“The bad: Outdated dining area with dim lighting, and our waiter was extremely polite but had terrible body offer and it was extremely strong which isn't very pleasant while trying to eat dinner.The good: the drinks were very very strong and well made. The food was delicious and cooked perfectly with generous portions.“
“We rode our motorcycles up to the area and decided to stop here for lunch. We were seated right away and the staff was very pleasant. Our server was very quiet but did great. We ordered burgers and fries. Everything was great except the cook of the meat. Now, I like my beef a bit pink, but the cook on my burger was almost blue in the center. The cook on hubbys burger was better. He ordered his burger medium well, and it came out at medium rare. The fries were hot, crispy and heavenly. I ate mostly around the edges of the burger but it was still awesome tasting even though it was so rare. The reason for not giving 5 stars was because, when I unrolled my silverware it was used and dirty. It had bits of lettuce on the fork and clearly everything had been used. I asked the server for a new set and I was good to know.“
“We were on vacation from the east side of the state to see the air museum. I was in the mood for a Coney Island breakfast but they do not open until 11:00 a.m.. the parking lot was full as were all the tables except for a couple. We got right then. The menu was pretty extensive. After two cups of coffee I made my mind up. I'm not real big on undercooked hash browns and there's we're browned but I have to admit they have the best hash browns in the freaking world. Our breakfast was awesome and I highly recommend this place.“
“We were seated within 10 minutes even though it was busy. Brianna V was our waitress tonight. She was AMAZING!! The best I've had in years!!! All of the food was delicious! Thank you for making our dining experience so enjoyable!! BBQ burnt ends burgers, mozzarella twists, onion rings, freckled lemonade and a root beer float were our delicious meals.“
“The service and food is usually pretty on point at Lat42. I had an “off visit” at another location a while back. On a more recent visit, I visited the Portage location and had great service from Justin, like we usually have from Lat42. Toward the end, Sue was making her rounds as usual, and I shared our previous experience. She sat down, and showed how much she appreciated us sharing the experience, that she really cared and was sorry, and made things right without even being asked to. It’s great to always see familiar faces there, as that means they also treat the employees well. Sue always seems to make her rounds each time I’ve been there and shows how much she cares about the customers experience. I highly recommend.“
“The atmosphere is great, excellent service with knowledgeable, friendly staff. Most important for me, there are gluten free options prepared in a dedicated space. As a person with a severe gluten allergy, dining out can be a challenge. Cove Lakeside Bistro made the experience delicious and a delight.“
“Food was good but a little bland. Build your own omelet was a bit pricey for eggs and cheese. No western omelet available. Good bacon. Wish the omelet came with American fries. A bit busy with a large group in the center of the restaurant, but it didn't effect the time of food.“
“I love this place, I used to eat here more often with my grandparents and recently ate here again and I will say it lives up to my memories, I highly recommend buttermilk pancakes it what I always get here, it comes with cinnamon butter (the best kind) and syrup, personally I think that the small stack is enough for someone who doesn't eat a huge amount but you can still stomach the large stack. oh yeah you can also get bacon or sausage with it, and at least with the bacon it was cooked really well.“
“This was the first time I've been here and it was really nice. We had brunch with the adult kids and they really loved the build-your-own Bloody Mary bar. I really enjoyed the vegetarian biscuits and gravy. Great, pleasant, and attentive servers. If you haven't tried this gem in portage, then what are you waiting for?!?! “The food was outstanding. My daughter and I had the fish dinner even though it was lunch time. At the time I didn't think about the meal being hot and fresh and tasty, because that's kind of what you expect when you go out. But the food was perfect, hot and fresh just like I expected it. The people who work there seem to go out of their way to help me. Maybe it's because I'm a disabled vet I don't know but everybody seems to go that extra little bit that makes the experience a pleasant one.Parking: Plenty of parking, it's right off the main Road from the highway although it is a bit away from the highway.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy level wheelchair accessibility. Doors are not automatic.“
“Nice place, the people were friendly. Call ahead seating, we had to wait about 30 mins. The food was very good. You cook steak or seafood at your table on a hot rock. The sauces are good. Price, about $23 to $33 a plate plus drinks. The dessert was excellent.Kid-friendliness: We had a 2 1/2 year old with us. No problem. They sat us at a large booth that seated 6. Everyone had fun.“
“I sat at the bar by myself and honestly it was probably the best part of my day. I got the biggest steak in the house it was prepared to perfection and so so deliciously tender. But what really made it great was Jess my bartender, she was fantastic and so easy to talk to. She's by far the reason I enjoyed my meal as much as I did!!Oh and remember always always always tip your server, preferably in cash if possible they'll appreciate it. ?Parking: They get pretty busy but thankfully Sam's Club is right behind them with a large lot.Kid-friendliness: Kids are more than welcome and if it's their birthday they'll leave with a pretty good memory to share.Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of handicap parking, wide aisles to get thru and friendly staff to move things around if you can't.“

“Food was great and the staff managed to maintain their composure as a lady screamed at them over a sandwich she claimed wasn’t what she wanted and refused to allow them to correct HER mistake. “Great pub and restaurant. Many good pubs don't have good food options; or they aren't really 'pub-like' if you get what I mean. Main Street Pub is a great pub AND a great restaurant. The food is great, the atmosphere is nice and the servers are very friendly. They also have cute towers in the corners with round tables.“
“My fav BBQ type is brisket, and theirs is very good. I prefer plain brisket and cornbread, so I ordered the brisket sandwich without the bread and added the cornbread. My husband got the pulled pork sandwich and cornbread, which was also good. When I picked up the cornbread, I was amazed by the weight! It's very heavy (good) and still moist and not as sweet (also good) as many are. Very nice BBQ for a chain. And the staff were very friendly.“

“My kids and I ate in at turbo last night. They did a phenomenal job, even while being under staffed. They were able to make my daughter a gluten free cheeseburger, subbed a different cheese for my sandwich, and didn't hesitate about my order being difficult. I asked for an extra cup so my kids could share a shake. They went above and beyond and split it in 2 different cups with cool whip on top of each. It made their day! Highly recommend!“
