My sisters and I meet here about 3-4 times a year. The service is always good as well as the food. A nice variety of items to choose from and they offer some gluten free items also. In the summer, it's nice to enjoy the patio and view of the lake. The best thing I've eaten there is the whitefish - delicious.
The food was good. I had the lobster, which was great. My wife had some chicken pasta. We also ordered the crab cakes, so make sure to use the sauce on them. Whatever it was, it was very good. The kids had mac and cheese, which had no flavor. Just wet, runny cheese.

The atmosphere is great, excellent service with knowledgeable, friendly staff. Most important for me, there are gluten free options prepared in a dedicated space. As a person with a severe gluten allergy, dining out can be a challenge. Cove Lakeside Bistro made the experience delicious and a delight.
