The only extra here is a guy playing instruments. So for budget friendly families, get your cider and donuts, head north on Franklin Road, stop off at Kirk in the Hills for some free lessons in beautiful architecture or keep going north on Franklin to Johnson Outdoor Park where you can hike around the lake seeing animals in Rehabilitation ( deer straight ahead, owl to the right of the parking lot. We continued to the cabin in the woods and made the hike around the lake. Beautiful and free!“

They have all sorts of sweet baked goods, but the cookies and the keto cheese cake will take the edge off for the sweet baked goods cravings. “I was excited to hear that Dutch Girl Donuts was reopening, as many of my customers have the fondest memories of them, so I bought two dozen to bring to a customer on Thursday morning, and it was like it was Christmas morning, and Santa had brought all the favorite presents. What impressed me as much or more than the donuts were the stories shared with me about family memories of walking to Dutch Girl Donuts for a Saturday morning treat. “Stopped at their set up in Bowling Green Ohio at the Thayer car dealership. Donuts were a little under cooked for my liking but my son said they were delicious. I ordered 1 bag of powdered. The lady looked irritated that I was ordering. Tossed my order up on the counter and went on with the conversation I had interrupted. She put 1 scoop of powdered sugar on top of the donuts and called it a day Untimely leaving us with 3 powdered donuts and the rest plain. I think a little more effort in creating the dish and interacting with customers could make this truck a very popular snack spot!“

“My family is not from the area, so we went there for the very first time this morning for breakfast. The man who owns and runs the place is very kind and values his customers, even remembering their orders and thinking of his regulars in getting ingredients that he loves too. Thought goes into the food, and you can tell. A woman there chatted with us and suggested trying the sandwiches, and they were delicious! “This place is inside the Penobscot Building, through the main entrance and up the stairs. I stopped in here for lunch with some friends one day while attending an event Downtown. I got a BLT, which was excellent. The others who were with me enjoyed their sandwiches as well. Since many of the other lunch places around here are closed, this is a good, well-priced option for a simple lunch.“

“Wonderful baked goods and kind staff! Everything is extremely well made and the variety is excellent. The store is clean and well laid out. The inventory is large so you don't have to worry about them running out of donuts by 7:00 in the morning. They also open good and early like a proper donut shop. the donuts are fantastic and flavorful and really well made. The variety of flavors is impressive and delightful. “Had the raspberry flavor. A little chewier than regular donut but did not feel any more difference in taste vs regular donuts. The donuts-of-the-day are made in fresh batches and there's nothing to complain about this sweety goodness. The serving ladies are nice. The interior is awesomely decorated ! A tad pricier at 3$ per donut, so probably can't have one eveyday or for everyone in a large family.“

“This place use to be on my dog walking route. I'd order a drink, snack and a cup of water for my dog.
The snack always tasted great. They have a little table outside where I sat and it was really nice of them to find a container my dog could drink from.“
