“Living in Lansing, everytime I've visited family in Southfield, THIS was our go to restaurant. Sandwiches are huge, everything is fresh to order and it's been that consistent for the over 30 yrs I can vouch for.To add: not all Bread Baskets are created equal! It's great they are expanding but some of the other locations are slacking“
“Stopped for lunch while working in the area, our group had a #1 (2 of them) and 2 Chicago Dogs. The meat was excellent, Corned Beef wasn’t tough or chewy and the hot dog was also quite tasty, eating areas and grill area were clean and tidy and the owner and employee were great, super friendly, will definitely return when in the area again!“
“Oh MAN Rocco's is the place I have searched for in vain until last year when I tried them for the first time. Since that first meatball sub I have had almost every sandwich on the menu and so far not one has disappointed! Today I had the Corner Deli and was transported to Italian paradiso! In case you non-Italians did not know, ciabatta is the Italian baguette and Rocco's bakes many fresh loaves several times per day! Usually it is still warm from the oven even if you get a cold sandwich! There is no better sandwich bread in my progenic-Italian opinion! They are in Midtown on Cass just East of Mack. Try them if you have yet to do so. You will thank the gods!“
“This place is the absolute best. The shawarma, OMG so good ! Bring a friend it's so huge. Split a cucumber and tomato salad are the lentil salad. Add some falafel into your mix. And oh my gosh the hummus. And make sure you save room for a little piece of sweet heaven. The only thing I wish they would do is get their loyalty card back !Brian and Jerry and StaceyVegetarian options: You can't go wrong with homemade falafel, and the world's best hummus. Throw in some tabouli salad and your set“
“It was lunch time and the staff wouldn't stop apologizing about being behind. Everything was ok with it because we knew what we were getting. Some of the best sandwiches in the state and an awesome olive bar. The wait really wasn't that long and the food was very fresh and great tasting as usual.“
“First time here. Came with three kiddos who had sandwiches off their kids menu. Portions are generous, staff is kind, service is fast. My son was watching him make the sandwiches and the gentleman didn’t seem to mind at all, he was engaging and talkative. Really appreciated it! Will definitely be back.“
“What a great spot for a quick lunch! The food is always delicious and fresh! I started coming here when I worked nearby but still make it a point to stop in when I'm on that side of town. Love the spicy chipotle turkey and ALL the soups.“
“My go-to place for pierogi's, and other Polish food that I don't want to make myself. If you're buying your pierogi's from big grocery stores, you're doing yourself a disservice by not getting them here. The quality and taste is night and day.“
“Went in for the house special which is a corn beef sandwich in St. Patrick’s day… it was delicious and the value is insane! 10$ sandwich and chips in 2024 is nearly unheard of, especially because I just had a comparable corn beef sandwich for 20$?!?!? Service was 5/5. The restaurant itself is extremely tired…. Doesn’t look like a deep clean has taken place in the last 6 months or so… 3/5 for that. Overall 4/5!Recommendation: skip the up-charge for fries… the homemade chips are way better!“
“I use this deli for catering business lunch events. The food is fresh, plentiful, and tasty! There are always so many varieties to choose and we leave with compliments! Today I was thankedFor providing “cold soda pop.” Thank you Troy Deli for providing our guests with a cold beverage to go with their lunch! It didn’t go unnoticed.I didn’t even mention that the prices are very reasonable!!!Thank you!!“
“I feel like this is a little gem I just never knew existed. They have great salads, BOMB corned beef, and really good chicken and rice soup. The food is very fresh and it’s not a long wait. The owner and staff are so so nice. It really gives a home/neighborhood kind of vibe that’s very comforting. I think everyone should come check this place out. They have such a big menu and it’s right in Corktown so I’m gonna have to try more things!“
“My fiance and I were visiting from NE Ohio for the day and stopped by!I called prior about their vegan options and how they prepare vegan sandwiches. I also asked about allergens such as peanuts, legumes, pea protein, etc. My fiance and I were impressed how careful they are with vegan sandwich preparation and cross-contamination. They handle everything separately and are very careful. My fiance has many food allergies, so we have to be careful! We also can’t eat out a lot because of this as well, so this was a treat for us. I was told on the phone since they serve vegan food “they have to do it right.”It was a first for both of us to eat vegan deli meat, and as a meat eater myself, I was impressed! If anyone is looking for vegan, allergen-conscious, and delicious sandwiches, this is the place to go. We will definitely be coming back when we visit the area❤️❤️❤️“
“Love the food here . My go to meals are the loaded fries and I add chili ? or breakfast meals .Edited review: my family usually comes in almost every weekend on Saturday but Google never asked me for an update so I decided to do one myself. I absolutely love it here. The food is so good and I love the customer service as well. I can honestly say I have been coming here for decades. Since I've worked at the Walgreens next door and the Easter seals clinic. Anyways back to Stackerz... So I ordered the chicken wings ? ? and waffle this time. I was not disappointed . My brother and son ordered breakfast skillets . The chicken was fried to perfection ?. The waffle was crispy but not dry . I look forward to spending time with my family and having a good breakfast every weekend.Kid-friendliness: They offer a kid friendly dine in menu . They usually have coloring books and crayons as well for kids to keep them busy while dining.“
“Never was a big fan of corn beef till I came here. I can honestly say I can eat one of their sandwiches ? twice a week and they are an hour away (I'm from Flint) best sandwich I have had in a long time!!! Most definitely recommend them! While they are high the quality of their meat, bread and ingredients totally makes it worth it!“
“Wow!!! I went once and then HAD to go back. Went during lunch at work it is very close to me. The staff was training some new hires for the holiday season coming up and everyone was just super nice and friendly. Took just a little bit longer to get rung up because of the new help but did not change my opinion. The lunch options are absolutely amazing and decently priced you could get just the sandwich or a side and a drink OR TWO SIDES which is what I got lol. I got the honey baked ham sandwich the first time with two sides in the photo they ran out of the bread so they put it on a Hawaiian bun which was fine but I can't wait to try it with the ciabatta bun. The regular classic ham sandwich was absolutely amazing also. If you are looking for a delicious sandwich for lunch come here, a nice place that is clean and tidy come here, and if you are looking for good service come here! I can't say anything more great about this place and the sandwiches.“
“Reuban: corned beef ismore leaner than other places I’ve been to that specialize in Rubens. Their onion rings are fantastic as well.Been going here for years as well as Northside New Your Deli on 23 mile.Great meals and the prices are still within reasonable.“
“Can’t recommend this place enough. Their sandwiches are huge, sure, but also mouth-watering good - I always get mine grilled. They also have good variety of sides, beverages and desserts. And to top it off the staff is incredibly friendly!“
“I love this place!! Food is excellent, esp the Double Trouble ? Service is fast! I came in with an order for 14 people. They had me out in less than 40 minutes. The ladies are very down to earth and funny!! I love the vibes. I'm waiting for "you know who" to join me at the Whiskey Factory ?“
“Seriously, Frank's has some of the best sandwiches, if not food, in the city. The corned beef sandwich is out of this world (HUGE!) and I have yet to find another deli that can beat it. The prices are unbeatable for the portions they give you, the store is always well stocked and clean. The staff treats you like family and gets to know you quite well if you come by regularly. If you are a smoker, this is a pretty good place to get a pack if you are downtown as well.“
“This deli is hidden in a business building off of Big Beaver in Troy. I went today with two coworkers for lunch. The food was good and the staff was great, you felt truly appreciated as a customer and the three of us left the deli feeling better about the world than we did when we walked in...great people who merit your support and patronage if you're ever in the area.“
“The Honey Baked Ham store located on Long Lake in Troy, MI exceeded my expectations! I was in a major crunch and they delivered a large order same day! They offered first class customer service, delicious food in a small window of time with a smile. I can't thank Josh and his colleague (I don't remember her name) enough! They over delivered! Thank you so much for your great customer service! I wish every company operated like this!“
“Hello, I called in today and placed my order. The Man that answered the phone, he helped me with my order. He also was so polite and professional. Now, as for the food, it was soooooo goooood!!!! The cornbeef sandwich just melted in my mouth, it was so tender and good, I should have bought two. LOL. I was well pleased with everything. Oh! I was there about ten minutes. In and out.“
“I can't take the pictures because I eat and enjoy the sandwich lolI come here 2 or 3 times a month. The smoked turkey or honey baked ham sandwiches with that honey mustard sauce is to die for, fresh made and delicious. They have soup bones that I buy with raw beans to cook at home orFrozen foods to add to your meals. You can buy potato salad to go with your sandwiches too ?“
“I’m working in the area and Central Park Deli seemed like a good place to check out. The restaurant was nice and clean, staff was friendly. Food was a little expensive, compared to how much I usually spend on lunch, but delicious. I’ll be back next time I’m in the area.“
“Tucked into a little strip just off Woodward with office buildings all around, this suburban deli is probably the antithesis of a NYC deli: quiet, relaxing, more like a coffee house with food instead. They do a heck of a takeaway business as I found out while I ate in.An avuncular gentleman greeted me well before I made it to the counter. Great sense of humor, too. He joked with the other staff when not waiting on customers.I ordered a full Chicken Greek grilled wrap. Everything is available as full or half. Full wraps are $13, halves are $10. The other sandwiches are similarly priced.Only had to wait a couple minutes for my sandwich to be made.It was mildly flavored, the Greek/Italian dressing & feta really the only flavor involved. No olives, lots of iceberg and some tomato accompanied the chicken, as well. A touch dry, too.Plenty of seating if you want to stay. They even have electrical outlets under benches so you can recharge your electronic leash, I mean, cell phone. There is a restroom but you have to go into the kitchen to get there.Vegetarian options: Salads, soups, quesadillas and sandwiches can all be had without meat.Parking: 22 spaces in front.Kid-friendliness: Unless your kids are feral beasts, they'll be fine here.Wheelchair accessibility: Easily accessed, no curb, double doors and an abundance of room to navigate. Plenty of tables to sidle the wheelchair up to, as well.“
“Had been trying to go to Ernies for a while. Kept going and missing their hours. Finally, in the neighborhood right on time. We pull up, and you can tell it's a full house. My hubby isn't really patient, but he knows Ernies, and it'll be worth the wait. The line is wrapped around inside, 2 people creating sandwiches, everyone is chill, chatting....PATIENTLY. When you visit, don't be in a hurry. These sandwiches take time. They're definitely working as humanly possible for the time it takes to make this deliciousness.I had the No Pork Monster $14, which is turkey, turkey pastrami, chicken, and corned beef. From the pics below, you can see the layers. Work of art. Kudos to the young chefs workers that day. Ernie is older and not on the front line as much, but we asked if he was around. OMG!!! He comes from the back, so jovial, warm, and welcoming. He chats with you, and you feel like you've known him forever. He used to give you Hershey kisses in your hand and asks.."Who loves you baby," of which my husband was looking for his chocolate. Had to remind him that this post Covid and things are different now. Fortunately, the amazing goodness of an Ernies sandwish isn't.“
