“
“Not bad mouthing this Historic bar. Great ham sandwich. Only a four on service not because of the staff, usually under staffed because it's full!!! Atmosphere is what you want. We've been there so many times it obviously didn't bother us. Going on 200 yr old building. GREAT HAM ?Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp to door.“
“Very good food. Everyone knows everyone. Great place to meet friends. Had a great time having Brunch with siblings and Cousins. Has breakfast with my sister here this morning 9/20/2023. Great food and friendly waitresses. Always smiling and bring good conversations.“
“Culver's is honestly one of my FAVORITE places to go for just about whatever.I love their concrete mixers so much. They are always very polite no matter how frustrated they are due to overload they know they got a job and they stick to it.“
“The food is really good. The service was a bit slow but that's probably due to it being busy. Would eat there again. I got the country fried steak. The gravy is top tier. The steak was a bit tough but a good portion and flavorful.Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible“
“The atmosphere and the people were great, zero complaints. For the food we ordered it was definitely over priced. Especially the drinks, I got a mimosa and it was the smallest glass and most expensive compared to my party that was there that got other alcoholic beverages.“
“We made reservations for a dinner on the day of our visit and were lucky to get a good table. I recommend making reservations in advance to avoid being seated in the Bistro. Also, be prepared to utilize the bookstore parking lot if registered as a guest of the Morris Inn because the lot next to the Inn requires an electronic pass. I am unsure whether parking can be arranged during reservation. Regarding our interior experience, dinner was easily a 5-star event. We were placed in the care of a kind and sophisticated waitor and generally pleased by the overall conditions of the restaurant. Procession through the University toward the Morris Inn was magnificent. We shall certainly return here soon. I recommend the duck with a Manhattan and Death by Chocolate for dessert.“
“The food is absolutely delicious. We stumbled in one day looking for a good place to eat not far from home and also a place that was locally owned, not a chain. We were pleased to find that the owner is a chef who bought the pub so he could spend more time with family. He is there and does prep and cooking of many made in the kitchen items such as homemade ketchup, pickles, soups and one of the best pork tenderloin sandwiches I've ever had , bluegill fish. Well the list goes on. It kinda has that cheers ambiance. Staff is great and don't be surprised if you see the chef who is delightful. This is definitely a favorite. You should try it . It will be one of your favorites too.“
“Have been there a half dozen times and their filet mignon is about the best I have ever had. Slightly crunchy on the outside and super tender on the inside. The accompanying sauces are all great as well. Shrimp cocktail are huge and the sauce is a different and better variation. Great wine selections and excellent service any time. Beer can desserts are ridiculously good. I have never had anything here that wasn't great. It's not cheap but it's worth every penny. They are known for their "Sword of John Adams'. I have never had it but I have seen people order it and never able to finish it all.“
“Best wings!!! Not pieces, but whole wings.Good prices.Don't let the outside scare you. Building and neighborhood may need an update, but definitely worth the try.Only place we get chicken wings at anymore no one else compares. They have a large variety of other items but I've yet got past the wings!“
“Nice place with a full menu from hot dogs to ribs, burgers and really tasty gyros. I just wish they used shredded cheese instead of cheese sauce. But the dogs are all beef and the staff was wonderful!!Parking: Large parking area.Kid-friendliness: Open atmosphere so no problem for smaller kids to move around.“
“Becca was great! Got our drinks quick and placed our orders. Checked on us regularly keeping our drinks filled and the food was delicious. We Got the Zicks pulled pork sandwich and the simple chicken breast dinner both were good and would order again.“
“went to top notch today with my family and we had the greatest restaurant experience. We had the sweetest young lady named Erin as our waitress and she made us feel as if we were everyday customers. I highly recommend you guys. And thanks again for your great service sweetie!!!!!“
“I couldn't believe how crowded it was. But the service was good and the food tremendous!Wheelchair accessibility: Don't see how you could get a wheelchair in here. It's too tight when people are seated. Might suggest a take out and have someone deliver. Food is that good.“
“We had the traditional bar food off the menu which was traditional bar food taste. I forgot to try the jalapeño ketchup. This is a really fun location as it has a lot of the fire dept history. The service was great, our waitress was super sweet.“
“I thought I left this place a review already..DO NOT LEAVE BUCHANAN WITHOUT STOPPING HERE! ITS AMAZING!! Forget the great prices and generous portions.. the quality is what will leave you craving more. Everytime I stop in Buchanan I'm usually seduced by the mouthwatering aroma coming from this place. If you're lucky to be in town when they are open you are in for a treat! From the great sirloin burgers they have starters like white cheddar cheese curds and so much more. Definitely a must stop!! I have to add.. from now on I'll not only be stopping in for a drink and a bit but I will be buying food to take home with me as well! Why does this place have less than 5's? Probably some douche yelper thinking they're food critics. They should get the South Park Golden Badge of being the "top yelper" so that they get the special treatment they deserve. I read a review from ones of these people and I do not believe they waited two hours for their food. I've been there on a Saturday when they were jam packed and they're was one bartender, one cook and one server and my food came out super quick, hot and fresh.. and I don't recall ever having to ask for a refill. They were hustling to get peoples orders out, that time and all other times I've been their the service has been excellent and the food is just great bar food.. a Half pound sirloin cheeseburger with fries is only $10.99 and all the started I saw were $7.99.“
“We have visited before and knew we would have to wait on a football weekend. We got seated very promptly at a high top in the bar(we like)! The waitress was sweet and delivered good service. The guys had bison meatloaf and it was very salty. (previously it was really good, so my husband recommended it this visit). I had the fish special and it was cooked perfectly. Other dish was a pasta dish and she loved it. Good flavor. We had a very nice time. Food and service very good and we did not have high expectations being it was ND football weekend. Only reason for 1 rating down was the disappointing meatloaf. So more like 4 1/2 stars!“
“Food was excellent, server was prompt even though she forgot my beer it was still a good experience. It does get very loud when it is busy and it's difficult to talk to others at your own table over the noise. They could definitely use some sound deadening decor to break up the noise.“
“We don't have Culver's in the mid-Atlantic region so anytime I return to the Midwest I have to get it! My favorite is the pork loin sandwich with mustard and extra pickles, with the fried cheese curds on the side and Culver's root beer! Their butter burgers are also excellent! Custard is always good as well, rich and creamy, with good flavors!“
“Always consistent with its amazing service and food. Definitely our go to place even with our child with special needs. Manager went out of his way to make our day and he didn't even know it. We're always so afraid to take our child to a sit down restaurant because he has melt downs. Those are no fun for us nor people around us. But when staff sees small kids they move a little more swiftly and it's appreciated.“
“We had a long weekend stay at the Elkhart RV Park nearby and decided to visit on a Saturday afternoon for a late lunch. We had salads, which were very generous, but were intrigued by their breakfast menu and decided to come back on Sunday morning. We arrived just after 9am and were seated immediately. The restaurant was busy, but not overly crowded. Taylor was our server and welcomed us with a large, warm smile. She brought us waters and gave us coffee while we inspected the large breakfast menu. My bride had a breakfast biscuit sandwich and I had a Western skillet with wheat toast. We both greatly enjoyed our breakfasts, but my wheat toast was over-toasted and dry. Taylor was excellent, returning frequently to refill our coffee and ask how the meal tasted. There are lots of good looking items on the menu, so we'll visit again if we're ever in the area.“
“We saw a picture of a great burger and decided this place was a must. When driving up the to restaurant it sits in a strip mall. The exterior gave off "maybe not" vibes. Walking in it has a divey comfortable feel. And it did deliver. We started with some wings and stuffed potato skins. Also a couple of beers. That day domestic on tap beers were $5. The potato skins were huge! The wings were solid. After the potato skins and wings it's was too much. We never ordered entrees. So you know what that means, we have to return. And what a return.. it was trivia night. But you better make a reservation for that. Good food, great appetizers and nice beer selection. The staff was the best! We enjoyed this place.“
“We went here for our anniversary. Got stuck in the sportsman bar. Was very disappointed no atmosphere in this section. The benches actually looked dirty. The food is decent but nothing exceptional, lacked flavor. Prefer Carrabbas in Kalamazoo, Mi or LaCantina in Paw Paw.“
“Great food, decent service, and we really love the atmosphere, especially in the winter. A little bummed at the limited menu, and there was no dessert being served on a Saturday night, which was a bummer because it was also my birthday dinner. It's expensive, so be prepared to leave with a full stomach and empty wallet. There's also a surcharge if you pay with a card, which is really not cool.“
“Extraordinary service at Aspen! The 2 hosts greeted us with genuine smiles as they opened the doors. Noah, our server, was very friendly and full of good recommendations. He really made our first visit a good one ? the kind lady who brought our nachos out was great and the GM Moouk who came to chat with us for a bit even gifted us a little treat for our next visit. The staff at Aspen are truly Top Notch and a huge reason this restaurant just became a family favorite. The food!! So many choices you'll have a hard time choosing just one dish. The fish came out thick and flakey and the burger hot and juicy. Delicious nachos with ingredients to cover each chip. And complimentary pretzels with mustard for the table.Blown away by our first visit, cannot wait to return!“
“I went with my family this evening 3/21/2024. Being recently opened on a Thursday it was understandably crowded.Service was good, the staff is very friendly from the door greeter to the managers. The ribs were excellent and Sirloin was also very good.Overall an excellent addition to the area. We will go back“
“Love going here. Rather it be by myself, with my girlfriend, or with my family. Food is always fresh, staff is always so polite, and it doesn't cost as much as some other places do for the same food. So I recommend coming here if you want great food, friendly staff, and something that won't hurt your “
“Gave 3 stars for the atmosphere because I didn't dine in. When ordering from the drive-up they always make you pull forward with a number attached to your car... sometimes it seems like forever till you get your food, but this time and this location, the food came out very quickly. My favorite is the double mushroom; it's da bomb ? ??. Onion rings rock too, the cheese curds here used to be completely fantastic, but now they mix in the yellow cheese with a white cheese and it's only half okay 1/2 ?“
“One of our local favorites, I don't know why we keep trying other places. Cameron's has never disappointed. Love to sit on the back patio. Food is very good and you can tell that they really care about service.Kid-friendliness: We have had multiple trips with large group and several kids and they are very accommodating to what ever we needed.“
“First roadtrip of 2024 - destination: Bellaire, MI. Because of winter advisory, we decided to stop in South Bend, IN, overnight. Dining tonight at Bitro933 - a restaurant in Hilton Hotel. We highly recommend this place that is privately owned by a husband an wife team who have total control over their menu. Chadd is an excellent asset to this creative team - he is personable and makes you feel like you've been friends forever. They have really good food! The onion soup - phenomenal, the pepito steak sandwich - tender and flavorful (and big enough to share), and his dessert drink was a wonderful ending to a great meal as was the brown butter cake. This was such a fun adventure!“
“Food was great but staff kind of blew off the new customers. seemed like they're ally only cared about the usual customers so service to the new people was kind of slow. None the less do t let that discourage you from trying them out. There Monstrella stick are absolutely “
“Very much a mom and pop type place, the pancakes are so tasty and the servers are ALWAYS friendly, not pushy or rude like other places. The cook will even come out sometimes to talk with us. My only complaint is that it doesn't stay open long enough. It would be nice to have dinner there on some cool, crisp summer night then relax outside on the bench. Or just have a good, relaxed place to eat dinner.“
“This post is a shout out to the waitress at Prime Table in Niles, MI. My great- granddaughter and I met there for lunch. After eating she realized she had lost $200.00 somewhere between the parking lot and inside the restaurant. Now, we all know that is a lot of money and if found could be very tempting to keep.Josie had lost it in the parking lot and this honest, amazing waitress found it and turned it in to the owner. The next time you dine there if she is your waitress just know that you are being served by a wonderful human being. Her name is Gabby B.“
