“Came here with my family and noticed some awesome changes! First off, I like that they are hiring some fresh faces. Our waiter, Robert, was new and was doing a great job! We were impressed with his attention to detail. I got a side salad like I usually do, and it was super fresh. Times before, I stopped getting any sides because the salad would come out with yucky lettuce and tomatoes. I had an awesome salad! My mom and brother had fries with their meals, and we loved the new fries! They were very crispy and tasty. I could not even tolerate eating the old ones. I am impressed with the changes and will definitely be back! Kudos to the staff for working so hard to get this place in shape!”

“Great place for sure. Honesty the best bar burger i have had in years. After the cook made my burger she was cleaning the entire kitchen area. It was hand pounded patty on a great bun with fresh lettuce and tomatoes. If you follow me on Google you trust my reviews. Great place.”

“It's a McDonalds in a gestation. The wait times are long generally, they really like the multiple car waiting areas but they block the actual outlet traffic and cause employees to cartry food out to 1 or 2 cars rather than just getting the product ready for the first person. If longer trucks or cars stop at the front of the marked areas, it can block the other drive through patrons from leaving. While the food is up to McDonalds standards i do believe to much emphasis is put to the additional parking and service stations rather than to just getting the orders made. It's a strain i believe on the employees and the customers.

There is no way forcing people to walk almost every other order out to the parking lot is better for speed and moral than just focusing on the order at the pickup window. The workers are working hard but some kind of corporate plan to use the multiple order speakers and extra drive through parking is crippling efficiency.

“my goodness.... where to begin? our day almost went to crap. we went to grayling to buy a utility trailer but it turned out the seller was a scammer. we had plans to take our one and only day trip vacation this summer today because our daughter has been ill or in the hospital the majority of the year. we had one day.... but we needed a trailer and the person contacted us saying, today was the day. so.... our only play day this year was tabled and we went to meet up with what turned out to be a thief. so..... we decided to salvage the day and go to a new place for dinner. (try to make our only outing for the year special or unique) after consulting with my man google.... Gallagher's is where we landed. I'm so glad we went there instead of going to someplace familiar. The food was great, really great. Bob is a first class business owner.... very personable. my only problem is.... I'm still full and I only ate 1/2 my meal. We will go back! Thanks Bob”

“The baristas are so friendly and good at recommending new drinks. The college campus is new and very clean. They even have a Biggby parking spot close to the building!”

“I grew up in the house next door ( now a used car lot) in the 50’s and early 60’s. I took my wife up there to show her where I grew up and was happy to see the Spikehorn was still there. We stopped in had lunch it was very busy so we ate at the bar. Service was great bartender was friendly and efficient. Food was good . No complaints. I will be going back whenever we are back to Houghton Lake.”
