“The food was amazing! It was our first time and we loved it. The service needs a lot of work. There was a line but it moved fast and we were quick to place our order. It took 40 minutes to receive the food after ordering. Everyone else was receiving their food after a reasonable wait time except me and the couple that ordered right after us. I had to ask at the 30 min mark and then finally received it at 40 min. We ordered to eat in but received it all in a take out bag. We ordered a #1 (received a #1 but charged a #2 on the receipt) a #3 ( but only received 1 slider, tender was missing) and a #4 (but received and extra slider). We made it work since we got the total # of chickens that we asked for and could not wait any longer for them to correct it. The dining room is a mess! We were there for well over an hour and not once did anyone come out to wipe down tables as diners were leaving. Everyone that came in had to sit at a dirty table if they wanted to dine in. An employee, in uniform, was eating at the far back right corner table during dinner rush ( Friday night 5:30). When the employee finished they also did not wipe down the table and left it dirty for the next diner. The overall service is unimpressive for a location that just recently opened (Cicero, NY). We will go back because the food was fabulous but we will not be dining in and will definitely check our order before leaving.“
“I gotta say that Chicken Shack chicken is the best fried Chicken i have ever had, regardless of which one you pop into.I hadn’t had KFC in like 23 years, and I remember it being awesome. And seeing as how they don’t have a Chicken Shack around me, i hit their crib up fer some extra crunchy. That junk was extra soggy & gristly.The Shack also blows away Zenders in that freak Bavarian type place in Frankenstein. They just flood u with their all u can eat gimmick, but their poultry products are sub par.The Shack coleslaw is also over the top tasty too. I think they must add sugar to it er something, because it’s like candy.So don’t skimp, and drive the 20 mins to get ur 2 piece lunch pack today!!!Oh, and fer atmosphere I prefer The Shack location in Lincoln Park. Being downriver I sorta fit in better (is that a good thing?). Plus it’s right down the street from where my friend Ashley lived with her husband. So if I got hungry parked down the street waiting for her husband to leave, it was the perfect location ?“
“Food- awesome! Some of the crispest chicken I have had recently. Its crispy like what you remember as a child when your parents took you to that southern chicken shack. The sides are also good... mashed potatoes are an "uplevel" version of what KFC makes. Sashito peppers are worth a try as well and are usually my second side. Service- good in general.... Call your order in as the App will tell you your food is ready; but it wont be. They will give accurate time if you call in your order. Ambiance- its better than chicken shack but since this is primarily carryout driven (they do have a few tables) dont go here for a first date.“

“Came here just to grab a snack because I was not feeling well. I ordered the pot pie because I remembered how delicious it was from a previous time when I worked in the area. My server was prompt, friendly and efficient! She greeted me with a pleasant smile and my food was hot, fresh, and delicious The pot pie was definitely what I remembered and I recommend this location to anyone who is in the area“
“Not as good the last 3 times going there. Chicken is smaller and lacking seasoning. I keep trying, hope whoever is doing the seasoning goes back to what they were doing. They also should check out getting a new chicken supplier, last time we got all dark meat the drum sticks were the size of a small wing! The thighs were very small also.I love this place, but 3 times in about 4 months I have trouble going back each time.“
“This the ONLY Chicken Shack I’m going to! The food is always BUSSIN; it’s super fresh and hot. The staff are always going above and beyond to give amazing customer service. “Slim Chickens is the latest addition to the Oakland University food court. It is a chicken sandwich/tenders/salad shop. The food is very good, perfectly spiced and is freshly cooked. Unlike some of the restaurants in the food court, the staff at Slim Chickens are very efficient. They process process orders quickly and I've rarely had to wait more than 10 minutes, even during the busy lunch hour. I highly recommend Slim Chickens and will be back in the future.“
“Went in to grab lunch with my mom the store had 3 employees running the entire store. The dining area was clean the employees very polite and they provided fast and excellent service. I was honestly impressed bc I know how stressful it is to be shorthanded and the choas that usually ensues but not here, it was like they are a fine oiled machine and everyone does there part effeciently.“
