My wife is from northern Michigan. I'm from the east coast. Calumet is her go-to for food whenever. She loves the soups (dill pickle being her favorite) and she says their pasties are among the best she's ever had. Everything is fresh and cooked to order. Mad_Duck 24 pretty much covered it, but I'll add that everything is still just as described in that review. On those rare occasions where my wife is mad at me, food from here works better than flowers..
I've known Dave for almost 30 years, he's an amazing person as well as business owner. his food has always been top notch, whether it be his store front or catering services.

It would have been nice if they were open during the hours that the sign says they're open. Love the pasties (from a previous visit) but call before visiting or you'll be pasty-less.
