“Food is reliably good but I was shocked by the less-than-friendly service I got from both employees on the evening of May 1st, 2023. If I show up as a paying customer at 7pm, I shouldn't get a cold shoulder for interrupting your closing duties.Also, I was upset that your payment system doesn't accept cards by US Bank and I didn't know what until after my sandwich was made. Lesson learned.“
“This place is amazing! The ingredients are always super fresh (which makes sense because most are locally sourced). In my opinion, JG is a definite step up from Jersey Mike's and, as an added bonus, it is locally owned and not a big franchise.“
“Had the chance to visit here today and it was great. The store was clean, the service was friendly and the atmosphere was great too. The sandwich we ordered was the Firehouse hero. It was delicious and fresh. “Food was great and the staff managed to maintain their composure as a lady screamed at them over a sandwich she claimed wasn’t what she wanted and refused to allow them to correct HER mistake. A++ to them for that. Hopefully even that late in life she can learn how to talk to people respectfully. Great job guys.“
“Had the Cuban Sandwich today. Almost as good as the ones I used to have in Florida. I didn't see it on the regular menu though. If is, great. If it isn't, it should be. I'll get it every time I walk in. You can't find Cubans in Kalamazoo.“

“I've been here twice for pickup. Both times the service was excellent and the staff is quite friendly. The establishment is kept clean and the workstation where they build your sub is well organized. The only thing holding back a 5 star rating for me is in fact the subs. I'm a big Italian sub guy, and that's usually what determines the likelihood of me returning. After a couple tries, it's ok. I've definitely had better in Kzoo, and man I want to love this place but I have simply had better. Still a great place to get some lunch don't sleep on this spot! I'm likely to return due to being so close to my job. Keep it up guys you're doing great work!“
